- The series is a lighthearted comedy that uses a humourous way to bring out the absurdity of society. The format of the story slightly resembles a sitcom. Roger Kwok and Shaun Tam will encounter different characters during their pursuit; those characters will become serial characters of those cases, and then other things are triggered, and other characters will appear.
- The story is brought out by Roger's character. Because of a small amount of money, he betrays Shaun, who frequents the restaurant, by revealing his address to a gangster who wants to kidnap him. He later realizes that Shaun is a good person, so he makes it up to him by secretly protecting him. Shaun gets kidnapped, and he is also kidnapped; however, after paying the ransom money and rescuing Shaun, he is diagnosed with transient global amnesia, so he does not know why his wife has left and why all of his money is gone. Thus, Shaun sticks to Roger, who was also kidnapped, in hopes of pursuing the details of the story. The story also develops from this matter.
- The story mainly talks about what happens after Shaun is kidnapped by Roger, but Shaun unfortunately loses his memory. Roger tries to stop Shaun from recovering his memories, which leads to a lot of laughs, and they even become friends because of this.
- Roger will play 「大話興」, who has just been released from prison, so he does not have a steady job. He is a job hopper. Apart from being a restaurant waiter, he will also work at a convenience store and do casual work as a porter. He is a down-to-earth grassroots character. He really likes to lie; however, when he is telling the truth, no one believes him. Shaun is deceived by him the most. His appearance and innermost feelings are unified. He directly says what he is thinking like a blowhorn. He, Elvina Kong, and Ho Yuen Tung are siblings; their parents left very early on, so they have since relied on each other and taken care of each other. He and Zoie Tam are recently divorced. Because he had to go to prison for kidnapping Shaun, his wife had already given up on him and had left him; however, they have a son who keeps creating opportunities for them. Later, he becomes friends with Shaun, who has forgotten that he had been kidnapped by him due to having lost his memory.
- Shaun will play Mung Yat Yin (蒙一言), a renowned interior designer who returned from studying in England. He has a pure personality. He is middle class and has his head in the clouds. He is a self-centred person who is inconsiderate of the feelings of those around him; however, being with Roger allows hims to understand the world, bringing him from the world of design to the real world. He loses his memory. He keeps suspecting that his wife, Grace Wong, is having an affair. He wants to rediscover his feelings for his wife. He and Roger both have setbacks in their love lives. He and Roger get mistaken as having a gay relationship. He is also called 「阿懵」.
- John Chiang will play Peter, the boss of a courier company; however, due to poor business, he sells it. He is a good father to his son, Shaun.
- Grace will play Freeya Yau Fei Yi (游菲兒), Shaun's wife. She loves her husband, but he ends up neglecting her. She is very environmentally friendly. She returned from studying in London, so she always quarrels with her traditional father-in-law, John.
- Elvina will play Ng Sun Mei (吳順美), a straightforward taxi driver. She is Roger's younger sister. Max Cheung is her ex-husband; he swindled a lot of money from her family.
- Zoie will play Si Man Nga (施文雅), Roger's wife. She and Roger have a son. Roger won her over with his sweet talk and sense of humour; however, after getting married, his lying becomes a problem, as his frequent lies lead to a crisis in their marriage. Since Roger is an odd-jobber, this puts financial pressure on the family, so she is forced to work to earn money to support the family, thereby becoming the head of the household. She and Roger have a love-hate relationship.
- Ho Yuen Tung will play Ng Yiu Chung (吳耀松), a mentally handicapped person with an optimistic personality. He has the mental capacity of a ten-year-old. He is the younger brother of Roger and Elvina. He is also called 「肥松」.
- Roxanne Tong will play 「睛晴」, a psychiatrist. She and Lisa Lau are good friends, so she ends up meeting Shaun. She helps Shaun recover his memories from those 24 hours; they later develop a subtle friendship. She has always had a crush on Shaun. She and Shaun are considered more than friends but not yet lovers.
- Max will play Yi Wan Si (伊雲思).
- Lisa will play 「豆豆」, Shaun's younger sister. She has a little psychological trauma. She quarrels with her sister-in-law, Grace.
- Amy Fan pursues John.
- Bowie Wu will play John's father-in-law.
- Pal Sinn will guest-star as a gang leader for three episodes in which the story will revolve around him, Roger, Shaun, and their contradictory experiences.
- Oscar Li, Kevin Tong, and Gary Tam will play kidnappers. They will do bad things to Shaun.
- Gary will play Yim Sing (炎星). He is also called 「揦鮓星」.
- Fei Wu will play Kenny, a veterinarian. He is Lisa's boyfriend.
- Eddie Pang will play Lam Tin Kwong (林天光). He, Martin Lau, and Lena Li are Pal's subordinates.
- Kelvin Yuen will play Kim, a designer. He is Shaun's assistant.
- Amisha Ng will play a nurse. She is a health care worker for animals.
- Derek Wong will play Ted So Tak Ching (蘇德正). He and Shaun opened a design company together.
- Sabrina Yeung will play 「Coco姐」.
- Keith Mok will play a detective constable.

Such a waste for Grace to be in another male-oriented series.... She probably became the female lead at the last minute, as she previously said that she originally had a series filming in October, but it had been delayed to December....
