Samantha Ko Has High Standards for Choosing a Partner, Kenneth Ma Praises Cheung Wing Hong as Being the Best Choice to Be a Scumbag

TV king Kenneth Ma, Samantha Ko, Hera Chan, Rosita Kwok, Roxanne Ho, Cathy Wong, Ben Wong, et al. attended a promotion today for the new series "Mrs. Revenge", drawing a large crowd of supportive fans.

Talking about the series' early release in Mainland, sparking a lot of discussion, Samantha thanked the viewers' support, pointing out that many netizens were very immersed when watching and were indignant on behalf of what her character went through. Mentioning the unfortunate encounter with scumbag Cheung Wing Hong, Samantha laughingly said that the shoot this time made her learn how to identify and avoid scumbags: "Scumbags treat every girl very well and are eternal 'mama's boys'. Respecting [your] mom is good, but it isn't good to bully [your] girlfriend or rely on [your] girlfriend for everything". Kenneth highly praised Cheung Wing Hong as being the best choice to play this character: "Ah Hong went all out while being funny; only he could carry the character. He also really wants to come promote, but it clashed with [his] work. It wouldn't be surprising to see him at future promotions".

Samantha laughingly said that filming the series allowed her to experience different lives. Although she is not married yet, she is confident that she would make a great girlfriend and a good wife, and also pointed out that she has asked Kenneth to introduce a good guy. Kenneth highly praised Samantha as being a good girl. Although the male friends around him are already married, will continue to keep an eye out for her: "Also wouldn't dare to introduce [if] the qualifications are not good. Samantha doesn't need an incredibly wealthy or handsome guy. Given her quality, cannot make a haphazard introduction. She shouldn't have to settle. At the very least, [needs to have] a good character and a kind heart. (Like you?) I also may not necessarily be worthy. I feel that the heavens are very fair. There is definitely another half. Don't know where...is actually waiting for you. This is something that I have experienced firsthand". Samantha also admitted that she has high standards for choosing a partner: "Because [the person] has to be with me for a lifetime. The most important thing is having to encounter [him]". She frankly said that she is busy with work now...having to maintain a relationship is also not easy. All in all, don't want to fail at both. [If I] meet [someone], would also want to be like Nancy Wu and get married quickly. However, work opportunities are also very difficult to encounter, so need to greatly cherish them now. Since the heavens have given me work opportunities, putting romance on the back burner for the time being. (Like Nancy, only consider it after winning an award?) Well, there's also no conflict there...could happen at the same time. Ha Ha!"

Talking about the news of the passing of TVB's former golden producer, Leung Choi Yuen, circulating the other day, Kenneth expressed that he had worked with him and highly praised him for greatly adoring [his] actors: "He would never scold actors. Was a senior who was really worthy of respect. [If] there were no seniors, how could there be us? This year, many respected seniors passed away...it's a great pity".

Kenneth Ma, Samantha Ko, Rosita Kwok, Eric Tang, Matthew Ho, Hera Chan, et al. attended a meeting in Shenzhen today for TVB's new series, "Mrs. Revenge". Kenneth and Samantha both denied allegations that "Mrs." plagiarized the Korean drama "Marry My Husband". Kenneth expressed, "I have watched that Korean drama. Our series talks about forseeable dreams; the premise is not the same. Perhaps viewers would find certain plot points slightly similar, but many series involve the scumbag theme. It depends on the viewer's perspective". Samantha pointed out that a single manga that gets adapted into a drama would have different versions; apart from the Korean drama, there was also a Japanese drama. She also humourously expressed, "In life, one is bound to encounter a few scumbags along the way".

