Benjamin Yuen Becoming an Antagonist to Battle Joel Chan

TV king Joel Chan will be partnering with Benjamin Yuen, Cheung Wing Hong, Elaine Yiu, Jacky Cai, Kelly Fu, et al. to film Chung Shu Kai's new TVB series, "Anti-Crime Heroes", in the middle of next month. In the series, Joel is playing a law enforcement officer. It is known that Benjamin's character has the greatest breakthrough, playing the major antagonist for the first time. As for Elaine, she is playing a triad boss lady for the first time.

This time, the female lead is Jacky. Joel said that it is the first time collaborating with her...hope to be able to create sparks. Asked if he has to train his body, he said, "Also have to train...run a bit! Also don't have to train for a six-pack. Acting comes first for us, not the abs, and I also don't have enough time...have to spend the summer holiday with my son".

Benjamin has already not filmed a series for two years. Apart from the attraction of the team this time, the script is the biggest factor for him to film. TVB artistes Kenneth Ma, Elaine Yiu, and Oscar Leung are competing in the "Asian Academy Creative Awards 2022" for 'Best Actor in a Leading Role', 'Best Actress in a Supporting Role', and 'Best Actor in a Supporting Role' with "Kids' Lives Matter"'s 'Fong Chung Yan', "The Righteous Fists"' 'Kam Fuk Mui', and "Flying Tiger 3"'s 'Hui Sam' respectively, while Karl Ting is also competing for 'Best Comedy Performance' with "Freedom Memories"' 'Chai Hing Chau'. Cheung Tat Ming Making a Comeback by Recreating a Classic, Vincent Wong Uses Geographical Advantage to Play Justice Sung

Since Eric Tsang took the post as TVB's General Manager, he has been committed to diversifying the types of series in order to achieve free expression for the arts. TVB New Wings, a production company under TVB, recently signed Cheung Tat Ming and Lam Chi Chung, and they will work together to remake a new series installment of Sung Sai Kit. The 1997 series "Justice Sung", which starred Cheung Tat Ming and Amy Kwok, can be said to be Cheung Tat Ming's representative work. Back then, the finale's average ratings reached 32 points; the results were outstanding. Plus, this year is the 25th anniversary of the broadcast of the series; thus, Eric intends to remake this series, and Cheung Tat Ming is the perfect choice. In addition to performing, Cheung Tat Ming and Lam Chi Cheung will also be serving as the screenwriters, planners, directors, and producers. It is expected to start filming in Mainland's Hengdian at the end of July. Excited About Partnering New Lineup

The new version of protagonist Sung Sai Kit is different from the old one. Since Cheung Tat Ming has multiple roles, he will not be acting as the lead even though he is making an appearance, so as to not be physically overwhelmed. It is known that Lai Lok Yi was originally the first choice to be the first male lead; however, due to the strict prevention and control of the pandemic in the Mainland, Hengdian has adopted closed-loop filming; the application procedures for Hong Kong people to go to Mainland to film are complicated. Plus, Wong Cho Lam had already led a group of siu sangs and fa dans to go up north for work. TVB does not want to cause a shortage of manpower by sending another person to go up north; thus, it has ben decided that, instead of Lai Lok Yi, who is rushing to film "Happy Ever After?", go up north, the lead has been changed to Vincent Wong, who is already in Mainland. Fa dan Elaine Yiu, who is also in Mainland, and King Kong, who has been away from TVB for a long time, are also taking part.

Vincent expressed that he had already received the related news: "Discussing the story with [Lam Chi] Chung in Mainland now. Trying to understand more first. He also has good ideas. This time, it's a comedy. I also really like to film the comedy series genre". Elaine Yiu Has Good Luck with Guys; Wayne Lai Looks Forward to Collaborating with Sheren Tang Again

Wayne Lai, Shaun Tam, Owen Cheung, Elaine Yiu, Brian Chu, Hugo Wong, Jacky Cai, Jack Hui, and Brian Wong attended the blessing ceremony for "Fighting". Wayne is about to film a scene where he has to show off his muscles; he has already pretty much trained his abdominal muscles. He teased Elaine that she is the happiest because there are muscles to look at for every scene. Elaine laughingly said, "Don't say it like that. She highly praised Brian Chu as having the nicest figure, especially his chest muscles; because they are not familiar with each other, she does not dare to touch him, but she did touch Owen. It is rumoured that Sheren Tang is returning to the company to film "Rosy Business IV"; Wayne did get asked by the series crew about his schedule, but it has not been confirmed yet. Shaun has an episode of scenes in his guest appearance. Because he had to face a Thai boxing champion, he specially lost 22 pounds, appearing in his fittest condition...extremely satisfied with the result of the shoot. Owen's lei tai scene has not finished filming yet...has to continue to keep his muscles and figure and control his diet. He greatly envies Brian Chu and Jack, as they have completed the scenes where they show off their muscles, so they can eat and drink as much as they want. Wayne Lai and Brian Chu Fight to Become the Boxing King, Elaine Yiu Turns into the 'Most Bruised' Goddess

TVB's new series "Fighting" will start filming in mid-October. The actors include Wayne Lai, Elaine Yiu, Brian Chu, Jacky Cai, Hugo Wong, Owen Cheung, et al. Due to the pandemic, the series crew already secretly held a costume fitting the other day. Many key players are playing boxers. Wayne, Elaine, Owen, Hugo, et al. have to fight. Although they have done a lot of fighting scenes before and are very experienced, they rarely come into contact with Muay Thai, so when there is time, would find a master to practice in class.

