The "Detective Investigation Files" series has been re-airing late at night but is still being highly praised after 23 years. Producer Poon Ka Tak held a dinner gathering of the cast and crew. Many series actors, including Michael Tao, Kenix Kwok, Amy Kwok, Margaret Chung, Charmaine Sheh, Catherine Chau, Joe Ma, Derek Kwok, Gabriel Harrison, Maggie Chan, et al. were in attendance. [Michael and Kenix] frankly said that they have not seen each other in a long time, although they have previously encountered each other while doing stage performances in Mainland. Kenix frankly said that it was hard to come by; unknowingly, the series was already filmed 23 years ago.

Michael also provided a humourous explanation for 'che si' (car keys); he said, "Everyone also questioned me calling 'Jessie' by the wrong pronunciation. Said 'car keys' because she did not answer to 'Jessie'. Only answered to 'car keys'. Previously, [my] friends also followed along and called her that". Kenix said that it was all because of these 'car keys' that everyone had so many memories. Michael also said that this series finished airing its rerun on July 1st...also reluctant to let it go. He said, "Back then, the viewers really liked guessing whom the killer was, and there was also a hotline in which you could play a guess-the-killer game". When Kenix was asked whether she let her child watch this series, she said, "Would also. Would also let her watch it after studying!"

馬德鐘曾被指桃花旺盛，的確他入行至今總是緋聞不絕，幾乎合作過的女星都無一幸免。當然時間可證明一切，很多所謂的緋聞女友其實是他好友。由他論盡她們，當然最為貼切！

好多人都話我有個花名叫「花旦殺手」，其實陳豪都有呢個名o架！哈哈！講真，喺呢行只有兩樣嘢傳，一就係緋聞，二就係不和，咁我就好少同人傳不和嘅，咁咪傳緋聞囉！

蔡少芬善解人意

我 合作過嘅女演員都好多，例如有張可頤、宣萱、蔡少芬、佘詩曼、郭羨妮、陳慧珊等。講吓蔡少芬，佢係一個好好嘅學習對象，因為佢對人真係好好，令到身邊嘅人 好舒服，因為我自己本身係巨蟹座同埋做過警察，所以防衞性好高，所以呢行都冇乜朋友，係佢令我覺得其實都可以放開自己。

我仲記得有一次開早返廠拍劇，嗰時我住喺元朗，但唔知醒，當時我同佢拍緊劇，咁我咪即刻打畀佢，話自己唔知醒，依家飛車入嚟，蔡少芬聽到即刻話：「你千祈唔好飛車，我慢慢化妝拖住先。」臨收線仲問我食咗早餐未，佢就係一個咁好嘅人！

至 於阿佘，我同佢都拍過好幾套劇，第一套應該係2001年嘅《酒是故鄉醇》。啲人話佢成日放電電人，我自己同佢相處淨係覺得一樣嘢，佢好犀利，佢係唯一一個 我見過捱更抵夜、日夜顛倒但個樣係冇變冇殘嘅女演員！有時連續拍通宵，佢話好眼瞓，但佢個樣真係好精神，我諗佢應該係天生麗質，哈哈！

仲有阿佘嘅EQ係非常之高，脾氣好好，有時佢聽到啲唔係咁好嘅說話只會笑一笑，聽完就算，你唔會見到佢嬲，呢個係佢畀我一個好深刻嘅印象。而郭羨妮就係一個好吃得苦頭嘅人，嗰陣我哋喺內地拍劇幾個月，上面環境好辛苦，但佢一啲怨言都冇，性格相當硬朗。

拍 《衝上雲霄》做我老婆嘅陳慧珊，其實嚴格嚟講係我前輩。嗰陣時佢已經好紅，佢都有教我好多嘢。我記得拍《衝》劇第一場戲都幾親熱，佢話唔使介意，就將隻手 搭過嚟，咁我就放心。其實有時候拍親熱戲，男演員仲唔自然過女演員，始終男仔怕被人誤會，好似佢咁放，就會令你拍得好放心。

陶大宇及郭可盈日前敍舊，爆當年大家只差一步便能發展成為情侶。

陶：一張白紙先可吸收得最多！「高婕」個角色先可以如此自然演繹！

郭：其實我入行第一部劇《Catwalk俏佳人》都係同你合作，我處女作亦係畀咗你呢！緊接開咗三輯《刑》，第一輯我戇居居，第二輯就係徇眾要求開拍，因為當時好多觀眾睇完結局唔開心，要寫信去K-100投訴，當時監製潘嘉德特別設計結局，寫我失憶要離開，喺機場轉頭望住「大勇」…………之後完場，好多觀眾都好心痛！