This series has already released in Mainland and will only be airing on TVB Jade next month. Samantha expressed her delight at the response being ideal and that it has been a popular search in Mainland. She revealed that the biggest challenge of the role was the crying scenes, noting that a particular scene involving the discovery of her husband's infidelity required the most intense crying. "Felt as though [I] had lost half of my life after filming ended. Had to sit on the floor to finish crying and compose [myself] before [I] could shoot the subsequent scene where my husband in the series, Cheung Wing Hong, slaps me". She emphasized that she harboured no trauma from a past incident where a slap during the filming of a series had actually knocked her face out of alignment; however, her mother could not help but shed tears and felt heartbroken for her while watching this scene. Kenneth's character in the series was highly praised by Samantha as being perfect like a 'guardian angel', but Kenneth jokingly said that such a good character would only appear in fairy tales: "I'm not as perfect as this character. You can ask my wife--she would definitely say that I am not as good as the character".

Rumours have circulated that Ron Ng and Kelly Cheung have sparked a romance while working together on the series "This City Never Sleeps". Samantha pointed out that the two play a married couple in the series; in private, it was normal work-related communication, and everyone would also occasionally gather for meals. Samantha went on a trip to the US earlier and watched two World Cup matches in person, lamenting the lack of male company--being accompanied only be female friends. [She] had also hoped to be able to have a romantic encounter. Kenneth also wants to go watch the World Cup but lacks the time, so has to settle for watching it at home with his wife, Roxanne Tong. Earlier, Roxanne was wearing a loose-fitting dress, so it was speculated that it is inconvenient for her to fly because she is pregnant. He said, "My wife has always liked wearing loose-fitting dresses. If there is, would let everyone know. We are working on it, but leaving whether there is or not to fate".

TV king Kenneth Ma and TV queen Ali Lee attended the unveiling ceremony of the 'TamJai 30th Anniversary Food Fair' in Wong Tai Sin today.

Kenneth revealed that he has collaborated with TamJai multiple times. [He] even rapped for an ad, which required three full days of practice. He said that he loves to eat rice noodles because they are healther than the typical noodles, and [you] choose the ingredients to go with it. However, he said that he is not fond of spicy food, loving '10 mild' the most, and the limit is challenging '5 mild', whereas his wife, Roxanne Tong, can eat very spicy food. Asked if his wife is 'spicy', he laughingly said that her personality is gentle and elegant...definitely not feisty--a sentiment that Ali, who was next to him, agreed with. Ali, a Sagitarrius, said that she likes to try new things, previously challenging herself to eat mala with her classmate; however, [her] taste has mellowed in recent years, now preferring vegetarian broths and ingredients, such as tofu puffs and wood ear, laughingly saying that her taste has 'become like that of a granny'.

Kenneth laughingly said that rapping for an ad was simply a way to 'make some money'. If [he] were to hold a show, would seek advice from Edwin Siu and Raymond Cho. Ali laughingly said that she just shed the tone-deaf label. Rapping is on a whole different level, but is also willing to give it a try if an ad offer came along. The two have reunited after being a CP in "Big White Duel"; Kenneth looks forward to collaborating again and believes that there will be an opportunity in the future. Ali pointed out that they had been in the same company for many years but had not worked together much; however, once [they] filmed "Big", [they] immediately won 'Favourite Male/Female Character' together, laughingly saying that the two bring each other good luck, and their bazi is very compatible...hope that there are more ad or project offers.

Talking about Kenneth's foray into the music industry, Ali laughingly said that she did not need to check the news to know about it because too many people shared it, even pointing out that he will continue singing in Mainland next month and laughingly said that his style is a unique 'Ma Ming beat'. Kenneth admitted that he will continue challenging himself with singing, as there are no series to film recently. As for the plans for "The QUEEN of News III", he pointed out that his character had already died in the previous installment, so [his] participation would depend on the executive producer's decision. Ali has recently ventured into the movie industry; Kenneth highly praised her for her development being ideal, believing that the different domains are closely related and hoping for her to have good results across all domains. Ali laughingly said that she is still a newcomer in the movie industry. The movie has already wrapped up filming; next, [she] will take a short break before preparing for [her] new series. Asking about the character in "Long Vacation" having to play the piano, she expressed that she will prepare by practicing the piano beforehand.

