Yesterday, Moses Chan, Charmaine Sheh, Kenneth Ma, Fala Chen, Linda Chung, Raymond Wong, Louis Yuen, Susanna Kwan, Selena Li, etc. attended the second promotional event for "Can't Buy Me Love" held at Olympian City. The first week of "Can't" averaged 33 points, and peaked at 38 points.

The series was aired during the Philippines bus hijack tragedy, so the cast and crew will not be celebrating anytime soon. The cast hopes that "Can't" will be able to bring laughs and happiness to the audience. They also hope that the people who have been affected by the tragedy can face the future bravely.

Personal Note: Ma Ming wasn't supposed to attend this promo event; however, TVB made him go. He and Fala left quickly after the event was over, as they had to continue filming "Female Fist".

During the event, the pairs were to come up with something to rhyme with "金家精神", followed with an action reflecting that saying.

Raymond's saying, "開開心心", didn't rhyme with "金家精神". How come Mui Siu Ching didn't make him come up with another one? They pretended to kiss, and Raymond lifted Linda.

Ha ha.... Moses took so long to come up with something to rhyme, but he then came up with "霹靂過人", which didn't really make sense. Moses then carried Charmaine on his back.

Ma Ming and Fala came up with "笑鬼死人", and then he and Fala laughed, causing others to laugh as well. Ha ha.... :D

- Charmaine Sheh will play Fa Lai Chu (花麗珠), nicknamed Sister Fa (花家姐), a tea restaurant delivery girl with the mental capacity of a ten-year-old. Although she has a mental disability, she does not give up on life. She takes care of her younger sister.
- Raymond Lam will play an unlikable, spoiled, rich guy who is very spendthrift. He is a playboy CEO, a loafer whose goal in life is to play. However, when he experiences being poor, he becomes an aspiring young man. He and Charmaine will have a romantic storyline, such that he will go from bullying her to developing feelings for her.
- Toby Leung will play Charmaine's younger sister. She works at Raymond's brand name enterprise. She gets picked on by Raymond, her superior; however, Charmaine will join the enterprise to defend for her. She will have a romantic storyline with Ngo Ka Nin. She is arrogant about the fact that Ngo Ka Nin likes her.
- Ngo Ka Nin will play Luk Ho Cheung (陸浩昌), Toby's superior. They were a couple in high school, but they broke up because of a misunderstanding. After they broke up, Toby joined his company. He really likes Toby, so he tries to pursue her again. Because he has cancer, he only has six months to live; thus, he does many things to make fast money for his family. However, when Toby is later pregnant with his baby, he changes into a good person. He and Raymond have been friends since they were young.
- Jazz Lam will play Charmaine's younger brother.
- Yoyo Chen will play Raymond's girlfriend who is a top model.
- Annie Chung will play Ngo Ka Nin's younger sister.
- Catherine Chau will play Charmaine's good friend who also has the mental capacity of a ten-year-old.
- Benjamin Yuen will play Raymond's rival. He will steal Yoyo away from Raymond.
- Kibby Lau will play Ngo Ka Nin's secretary.

Ruco Chan in "A Kindred Spirit"

Ruco Chan and Hawick Lau both graduated from TVB's 1994 Acting Class. The first series that I watched Ruco in was "To Love with Love", where he played Nadia Chan's younger brother.

In "A Kindred Spirit", Ruco played Hawick's friend, who went on a trip with him. When Hawick's character, On Jai, first appeared in the sixth episode of the series, I initially thought that Ruco was the one who was playing Cha Siu Bing's youngest son. Later, I found out that Lau Dan and Hawick are father and son in real life.

First Collaboration, Change of Opinion Toward Fala Chen: Kenneth Ma Highly Praises Cooking Skills

Kenneth Ma: "I always thought that these types of girls--why would they enter the kitchen?! They would not do this type of thing. They must have others cook for them. They just use their beauty. I thought she was that type. However, she is...."

Fala Chen: "You see me that way?"

Kenneth Ma: "Yeah, sorry. At first, I thought pretty girls are like that. However, after knowing Fala, she actually has such inner beauty. She is actually very good at cooking. Nowadays, very few girls know how to cook".

Mag Tse: "Has she ever cooked for you guys?"

Kenneth Ma: "She said that she would cook for me later".

Fala Chen: "I will".

Kenneth Ma: "So I like her even more".

Personal Note: Ma Ming really likes to praise his female co-stars! Ha ha.... Fala didn't get a chance to speak much, as Ma Ming kept praising her. :P Also, Ma Ming lifted Fala with such ease!

Fala will probably bring her dishes to the set of "Female Fist", as she did so for the crew of "No Regrets" as well.

Moses said earlier that he's drawing the line between him and Charmaine. In this clip, Charmaine made fun of him for saying that, as they still have to promote their series. Ha ha.... :D

Funny how Raymond taught Linda how to seduce him! Ha ha.... :D