陶：監製好聰明，如此設計就可以開第三輯！不過，第三輯我哋去北京外景，記得你好慘…………肚屙！天氣凍至零下十多廿度，你又要做兩個角色，場場都有你，我又愛莫能助！

郭：幫到我嘅只有「止屙藥」！我記得有一朝早要出外景，但我肚屙，你仲叩門問我係咪唔舒服……不過，都捱過咗。

陶：辛苦都值得，十幾年後，依家返內地工作演出，好多觀眾仲記得「大勇」、「高婕」這對經典組合！

經典情侶難得咁夾

郭：我倆絕對係經典情侶，你係我經典拍檔！我哋嗰種「夾」，唔係指人靚，其實靚人呢個圈好多，但要相襯就唔多，我同你嘅配對真係好「受」！最初我面對你嘅感覺，有兩種Feel，一種係大哥哥，好有耐性教我，另一種係大明星！

陶：大明星？你講真？我覺得自己當年仲戇居居！

郭：點戇居？你入行已一段時間，你係我拍過嘅男演員最深刻嘅一個，簡直陪我成長！

陶：我都經歷過「白紙」年代，不過可盈你好聰明，吸收快、戰鬥力強，又有一種不忿氣性格！你試過喺我面前喊，我知你非易喊嘅人，你有呢個表現，證明你對我信任！

郭：係呀！我好硬頸！我記得當年為咗被屈遲到嘅事，其實有錯我一定認，嗰次後我倆感情邁進一大步。

陶：有好多人問，我倆日對夜對點會唔「撻着」？

郭：照正來說，應該會！哈哈……我仲記得我倆都有緋聞，既然演得情侶，嗰時我倆未婚，但始終都冇「撻着」，我諗因為我當時太專注工作，忙讀劇本，連補妝都無時間，所以無留意身邊呢位俊男而錯過了！但我估你應該對我有遐想啩？

郭：就係欠呢一點點啦……不過，我有記憶我倆曾經相約睇戲！我記得拍《Catwalk》時，睇《侏羅紀公園》！嗰次係我約你……點解你會應約？

陶：冇咩特別就應約啦！睇戲都唔代表咩，睇完戲就Bye　Bye，冇下文！不過記得拍《青出於藍》時，一場廚房戲我曾經問你，如果我當初（指拍《刑》）「溝」你估會點呢？

郭：我都記得……拍《刑》時你都問過我呢條問題，但我當時同文龍拍拖尚未公開，我記得你仲問我，如果唔係文龍已出現，唔知你會唔會有機會？

陶：你當時點答？

郭：我話：「唔知呢？」但最後你都冇追我，證明你冇爭取！不過，你知我性格係點，跟你一樣都係「凸」，一齊就如火星撞地球，如果真係一齊，我相信會唔開心收場！

陶：我倆能夠有今日嘅和諧關係，證明當初我決定係冇錯，唔係依家可能反面！依家大家再見面，可以緬懷當時一齊捱、一齊攞獎（情侶組合）嘅美好回憶！

Kenix should be referring to the second installment's cliffhanger ending (didn't know that viewers wrote complaints to "K-100" back then...miss this programme's exclusive coverage). The ending of part two was definitely very memorable (i.e., Tai Yung yelling, "Jesse, if you remember me, come back!")...I remember being very immersed when watching it, telling Jesse to turn back.

Ha ha.... Kenix said that she and Michael have the same personality in real life, so it wouldn't work out; however, Jesse and Tai Yung are also of the same personality (both are strong-headed, loyal in love, and righteous), but they are the perfect onscreen pairing! :D Definitely a well-loved classic couple...my favourite onscreen pairing of all-time! :D

Kenix Kwok Using Double Milk Formula to Make Daughter Into Zucchini Person

Daughter Tin Yeuk is chubby and extremely cute because of Kenix's double milk formula.

Kenix occasionally speaks to her daughter using English words, so she will learn it early.

Kenix Kwok gave birth to Frankie Lam's daughter, Lam Tin Yeuk (Tania), in the beginning of the year. Her daughter is now over three months old, and weighs over 18 pounds. Her hands and feet are round and chubby just like a cute 'Zucchini Person'. Kenix has been breastfeeding and also giving her daughter powdered milk to increase her weight. However, Kenix emphasized that her daughter is not overweight. She also expressed that her daughter has Frankie's eyes, and she resembles Kenix when she is sleeping. She said, "Her expressions are different every day. I do not want to miss any opportunities of not seeing every expression, so my camera is by my side every day. (Is your daughter easy to take care of?) She sleeps right after she's done eating. (Would you want another one?) Yes! But, there is no hurry. I will leave it up to fate".

