Kenneth Ma Receives Praises from All Around

Kenneth Ma TVB Blog: 冇錢又冇料!!

- Lau Siu Ming (Ming Sir) says that Kenneth is very clever! He does not leave the set when he is off work. He watches people act, he processes everything, and then he analyzes everything that he's seen.

- Ming Sir talks about when he filmed "The Master of Tai Chi" in Hunan with Kenneth. One time, when they were on break, they went to a very inexpensive place to eat. He asked him, "Why do you eat so inexpensively?" Kenneth said, "I have to save money to give it back to my mom!" Ming Sir comments that Kenneth always thinks that he doesn't have enough, not just in terms of material things, but also ability [in acting], so he always gathers information. Ming Sir says that Kenneth is complex and not as simple as he seems.

- Ming Sir says that Kenneth does not admit to having some results in his acting career.

- When the topic was on Gallen Lo and Sharon Chan's kiss scene, Kenneth admitted to going to the set to watch even when he does not have to work. Even Jaime Chik said that Kenneth is really good because he is on set whether he has scenes to film or not. Then the interviewer said that Kenneth's ears are turning red, but he explains, "I just intentionally went in to watch them kiss!"

(Kathy Chow has also mentioned a number of times that Kenneth is a good role model. She says that he is very hardworking, and he really puts his heart into acting. On the first day of outdoor filming of "In the Chamber of Bliss", even though Kenneth wasn't in the scene, he was watching the playback with the other artistes.)

- Ming Sir says that Kenneth is a good influence on others such that it makes them want to work hard, too.

Personal Note: Ming Sir did not know Kenneth's full name because he just refers to him as 'Ma Ming'. Ming Sir wanted to praise him using his full name. The interviewer even said that Kenneth is very hardworking such that he has a notebook to remind him of things such as the clothes he wears in different scenes.

Ma Ming again said that great actors 'put money in his pocket and don't ask for change'.

Ming Sir also praised Joe Ma, saying that he has reached a certain level of acting, and that Joe can act. He also said that Joe is hardworking such that he also likes to watch others act.

Personal Note: The sub song sounds sooooo good! The melody is strong such that it sounds like a theme song, but the lyrics are a bit difficult to remember (thus, perfect as a sub song). Kay is awesome! I can't wait for Gallen's theme song! :)

The DJ didn't talk as much as he did for "Beyond the Realm of Conscience". Maybe he doesn't know much about the plot for "Born Rich". That's good because I don't want to hear him talk and ruin the song. Ha ha.... :)

Personal Note: The music sounds really nice in the second promo clip. I can't wait for the theme song. It is going to be great! It has been a long time since TVB has actually used such big series to be the anniversary series. Awesome! Both "Beyond the Realm of Conscience" and "Born Rich" better not disappoint me. I don't care about ratings, as long as the script is well-written, as that will do for me.

Sophisticated banker CHEUK YAT YUEN (Lui Leung Wai) mistakes con artist SA FU LOI (Lo Ka Leung) for his half brother CHEUK YAT MING, fortuitously elevating the swindler to one of the leading figures in the banking industry. The lost and found brotherhood has blinded YUEN to FU's real nature and intentions.

YUEN is kidnapped overseas by a group of rioters. He undergoes a dramatic personality change after the incident. YUEN's wife HO TSEUK NIN (Chik Mei Chun) has tried her best to console him but still cannot help him get over the unpleasant experience. Longing for more comfort and support, YUEN gets back with his ex-lover TUNG LING CHI (Kwok Ho Ying). NIN is heartbroken to learn about the affair and it has left the broken mirror that can't be mended.

The identity of CHEUK YAT MING gives FU not only a sense of family warmth but also a sweet taste of romance. He finds himself in love with YUEN's little sister CHEUK YAT SUM (Yuen Wing Yi). SUM is attracted to FU too but thinking that they are true biological siblings, she decides to keep her love under wraps and stays with her long-term admirer KO TOK MAN (Ma Tak Chung) instead. This comes as a huge blow to FU. He is not willing to lose his love, but neither can he reveal his real identity. Caught up in the dilemma between love and money, FU finally chooses the fortune road of no return.

It is all about a tough battle for money, a devious triangle of love, and a severe challenge to ethics.

銀行家卓一元（呂良偉）錯認老千沙富來（羅嘉良）為同父異母的弟弟卓一鳴，扶植他成為銀行界舉足輕重的一員。在親情的蒙蔽下，一元未能認清富來包藏禍心，以致養虎為患。