Last night, Kenneth Ma, Tiffany Lau, Tony Hung, Chow Ka Lok, Brian Chu, Joey Thye, Ricco Ng, Rosita Kwok, Aska Cheung, Yumi Chung, et al. watched the finale of the TVB series "The Airport Diary II" with viewers, attracting hundreds of fans to the airport terminal to show their support.

Joey Thye Sings While Brian Chu and Aska Cheung Show Off Their Muscles to Liven Up the Finale Night

The first week of "Airport" peaked at 21.2 points with 1,360,000 viewers, becoming the highest-rated series in the first half of the year for its premiere week. Ahead of the broadcast of the finale, Joey warmed up the crowd by singing the sub song, 《飛常道》, at the airport, eliciting screams from fans. She joked, "Chipped my front teeth before, so the entire stage is all mine today!" She laughingly said that, after performing at the airport, she could skip the Hong Kong Coliseum and go straight to the Kai Tak stage. The cast also cut a cake to celebrate the ratings breaking this year's record and invited fans on stage to play games to win limited-edition 'Leave Application Strategy' calendar cards. Brian added to the excitement by taking off his shirt to show off his muscular arms, prompting the equally muscular Aska to follow suit; however, despite the enthusiastic crowd urging him on, Ka Lok adamantly refused to take off his shirt.

Kenneth Ma and Rosita Kwok Hope for a Third Installment and Character Promotions

Kenneth and Rosita accepted an interview after the broadcast of the series finale. Kenneth admitted that he does not know if the company would arrange to release a third installment of "Airport"...need to leave it to the producer to arrange it. However, he said that he feels that there is potential to shoot it, as many case stories in different departments of the Airport Authority have yet be written in the script. Through the filming of the series, [he] also discovered that the Hong Kong International Airport is more high-tech and efficient than airports elsewhere in the world. Kenneth previously played a pilot and now an airport executive, laughingly saying that, if a third installment were filmed, "Have to get promoted again! Was just chatting with a manager who holds the same position as I did, and he has already been promoted to senior management!" Or [he] could step out of the air-conditioned conference room next time: "Never worked on the apron...want to go out there!" Rosita, who successfully secured a co-pilot position in the finale, expressed, "Was very happy to fly a plane in the series. Certainly most want to go from one stripe to two in the next installment!" Becoming an onscreen couple with Ricco this time, fortunately, it was also a happy ending. Rosita revealed that she does not know about her upcoming acting opportunities yet. While waiting for the company's arrangement, [she] is diligently managing her personal video channel, shooting many trending shorts, food reviews, and lifestyle vlogs; even Kenneth immediately expressed that he has been following the channel.

Kenneth Ma Laughs at Himself for His Lack of Improvment in Singing and Dancing, Does Not Dare to Let His Wife See

With the promotions for the series now concluded, Kenneth expressed that there are also no series to film, but laughingly said that he has still not been able to focus on watching the World Cup, being envious of Samantha Ko, who has flown to the venue to watch the matches in person: "Well, she has the money! I still have to work like a workhorse, going to Huizhou, Jiangmen, and Malaysia to hold concerts". [He] recently had rehearsals in Guangzhou, diligently practicing his singing and dancing while tweaking the content for each concert to ensure a fresh experience for each audience. Although Kenneth often laughs at himself for lacking the talent for singing and dancing, [he] has improved a lot through constant practice. It is just that he does not dare to shoot videos for his wife, Roxanne Tong, to see: "Do not dare to let my wife see. She knows that there is not much room for improvement in my singing and dancing!"

Kenneth Ma Denies That Roxanne Tong Has Halted Work to Have a Baby, Tiffany Lau Shows the Attraction of a Uniform on the Streets of Causeway Bay

Kenneth Ma, Tiffany Lau, Chow Ka Lok, Brian Chu, Rosita Kwok, and Yumi Chung arrived at the streets of Causeway Bay to promote the finale of "The Airport Diary II", which is on Friday. Everyone appeared under the scorching heat in airline uniforms and played a gummy-eating game. Ka Lok drew eating a gummy with his goddess in the series; when Tiffany drew Brian, he even pulled out a pair of scissors to cut the candy. In the end, the two guys ate the candy, appearing very 'hehe'. The actors also posed with cardboard cutouts, announcing that the series had 21.2 points, making it the highest-rated series of the year for its premiere week, and distributed souvenirs to the locals.

