Venus Wong Levels Up to First Female Lead, Romancing Pakho Chau

Artiste Venus Wong will be acting as the first female lead in TVB's new series, and the role has high moldability, pushing her to take on the difficult challenge. She has recently received a tailor-made role from a TVB series crew. In the new series "The Spectator", which starts filming next month, she will act as a policewoman who is sensitive to outside sounds and lights and shadows. She uses this gift to solve murder cases, and the deeper the investigation, the more suppressed her inner emotions are.
It is reported that, this time, Venus has won over Jinny Ng and Shiga Lin, who are also taking part in "The Spectator", to appear as the first female lead, developing a romantic storyline with the male lead, Pakho Chau, who is acting as a restaurant manager. This is also Pakho's return to the series scene since filming "Wonder Women" in 2019; no wonder he seems quite nervous and has already recently begun to do his homework in seclusion. The Kingdom of Gor Lin San is a kingdom of women's rights supremacy. The tough Jeannie is not willing to marry the weak prince, so she decides to go kill him. Unexpectedly, the two accidentally lose their memories, and they end up living in the Seven Kingdoms' 'no king ruling' town of Sau Chan (首振鎮). The town of Sau Chan is a martial arts world with masters everywhere; it is a place with hidden talent, and even the market vendors have special skills. He has a slight rivalry with Bosco; they have known each other since they were young, but they slowly become in opposition. He has romantic storylines with Mandy and Nancy. He has a lot of scenes with his adoptive mother, Candy Lo.
- Vincent will play Wai Kai Ming (韋繼明), a Senior Inspector of Police in the Organized Crime and Triad Bureau (OCTB) who goes all out and risks his life. He is very dirty and slovenly. He is a gloomy character with a bit of a dark side. He is responsible for most of the action scenes. He has a lot of scenes with Bosco; if there are any affairs of the heart, he can only talk to Bosco about them.
- Shaun Tam will play Cheung Yiu Cho (章耀祖), the most senior ICAC investigator. He has a part in playing matchmaker for Bosco and Sisley. He frequently plays tricks on Bosco. He has fewer case investigation scenes; his scenes are rather lighthearted and humourous. He is Poon Chi Man's son.
- Nancy will play To Man (屠敏), a group chairperson. She is a career woman who has to wear a prosthetic leg due to losing her leg in a building collapse accident. The fact that she has a prosthetic leg is a secret. The story talks about tenement buildings in Sai Wan being forcibly made to collapse by real estate developers; those few children experienced an accident, and she lost her leg, so she has to wear a prosthetic leg. Her goal is to get justice. She is Bosco's elder sister. She, Ron, Mandy, and Vincent are friends. She is also called 「屠老闆」.
- Mandy will play Fong Ka Ching (方家晴), who works at a cabaret in Temple Street.
- Sisley Choi will play Lai Hiu San (黎曉山), a funny and lively ICAC investigator who eases the tension of the entire team's atmosphere. - Bosco will play Lok Chi Fung (洛子峰) a Chief Investigator of the ICAC who is responsible for investigating cases and tracking. After being separated and reuniting, he and Ron can no longer go back even though they want to; thus, they do not have many scenes together. He investigates Ron's family. He has something with Mandy and Sisley. He has a crush on Mandy, but she likes Ron. He has emotional blunting; he gets proactively pursued by Sisley. He and Sisley are a couple.
- Ron will play Cheuk Yi Fan (卓以凡), a rich second generation lawyer who is both good and evil. He is a slight antagonist who often makes sense of false reasoning. He uses money to solve his problems. He has a slight rivalry with Bosco; they have known each other since they were young, but they slowly become in opposition. He has romantic storylines with Mandy and Nancy. He has a lot of scenes with his adoptive mother, Candy Lo.
- Vincent will play Wai Kai Ming (韋繼明), a Senior Inspector of Police in the Organized Crime and Triad Bureau (OCTB) who goes all out and risks his life. He is very dirty and slovenly. He is a gloomy character with a bit of a dark side. He is responsible for most of the action scenes. He has a lot of scenes with Bosco; if there are any affairs of the heart, he can only talk to Bosco about them.
- Shaun Tam will play Cheung Yiu Cho (章耀祖), the most senior ICAC investigator. He has a part in playing matchmaker for Bosco and Sisley. He frequently plays tricks on Bosco. He has fewer case investigation scenes; his scenes are rather lighthearted and humourous. He is Poon Chi Man's son.
- Nancy will play To Man (屠敏), a group chairperson. She is a career woman who has to wear a prosthetic leg due to losing her leg in a building collapse accident. The fact that she has a prosthetic leg is a secret. The story talks about tenement buildings in Sai Wan being forcibly made to collapse by real estate developers; those few children experienced an accident, and she lost her leg, so she has to wear a prosthetic leg. Her goal is to get justice. She is Bosco's elder sister. She, Ron, Mandy, and Vincent are friends. She is also called 「屠老闆」.
- Mandy will play Fong Ka Ching (方家晴), who works at a cabaret in Temple Street.
- Sisley Choi will play Lai Hiu San (黎曉山), a funny and lively ICAC investigator who eases the tension of the entire team's atmosphere. She was a personal bodyguard for an important figure in the US, and she knows Brazilian ju-jitsu and taekwondo. She mainly has interactions with Bosco. Her appearance is to irritate Bosco, and to enlighten him at the same time. She and Bosco both had some bad experiences; she has let go, whereas he has not, so her appearance would cause him to slowly let go. She proactively pursues Bosco, and his mother really wants them to be together. She and Bosco have a sweet couple relationship; their bed scene is shot with a humourous effect.
- Lin Xia Wei will make a special appearance as Ann Chow Pui On (周佩安), a chief investigator of the ICAC. She is single in the series.
- Jacky Cai will play Vani, Nancy's right-hand woman. She is Nancy's partner in the workplace and bestie. They have some big plans, so she assists the big bosses in carrying out the big plans. She silently guards Nancy, having an ambiguous relationship. She is a cooler and quieter character who is sharp at work.
- Ben Wong will play Cheuk Yin Kwong (卓延光), a wealthy businessman with a triads background. He is a major antagonist. He is slightly arrogant and has his own method of survival. He went from being a lowly citizen to having his own kingdom, so he has his own beliefs. He believes that, as long as you cannot arrest him, then things are favourable for him. He gets arrested many times, but he cannot get caught. He and Candy are a pair who does whatever it takes to protect their family. He and Ron are father and son.