Today is Mother's Day, and Kenix will be celebrating with her mother. She said, "It was my mother who reminded me, so I am able to experience the feeling of being a mother. I am going to have supper with my mother, daughter, husband Frankie, and my entire family. (What would you like to receive as a gift?) I will be most happy with a healthy daughter".

Personal Note: Ah, so Tin Yeuk's English name is Tania. She is very pretty and chubby! It's so cute how she is kissing Kenix! :D

Frankie Lam Names Daughter's Chinese Name 「天若」

Frankie Lam and Kenix Kwok became parents in January, and the two were overjoyed about having a daughter. Frankie accepted a radio interview from Cha Siu Yan yesterday, and he revealed that he has named his daughter 'Lam Tin Yeuk' (林天若). He said, "It is 'Tin Yeuk' as in 'if heaven has feelings'. I think it sounds nice, and it is tender, and not many people has this name".

Frankie admits that he is the loving father type, and he cannot stand to see his daughter cry. He will instantly go to her and soothe her. Frankie said, "The previous day, I went out and returned home later in the day. Kenix told me that she was crying. Kenix allowed her to cry for 45 minutes, and told me not to to feel painful after hearing it". When asked if Kenix would be jealous of Frankie loving their daughter so much, Frankie said, "No, as they are both my babies". Frankie laughingly said that, one day, he told his daughter that, when she grows up and goes to a Christmas party, all she has to do is tell him, and he will not bother her. However, he will watch her from afar to make sure everything is okay. (Did Kenix laugh at you for being ill after hearing this?) Frankie said, "I am just worried that my daughter will be deceived".

Socialize with 'Shrimp Dumpling Boy' When Grown Up

Kelly Chen once told her son 'Shrimp Dumpling Boy' to pursue Frankie's daughter. Frankie said, "We must allow the next generation to have their freedom to develop. 'Shrimp Dumpling Boy' is very adorable, so we will have to wait until they grow up to see if there is a chance for them to socialize. Then we will know whether 'If Heaven has Shrimp Dumpling' is possible!"

Kenix Kwok and BB Leave Hospital

Summary:

Kenix Kwok gave birth to 7 lb. baby daughter on the 14th. Yesterday, husband Frankie Lam picked them up from the hospital. Frankie was rather nervous, and he made sure that the reporters did not use flash when taking pictures.

Kenix still looks very fit after giving birth, but she would like to slim her waist, stomach, and hip. Slimming companies have contacted her, but she has not decided whether to accept or not. Kenix expressed that her level of happiness of being a mother is very difficult to describe. She said, "Every day, I keep thinking about how the baby looks. Even if it is 12am, I would still page the nurse to bring the baby in to let me see her face. (What's it like carrying the baby?) It is very realistic! The baby's eyes and nose resemble Frankie, and her lips resemble mine! (Are you going to have another one?) It's thinkable! But, it cannot be too long in the future. It doesn't matter if it is a boy or girl!" Kenix thanked Frankie for taking care of her so thoughtfully. Frankie quickly said, "It's what I'm supposed to do!" The couple was very sweet.

Kenix Kwok and Frankie Lam Welcome Baby Girl

Congratulations to Kenix and Frankie, as Kenix gave birth to a healthy 7 lb. 4 oz. baby girl yesterday (January 14)!

Frankie expressed that Kenix is recovering very well after the giving birth, and the doctor has praised Kenix, as her recovery process is quicker than the common mother. (Did you cry when your daughter was born?) Frankie said, "When Kenix was pregnant, I had read many books to prepare for the arrival of our new born. When the baby's expected arrival date was getting closer, Kenix said to me that she would miss the baby in her belly, as she felt that the baby was a part of her body. That kind of feeling was very profound. I accompanied her into the delivery room, and when I saw our daughter for the first time, the feeling was very great and mysterious. It gave me the feeling that nothing is more important than the birth of a baby. My baby and my wife are irreplaceable". (Have you chosen a name for the baby yet?) Frankie said, "We are still deciding on the name as the physiognomist has provided many characters for us to choose from, but it is not easy picking out a pleasant-sounding name".

For the next two months, Frankie has turned down filming projects, as he will be focusing on taking care of Kenix and their daughter. He will only take on jobs that require one or two days to finish. Frankie indicated that he and Kenix would like to add a younger brother for her daughter, but it will depend on Kenix's bodily health.

Kenix Kwok Is Four Months Pregnant

Summary:

After the press conference of Kenix Kwok's Mainland manager blackmailing case, Mr. and Mrs. Lam did not make any more public appearances. The couple had promised Ming Pao Weekly that they would explain the situation.

Kenix revealed to Ming Pao Weekly that she is four months pregnant. She and Frankie have planned to have a baby after she finished filming TVB's "Born Rich" at the end of April. Once the press conference was held, Kenix and Frankie went on vacation to Malaysia and Singapore, which lasted a half of a month. It was after they returned to Hong Kong that she found out she was pregnant.