Elaine and Hugo are currently busy wrapping up the Shaw Brothers series "Flying Tiger 3", but still found time to practice. Elaine went to a boxing gym to practice with Master Sin Lam Yuk, and even practiced to the point that she got a big bruise on the back of her foot. She said, "Actually didn't get bruised when I was practicing boxing. It was after practicing that I had to try a sandbag. I unknowingly picked a super hard one. Since boxing requires physical strength and vigour, goddess Elaine said that she has to become a runner again to practice her breathing: "Muay Thai has a lot of different positions. It's about the rhythm...already very intense after fighting for a bit!" In order to match the role, she also has to cut her hair short. As she is still filming another series, she had to wear a wig on the day of the costume fitting.

Brian, who was a fighter in the series "Al Cappuccino", also has to box this time. He said, "I have practiced boxing a few times. Fighting even more this time than last time. Mainly fighting with Owen. There is scene where he and I have to fight on a lei tai. Before the start of filming, we had already found fitness and boxing coaches to practice, so greatly looking forward to it".

Hugo frankly said that he still has not had the time to practice: "Being a boxer this time. Theoretically, the training is even more intense than 'Airport Strikers'. When there was time, I also went to a sports field to run, practice boxing, and practice breathing".

The 'TVB Amazing Summer 2018' press conference was held, introducing new programmes for the summer holidays. Seventy artists, including Roger Kwok, Tavia Yeung, Elaine Yiu, Selena Lee, Samantha Ko, and Moon Lau, were in attendance. Roger and Tavia promoted the new series "Another Era".

Roger revealed that, every time his children hear big big channel's music, it is as if they are spellbound, as their eyes seem to be beaming, and they would also dance along the music. Kenneth Ma Denies Having Series to Film Due to Contract Extension

Kenneth Ma, who is rumoured to have been frozen by TVB due to refusing to extend his contract, Ruco Chan, etc. attended a blessing ceremony for "ICAC Investigators 2016". The series also has the old cast of "Come Home Love", including Lai Lok Yi, Max Cheung, Florence Kwok, Joey Law, Angel Chiang, Glen Lee, etc. Miss Hong Kong second runner-up Karmen Kwok is also taking part. Grace Chan, Moon Lau, Stephanie Ho, and Jeannie Chan will play the four girls, in which three of them will become barristers.

Louis Cheung was originally an engineer; however, he encountered something unfair at work, so he later decides to become a barrister. He and Grace have a very subtle relationship.

Ben Wong and Elaine Yiu will play a married lawyer couple whose marriage gets tested.

Natalie Tong will play a barrister.

Norman Leung Treats Selena Li to Fish Ball Noodles to Celebrate Completion of Filming

TVB Chairman Norman Leung treated the cast of "Love Exceeds the Coastline" to a completion banquet, sharing the joy with others by booking eight tables out of his own pocket. He said, "Last time, Selena Li told me that the series crew has been stuck filming in Cheung Chau, but has not eaten the famous local fish ball noodles and seafood, so I am treating her".

Ruco Chan Avoids Selena Li to Prevent Causing Rumours

Ruco Chan 'sparked' Selena Li and Lee Yee Man because of filming series. The three appeared at the completion banquet. To put a stop to the rumours, Ruco and Selena kept a distance. He said, "Recently, there is always this type of rumours, causing it to be very awkward". On the other hand, Selena graciously praised Ruco as being professional. When asked whether she has feelings for Ruco, she said, "Currently colleagues. Would not talk about feelings. (Meet privately?) Do not have the plans to do so yet".

Personal Note: No wonder Norman Leung treated the cast of "Coastline" to a completion banquet! The cast and crew should thank Selena for mentioning it to him! :P

Funny that Susan Tse asked the male artistes if they needed a massage! :P

Kenneth Ma Pursues Elaine Yiu

Yesterday, Elaine Yiu attended an event promoting traffic safety. She expressed that she would definitely not drive after drinking, because she doesn't have her driver's license, and she usually travels by taxi. When asked whether she had a wealthy boyfriend to be her chauffeur, she said, "Broke up for over a half year!" Upon hearing this, Kenneth Ma jokingly said, "Wow! I have a chance now!" Kenneth expressed that he welcomes Elaine to call him to be her chauffeur. Elaine said, "He is, following Moses Chan, TVB's second 'Good Property'!"

Personal Note: He he.... Ma Ming "pursuing" Elaine now.... ;) Ironic how Ma Ming offered to be Elaine's chauffeur, as he tends to take public transportation, even though he has his own vehicle. :P