Tiffany Lau Named the Most Want-to-Marry Female Artiste

Kenneth, Tiffany, and Ka Lok accepted an interview. Talking about sharing a gunmy with Tiffany, Ka Lok pointed out that they are both actors, so there was no awkwardness. Tiffany has stolen the spotlight with her incredibly long legs and pretty face, becoming the female artiste whom viewers want to marry the most. The two guys immediately pointed out that Tiffany was only '80 percent pretty' in the series. Kenneth joked, "If she is shot too prettily, viewers might overlook her acting skills!" Tiffany said that, after filming the first installment, she always wanted to be able to play a pilot in the sequel: "Very delighted to be able to wear this uniform while promoting today. If 'The Airport Diary III' is filmed, hope that I can play a pilot". Ka Lok also expressed his hope of playing a pilot in the sequel and laughingly said, "My character's name is 「程日飛」, but had never actually flown".

Tiffany Lau's Incredibly Long Legs Steal the Spotlight

Mentioning her long legs also being showcased in a pilot's uniform, she laughingly said that she did not know that the series used so many shots of her. Knew that the flight attendant from the previous installment was well-received. Expected the administrative attire to also look good...had not anticipated that the viewers would like it just as much. She expressed that her leg length had been measured when she took part in the Miss Hong Kong Pageant but had since forgotten it. Kenneth immediately laughingly said, "It's just like a rich person not knowing how much wealth he or she has! (What is your net worth?) I know...can calculate how much is spent!"

Kenneth Ma Denies Roxanne Tong Is Living in Luxury and Comfort in Preparation for Having a Baby

Kenneth went to the US for a stage performance with Edwin Siu and Raymond Cho earlier. He pointed out that Raymond lost his voice unexpectedly; thus, he and Edwin stepped in provide vocal support during his solo segments. There was a silver lining because the audience did not demand a refund but instead joined in for a massive sing-along, laughingly saying that [they] had a lot of fun. Because his brothers started out as singers, he is not afraid of being embarrassed or feeling pressured. He announced that he will be recording a new song with the two of them; thus, he has been practicing non-stop recently. Asking if he is preparing to advance into the music industry, Kenneth laughingly said that there is no advancement: "I am merely a part-time singer who is relying on singing to earn extra income. There are no extravagant hopes to enter the music industry to fight for the newcomer award. My wife does not usually praise my singing...would walk away when [she] hears me practicing". As for his wife, Roxanne Tong, who has not been seen in public for a while, is she living in luxury and comfort to have a baby? Kenneth clarified that she is not; there is simply no shooting work that she likes recently, so she is living the life that she likes.

Kenneth Ma Laughs at Himself for Doing Miscellaneous Work, Tony Hung Continues His 'Warm Guy' Image and Changes Samantha Ko's Views on Romance

CREDIT IF REPOSTED

stheadline Clip

In the series "The Airport Diary II", Kenneth Ma had been promoted to the general manager of the airport terminal and customer experience. He joins forces with Samantha Ko (playing an airport passenger services manager), Tony Hung (the head security officer of airport security), and Tsui Wing (an airfield duty manager) to take viewers deep into the management and operations of the airport, with filming once again taking place entirely on location. Samantha was happy to reunite with the big "Airport II" family; already felt that it was very heartwarming when filming the first installment. Tony said that being at the airport felt like home: "Apart from the cast and crew, from the restaurant employees to the staff, everyone was a familiar face!" Kenneth also thought that it felt like home; the entire process was familar and relaxed. Samantha laughingly said, "The airport staff was also very used to us appearing here, greeting me warmly and asking if [we] were filming or getting ready to go on a trip. It felt as though we also truly became a part of the airport!"

