TVB Announces Live Ratings

The ratings report from May 24th to May 30th has been released. This time's ratings report has a breakthrough development in that there is no longer a 'lag'. It is truly last week's live ratings; not only TVB, but the ratings of ViuTV and Hong Kong TV are also being announced.

"Sinister Beings" [episodes 16-20] recorded 23.1 points. The newly broadcasted "Final Destiny" had 19.2 points.

TVB Announces New Calculation Method for Ratings

TVB announced that, starting from January 2018, ratings will have a new calculation method. In response to viewers' lifestyle changes, with the habits of watching TV not only being dependent on the TV, as different media, such as mobile phones, tablets, computers, set-top boxes, etc. being used, TVB is changing its old ratings calculation method to the 'seven-day cross-platform consolidated ratings'. The new calculation method will be able to show the consolidated ratings of programmes more accurately. The 'seven-day cross-platform consolidated ratings' calculation method includes daily TV ratings, myTV SUPER live ratings, and myTV SUPER seven-day viewing ratings.

TVB announced the 'seven-day cross-platform consolidated ratings' from January 1st to January 7th. For the ratings of the three prime time series, "Lo and Behold" had 23.5 points, "My Ages Apart" had 26.1 points, and "Heart and Greed" had 25 points.

TVB announced that, starting from August 12th, it will be announcing the 'consolidated ratings' on the first work day of every week, which are calculated from TV ratings and 'online ratings' (with the calculation of tvb.com and mobile ratings included).

Many of the news sources messed up because "Survivor's Law II" is eighth, while "A Journey Called Life" is ninth overall. Although both series had the same 29.7 ratings average and the same percentage of viewership, "Survivor's" peaked at 37 points, while "Journey" peaked at 35 points.

《師奶兵團》07 收視 No.1

2007年無線最威水劇集一定非《溏心風暴》莫屬，「大契」李司棋金句，「細契」關菊英爭產毒招連發，看得觀眾咬牙切齒，掀起全城追看熱潮，大結局最高收 視達46點，近300萬觀眾收看。不過論全劇平均收視，卻敗於《師奶兵團》及《爸爸閉翳》手上，只能屈居第三位，實在美中不足。

歸咎落敗原因，主要是《溏心風暴》長達40集，播映初期收視未見高開，直至中段熱潮爆發才令收視持續上揚，因此計算平均收視時較輸蝕。相比《師奶兵團》與《爸爸閉翳》分別21集及25集較集中，且開播後迅速贏得口碑，形成優勢。

210萬觀眾追捧《師奶》

鄧萃雯、商天娥、葉童主演的《師奶兵團》道盡師奶心聲，深得家庭觀眾喜愛，雯女與娥姐成功塑造草根師奶形象，演技備受讚賞，可惜與獎項無緣。《師奶》全劇平均收視32.4，觀眾人數約210萬，最高42點。

夏雨兩劇入三甲爭口氣

夏雨在《溏心風暴》演的「大鮑」亦深入民心，但同樣飲恨於台慶頒獎禮，眼白白看籲「細鮑」陳豪做雙料視帝，心裏多少有點不是味兒。幸好《爸爸閉翳》為他爭一口氣，騎住《溏心風暴》佔據最高收視劇集第2位，平均收視32.3，觀眾人數約209萬，最高39點。
40集《溏心》計平均收視輸蝕

位列第3位的《溏心》是今年熱爆劇集，一股「溏心熱潮」銳不可擋！「大契」連番金句功不可沒，市民隨口念出「邊個係人邊個係鬼，我睇得出！」、「呢度唔係 法庭，唔需要證據，我對眼就係證據！」，關菊英唱的主題曲《講不出聲》亦大熱。上月無線台慶頒獎禮，李司棋、關菊英與陳豪包辦男女主角大獎，還有最佳劇 集，認真威水。

其他十大高收視劇集還有第4位，由林文龍、郭可盈夫妻檔合演的《十兄弟》；雖然是翻拍昔日粵劇片題材兼且被無線放置多時的倉底貨，但意外地獲得大批觀眾捧 場，平均收視31.3，觀眾人數約202萬。第5位是緋聞男女陶大宇、郭羨妮主演的《學警出更》，有指他們的負面形象拖累劇集，令收視比預期差。

鄭嘉穎黎姿《寫意人生》包尾

至於全年收視包尾劇集，是由06年視帝鄭嘉穎與04年視后黎姿合演的《寫意人生》，平均收視26.6，觀眾人數約172萬。第2及第3位收視差劇集，分別是鍾嘉欣與謝天華的《迎妻接福》，以及馬德鐘與郭羨妮的《爭霸》。

《女人唔易做》平均33點領風騷 06年十大收視劇集

雖然消費娛樂愈來愈多姿多采，但無線、亞視兩台提供的免費電視娛樂仍是大部分香港市民的娛樂，周一至五的黃金時段劇集部分更逾二百萬觀眾捧場，其中有話題 劇掀社會熱話，以收視排第一位的《女人唔易做》姊弟戀與不婚媽媽的題目，真正緊貼了社會步伐，贏得觀眾共鳴。平均收視33點(觀眾人數212萬)，最高收 視點41點。

《法證》第二《神鵰》第三

口碑是劇集的重要宣傳，現在除了在寫字樓、茶樓或街市等地方聽到觀眾對劇集的議論，網上的討論區是重要的推動。劇集反應好與壞評論，或抄襲雷同被網友發覺，
皆無所遁形。

平均收視點高達32.7，結局篇最高收視達43點(觀眾人數276萬)的《法證先鋒》，收視排行榜佔第二位。劇集以法證部為故事背景，透過高科技蒐集證據 破案，對香港觀眾而言有一定吸引力；雖然珠玉在前，美國早已有大受歡迎的《C.S.I》系列，但這部港版《C.S.I》挺有新鮮感。不過，在《法》劇播映 期間橋段被指抄襲《C.S.I》或嫌案情犯駁也引起觀眾議論紛紛，愈多人講收視亦愈高，明年《法》劇更會開拍續集。

內地製作劇集《神鵰俠侶》掀高潮，收視排第三位，平均32.1收視點，最高達41點收視；兩位主角黃曉明與劉亦菲的人氣在香港更大大_升。

《火舞》《肥田》雷聲大雨點小

排第四位《愛情全保》與第五位《潮爆大狀》也是小品式題材，沒有雷聲大的宣傳；但收視卻比重頭劇《火舞黃沙》、《鳳凰四重奏》或《肥田囍事》收視更高，有 些收視情_是你估佢唔到！為佘詩曼贏得台慶頒獎禮「最佳女主角」的《鳳凰四重奏》，跨越四個不同時代背景，阿佘演四個不同年代的女性，此劇收視排第六位。

數輸得甚慘的是第八位《火舞黃沙》與第九位《肥田囍事》，皆有雷聲大雨點小的情_，收視不成正比。《火舞黃沙》集多位首席小生、花旦，還有幕後的黃金陣 容，可惜給觀眾留下深印象只是黃沙滾滾與偏黃的畫面。胡杏兒真正為藝術犧牲增肥50磅演肥妹角色，可惜未能討好觀眾。

外購劇《棟篤狀王》包尾

數無線黃金時段最低收視的劇集，外購劇《棟篤狀王》雖然有曾是觀眾喜愛的黃子華主演，但平均收視點只有21.86，觀眾人數140萬。40集的《覆雨翻雲》雖有「視后」佘詩曼、郭羨妮、林峰與黃宗澤主演，收視點只有22.9，排尾二位置。
