- The series is a crazy and modern ancient comedy. The background of the story is set in an extremely chaotic made-up era. In order to match the background of the story, apart from convenience stores, karaokes, and even the trade descriptions ordinance, the producer has also requested for the dialogue to be colloquial and for the actors to perform in a more modern manner.
- Chow Ka Lok will play Kei Wai (紀威), the useless fourth prince of the Kingdom of Pak Sing (百勝國) who is not favoured in the Seung Mo (尚武) family. Everyone treats him like an unimportant person, and he is also called 「阿四」. He is sensitive to smells, has a frail body and asthma, and frequently recites poems. He has romantic storylines with Jeannie Chan and JW. He has been arranged to have a diplomatic relationship with Jeannie, a princess of the Kingdom of Gor Lin San (歌蓮神國). The Kingdom of Gor Lin San is a kingdom of women's rights supremacy. The tough Jeannie is not willing to marry the weak prince, so she decides to go kill him. Unexpectedly, the two accidentally lose their memories, and they end up living in the Seven Kingdoms' 'no king ruling' town of Sau Chan (首振鎮). The town of Sau Chan is a martial arts world with masters everywhere; it is a place with hidden talent, and even the market vendors have special skills. Among the many masters, only Chow Ka Lok does not know martial arts; however, he is a witty guy who has seen a lot of power struggles in the palace, so he uses his ability and wisdom to assist Hugo Ng in going against the major powers in the town. He and Jeannie are a bickering pair; they have comedic intimate scenes, and she often resorts to violence toward him. He frequently gets bullied by Jeannie; he relies on his wisdom to suppress her. He and Brian Chu have a brotherhood.
- Jeannie has three identities: Princess Nap Hak Wan Yau (納克溫柔), who is a bickering pair with Chow Ka Lok; Man Yi (蠻儀) is the name she uses after she loses her memory; and the other is Cheung Wing Hong's first love, who is the younger version of May Chan's character. She is a general-like character. She and Chow Ka Lok rely on each other through thick and thin due to having lost their memories. The kingdom attaches the most importance to women's rights and would look down on men, so she frequently bullies Chow Ka Lok.
- Brian will play Kau Chin Do (裘千刀), a martial arts addict. He is the best at kung fu. He will be both good and evil in the latter part of the series, having a lot of action scenes. He and JW are godsiblings who later have a romantic storyline; it is a puppy love, so there are no intimate scenes.
- JW will play Fok Siu Mui (霍小妹), an escort. She is good at feeling a pulse.
- Hugo will play Kau Yung (裘勇), the first-in-command of an escort agency.
- Raymond Cho will play Fok Ching San (霍青山), the second-in-command of an escort agency. He is JW's father.
- Cheung Wing Hong will play Fan Chong Lung (范壯龍). His first love returns to the town of Sau Chan after studying in a foreign place, in which Jeannie unexpectedly becomes May.
- Mayanne Mak will play Mo Seung (無雙), the madam of a brothel with many kinds of appearances and mannerisms. She appears to be weak but is actually a martial arts expert. She is very cool. She pursues Hugo; she has to seduce him.
- Aurora Li will play San Yuen Yuen (辛圓圓), a wealthy person. She and Wai Ka Hung are a married couple.
- Stephen Wong will play Kei Yeung (紀揚), the third prince.
- Derek Wong will play two characters: one is upright, while the other is the evil emperor's teacher.
- Frankie Choi will play Ng Chok (伍作), the person in charge of the yamen.
- Eileen Yeow will play 「瘋四娘」
- Sandy Leung will play Hung Chu (紅硃), the chief famous courtesan.
- Eunice Chan will play Luk Si (綠綾).
- Krysella Wong will play Lam Sa (藍紗).
- Sandy To will play Chi Law (紫羅).
- Bonnie Lui will play Bat Kiu (八嬌).
- Angela Lam will play Bik Ching (碧澄).
- Yanyan Chan will play Pak Ying (白凝), a famous courtesan.
- Fung So Bor will play the Empress Dowager. She mainly has scenes with Anderson Junior and Jeannie.
- Alan Tam will play Seung Sing (常勝).
- Baby Bo will play Chuk (粥).
- Mikako Leung will play Fan (粉).
- Amisha Ng will play Min (麵), a village person.
- Athena Ng will play Fan (飯).
- Joan Lee will play Yu Yin (如煙).
- Matthew Chan will play a prince.
- Deborah Poon will play Sung Piu Piu (宋飄飄).
- Stephanie Lee will play Fan Doi (粉黛).
- Roxanne Ho will play Ling Yi (鈴兒).