From an 'Airport Passerby' to a 'Resident'

Samantha said that she discovered the beauty of the Hong Kong International Airport after filming the previous installment; the feelings only deepened this time around: "It wasn't until [we] finished filming that [I] realized how pretty the Hong Kong International Airport is. Usually, when flying, there's no time to linger. This time, was at the airport for a long time, two or three months, from morning till night. This place (the Hong Kong International Aviation Academy) is absolutely stunning. Would take pictures of the sunset after every shoot. There were many facilities that [I] had not noticed before". Tony laughingly said that he used to be a passerby...feels like a 'resident' now. Kenneth laughingly said, "Tony and I filmed on the apron before. Wrapped up just as the sun was rising. It turns out that the view from the apron is truly spectactular! Not everyone gets a chance like that...it's a perk for us actors!"

Tony Hung Became Even 'Warmer' After Having Daughters

Talking about being promoted to the 'airport's number one brother', Kenneth laughingly said that [he] has handed over the central control centre to Chow Ka Lok, leaving himself to handle various issues in the airport: "Moved up three ranks, but have to do everything. Am an executive on paper, but actually doing miscellaneous work...ha ha!" Samantha's role is the same as the previous installment...handling passengers' various needs, and even being assigned to train a newcomer at the Shanghai Airport, and having scenes with newcomer Yumi Chung, which had the feeling of passing the torch. She also pointed out that the unexpected situations encountered at the airport far exceeded her imagination: "Remember encountering a typhoon in the previous installment. I had to return to Hong Kong from Shanghai to film. This time, also had to return to Hong Kong from Shanghai to film, followed by a connecting flight to Liverpool to shoot a programme, so I contacted an Airport Authority staff to get in inquiry. She helped me handle it immediately, letting me truly know how the airport rapidly responds when encountering a typhoon or severe weather!" As for Tony, who heads the security department in the series, it has up to 6000 people and is one of the aiport's largest: "However, [my] main job this time was to mentor Aska Cheung. He is a newly hired colleague who was previously a singer. Having changed career paths to find a new direction in life, the story also aims to show that people from diverse backgrounds also have a chance to find a suitable role at the airport".

In addition, Samantha continued her romantic storyline with Tony this time. She highly praised his warm guy image as being extremely captivating: "I already really liked the romantic storyline with him in the previous installment. In many of the series that were filmed in the past, the romantic storylines were also full of ups and downs and joys and sorrows; however, in real life, adult romance gives me the feeling of being more and more ordinary. There's a kind of consistency and a warm feeling...silently putting in a lot of effort and taking meticulous care of [your] lover. Tony had this kind of vibe this time! In the series, there's a period of time when I go to Shanghai for work, so the two of us end up having a long-distance relationship, but he prepares so much for me. That scene left a deep impression on me. Shot a few takes from different angles, and every take made me teary-eyed". She also laughingly said that Tony has become even more skilled at playing a warm guy since getting married and having daughters, and even said that there was also the feeling of being cared for like a daughter by him. Tony, in turn, praised her for her good acting skills and being a great partner.