- Matthew Ko will play Sing (㫒).
- Kelly Fu will play Wan Joi Si (尹在詩).
- Joey Thye will play 「小黃」, a serious and professional character. She is Bosco's subordinate.
- Eva Lai will play Ngai Po Kwan (倪寶群), a mother who values males above females, so the daughter feels that she only loves the younger brother. She is the mother of Nancy and Bosco.

It requires living, working, and doing good deeds to accumulate points. If the score is enough, one rises to the third dimension, and so on...up to the ninth dimension. - Hubert will play Chan Bak Ho (陳北河), a takeout delivery person. He is a mortal who gets surrounded by a bad spirit. He is very miserable and unhappy all the time. His melancholic personality and a bad family environment make him feel that living is hell. On the contrary, people in the second dimension are happier, simpler, and more open-minded. When his bad spirit, Erica, sees how miserable he is, pity turns into love, and the bad spirit falls in love with the mortal. He and Erica have a restrained, accidental kiss.
- Erica will play Poon Siu Yu (潘小渝), a tragic person. She has a kind and cute aura. There is a rule for the second dimension bad spirits: they cannot let the mortals know that the second dimension exists. The love story of the male and female leads is dependent on her using a way to violate a prohibition of falling in love in the first dimension. There are scenes where Mark Ma teaches her how to prank Hubert.
- Mark will play a top-level bad spirit. He loves to build his happiness on the suffering of others the most. He flirts with every female.
- Mayanne Mak will play Bau Sau Yuk (包秀玉), who is already dead, talking about how one returns to the first dimension, which is the dimension that we are in now. She is a bad spirit who often has a displeased look. She is also called 「包包」.