Frankie said that his level of happiness and excitement cannot be explained by words.

Kenix emphasized that she would not be retiring. She also added that she has gained eight pounds because of the pregnancy.

The couple does not know the sex of the baby, and would be happy with either a boy or a girl.

Personal Note: Congratulations to Kenix and Frankie! Kenix looks very healthy with the weight gain. I am very happy for them, especially for Kenix because she will finally become a mother! :) I am also happy that the blackmailing incident did not affect them, and that they have grown stronger because of it. :)

Kenix Kwok @ 1996 Next TV Awards Number 2

This is from 1996's Next TV Awards presented by Next Magazine. Kenix was voted number two because of the popularity of "Detective Investigation Files".

She was already the female lead in her first series. Kenix Kwok has a stable position. Sitting at 'Dong Ka Fa Dan', Kenix's progress in television can be said to be 'smooth sailing'. However, she is still not satisfied. "I know I am really fortunate, but I seem to be missing something compared to others. Thus, I hope to film more great series and try different approaches. For example, I'm interested in movies and singing".

Kenix believes that her life's turning point was when she changed careers from being an insurance agent. Being an insurance agent had made her become more extroverted and more initiating. "I really like acting with my innermost feelings. It allows me to portray different people with different moods. It is very interesting, but right now, I want to try to act in a comedy series the most. I really want to see if I can do it!"

As for her win, Kenix informed her mother to let her share this joy together. "After receiving the award, I will place it at home. This is my first honour!"

Kenix Kwok - Espresso

A properly brewed espresso has three major parts: the heart, the body, and the most distinguishing factor, the presence of crema, which is the foam of the surface. Flora Chan - Cappuccino

A cup of cappuccino is made with espresso coffee, hot milk, and milk foam. A typical cup of cappuccino is served in a six-ounce cup. Milk is such an important ingredient in a cup of cappuccino. Flora's 人緣 and 觀眾緣 are great representatives of milk. When Flora first started acting, she was very much 'in house' and accepted by the audience from around the world. Her modesty and ability to play professional roles have stabilized her position as a fa dan in audiences' hearts. Plus, Flora is shorter and smaller than the other fa dans.

Jessica Hsuan - Latte

Latte is prepared with one-third espresso and two-thirds milk. It has more milk than a cappucino and has a milder and milkier taste. Just like Flora, Jessica is very loved by the audience. The difference between the two of them is that Jessica's acting is more natural and smooth.

Ada Choi - Mocha

A mocha is just like a latte. It contains one-third espresso and two-thirds milk, but a shot of chocolate is added. Ada has always captured audiences' hearts no matter if it is her personality or her acting. The only difference that separates mocha from cappuccino and latte is the chocolate. In this case, it would have to Ada's ability to play evil roles.

Maggie Cheung Ho Yee - Flat White

A flat white is also very much like a latte. It is made from one-third espresso and two-thirds milk; however, it only has a very thin layer of foam at the top. Maggie is an extremely straightforward person, and she carries a serious attitude toward work. Maggie has a disadvantage due to her personality. At times she may be too blunt, but she is just being honest.

Baby Kenix

Kenix Kwok Ho Ying

"Hi, everybody! I am Kenix Kwok Ho Ying. I was born on November 27, 1970. I participated in Miss Hong Kong Pageant back in 1993. Even though I was a hot favourite to win, I was placed 3rd runner-up (4th place) and took home the 'Most Potential in Acting Award'. In the following year, I presented the same award to Maggie Cheung Ho Yee, and the next year the award was discontinued. The first series I filmed for TVB was "Catwalk俏佳人" in 1993, which co-starred Michael Tao. Michael and I have worked together 6 times. We were once given the titles of 'Best Onscreen Couple' and 'Best Couple' by the media. Ha ha!

In 1995, I met Frankie Lam on the set of "Down Memory Lane", and on March 10th, 2004, we got married. Frankie is a wonderful husband. He can tolerate others very well because his EQ is very high. He really knows how to compromise with others as well. I really do learn a lot from him.

Throughout my years in TVB, I have met a bunch of great friends. They include Christine Ng, Annie Man, Michael Tao, Melissa Ng, Flora Chan, Bobby Au Yeung, etc. Although I have left TVB's big family to explore Mainland China to further my career, I hope one day to return and film more high-rated series".

Personal Note: I really thought Kenix was going to win first place in 1993's Miss HK, but instead she got 4th place, and Mariane Chan was just behind her in 5th place. Kenix is a great actress. Her crying skills are unbelievable. When she cries, it is so powerful and sad; it makes me want to cry, too.