Kenneth Ma Practicing Fatherly Love by Looking After His Cats

In addition, Tony laughingly said that, when facing Samantha, [he] had to set aside [his] humourous side that loves to smile to project an air of seriousness and authority. Hearing this, Kenneth teased, "When he's immersed in projecting that authority, the single eyelids would turn into double eyelids...especially handsome!" Samantha said that the romantic scenes this time have changed what she pursues in love: "In the past, would pursue the feeling of a racing heart with a guy. Now, find that feeling at ease is also quite good!" Asked if this kind of feeling at ease was something that developed after marriage, Tony boasted about the depth of his emotions: "Perhaps this feeling was lying dormant at the bottom of the lake all along, and it just erupted after getting married!" Kenneth attributed the change to him having daughters. When asked if this sentiment was shared by married men, Kenneth laughingly said, "Absolutely. I totally get where he's coming from...ha ha!" (So, have you erupted yet?) I have not yet because I have not had kids! I am still at the bottom of the lake and have not erupted yet". In addition, Kenneth also laughingly said that Tony's 'market conditions' would skyrocket once the series airs. Asked if his wife, Inez Leong, had changed her opinion of him, Tony laughingly said that his wife thought that he acted very well: "She said that I could be so warm, so [I] should be a warm guy and husband when [I] get home! Ideally doing everything with the utmost thoughtfulness. Now, picking up and dropping off our daughters has already become a part of life". Kenneth laughingly said that, although he does not have a daughter to look after, caring for [his] cats give him a similar feeling: "The cats would usually wake me up just after 5am to get breakfast ready. At this time, my wife (Roxanne Tong) would pretend to not hear a thing...ha ha!"

Kenneth Ma Earning Quick Money as a Singer and Finds Himself Affordable, Laughingly Talks About His 'Dad' Role on Father's Day

Kenneth Ma, Tiffany Lau, Brian Chu, Rosita Kwok, et al. attended a promotional event for the series "The Airport Diary II" at the Central Pier today under the scorching sun.

Kenneth and Tiffany were interviewed together. Regarding the relatively short length of the series, only having ten episodes, Kenneth believes that that the most important thing is that viewers like it, laughingly saying that, if the response is good, [he] would be happy to film a third installment, but would have to ask the producer. Tiffany was in support of Kenneth's view, pointing out that the airport has many stories that could be continued. She said, "This subject matter can bring viewers a lot of little-known facts, such as passengers being unable to board the plane if they wear too many coats".

Kenneth revealed that filming these series has broadened his connections: "Met a lot of aiport staff and know about rest areas, and know to how handle different situations". Tiffany showcased her language skills in the series. She said that there was difficulty in the performance; if another sequel were filmed, she is willing to challenge learning more languages.

Kenneth has been having shows with Edwin Siu and Raymond Cho recently, announcing that they will be going to Huizhou in July, followed by Malaysia and Jiangmen. However, the trio has not come up with a name. He said, "Leaving it to Edwin to come up with a name; he has more ideas". He expressed that he has primarily been acting after many years in the industry. Recently, [he] is experiencing the life of a singer; working as a singer and an actor has its own fun aspects. He said, "I like to act. Can earn quick money as a singer, but not considered a lot. We are very cheap...very affordable. Being an actor is more strenuous, but it is also very enjoyable when a fun role is encountered. I would not recommend myself to sing series songs, as [I] am not a professional singer".

Kenneth revealed that he and his two partners will be releasing a new song together soon, hoping that everyone will look forward to to it. He laughingly said, "Edwin and Raymond would help me practice singing, forcing me to learn their songs. Luckily, don't have to film any series recently. I will practice hard. Think that it's quite fun and happy to work with a group of people".

Kenneth expressed that he would not neglect his wife, Roxanne Tong, even though he is having shows overseas. Would only invite her to go along on short and more comfortable trips. He said, "Last time, when [I] went to the US, didn't take my wife because [I] didn't want it to be hard for her. The round trip was a 30-hour flight, and the schedule was very rushed. Rehearsed after [we] arrived, finished the performance, and left". Today is Father's Day; asking him if he longs to be a father, he said, "Not yet. If there's good news, would announce it, but I have two cats...also considered a father".

Kenneth Ma Buys Bags to Cajole His Wife and Becomes a 'Wife-Doting Maniac': "I Am Not the Enemy of Males"

Kenneth Ma, Samantha Ko, Tiffany Lau, Rosita Kwok, Brian Chu, Yumi Chung, et al. gathered at the airport today to attend a promotional event for the TVB series "The Airport Diary II". "Midlife, Sing & Shine!" singer Vic Teo sang the series' theme song, "I Found My Way", live.

Kenneth laughingly said that he originally only knew that he had been promoted in this installment, but only found out today that he had moved up three ranks. He, who does not have any new series to film, was asked if he is focusing on singing to make a living. He said, "I am just following Edwin Siu and Raymond Cho in cheating for a meal, but it is indeed more comfortable than filming series".

He expressed that his wife, Roxanne Tong, did not accompany him in the travel: "It's not that it's inconvenient for her, but flying too far is very strenuous; she does not want to fly". In "Lose the Battle, Win the War", Kenneth, who shared the insightful comment that "it is very normal for a husband to occasionally gift a bag to his wife", has been dubbed a 'wife-doting maniac'. He said, "It is very normal. Happy wife, happy life. My wife doesn't have to buy every single bag...only buys what she likes. Actually know a lot of men who are also like that; Moses Chan, Shaun Tam, and Ruco Chan are also like that. I am the lowest-paid one. It also proves that TVB's male artistes are of high calibre. Believe that I am not the enemy of males".

Kenneth Ma Would Inform His Wife Before Shooting Intimate Scenes

Kenneth expressed that he is not afraid of shooting intimate scenes, but would consider whether the scene is necessary. As a male, he would also not be afraid: "Guys need to clearly communicate with their female partners about how it'll be done. It's better if everyone has talked about it clearly. If something is done without prior notice, the girl might feel uncomfortable; thus, it needs to be communicated clearly beforehand". He even laughingly said that actors face more pressure when shooting intimate scenes; it is best to communicate clearly to avoid misunderstandings. Asked if he would refuse to shoot intimate scenes after marriage, Kenneth expressed that he would inform his wife, Roxanne, beforehand, even laughingly saying, "I always say that it only does not have to be informed about Samantha beforehand because she is too good of a friend with my wife. For others, it also has to be informed. She usually just hears it, and that's it. Everyone also knows that the TV station's boundaries would not be too exaggerated".

Kenneth Ma Says That He Had Never Been Bullied by Kiki Sheung

In addition, when talking about the matter of Kiki Sheung being implicated in bullying Shirley Yeung, Kenneth said that he had worked with Kiki and Shirley on separate occasions, but could not say too much because he was not present: "There was also nothing special with everyone. There was nothing special in front of me when everyone was filming". He also said that there were no issues when working with Kiki. Samantha, who was next to him, also expressed that she had never been bullied. Kenneth praised Samantha for being too nice, jokingly expressing that she may have been bullied without even realizing it. Samantha revealed, "All the partners I've encountered have also been great. (What about when [you] first debuted?) Was very new when [I] first debuted. I would not know what to do, and I would take the initiative to ask the director and partners if I was doing it correctly. Often, when I took the initiative to ask them, they would be very willing give me a lot of suggestions. There was more of this kind of communication".

Artistes Samantha Ko and Kenneth Ma attended the "TVB Mid-Year Sales Presentation 2026" at the Hong Kong Cenvention and Exhibition Centre in Wan Chai. Samantha appeared in a sexy outfit today. She laughingly said that it was just revealing the back and pointed out that it was a grand event, so she dressed up. Asked if she had to attract clients, she laughingly said, "Also a good [idea]!" Asking Kenneth, who was next to her, whether he did not dare to look at Samantha, he said that he was looking normally and highly praised Samantha for having an aesthetic feeling and that "her entire person is pretty"! The two have two series airing later. Samantha said that "The Airport Diary II" will be airing in June, and she also has "Mrs. Revenge", but there were no plans to promote it to the clients today. Mentioning that "Mrs." has gone through a few years, do they know when it would be airing? Kenneth expressed that he does not know, but believes that "The Map of Truth", which is currently airing, was even longer. As for Samantha's other series, "This City Never Sleeps", Samantha also admitted that she does not know when it would be airing; when the time comes, someone would notify her about the promotions. She also looks forward to the final result after editing: "Previously heard that it'll be this year's anniversary series. Would certainly be good if it airs!" The two expressed that they do not have any new series for the time being; however, Samantha said that she is busy with other things. Asking Kenneth, who is currently touring in Mainland with Edwin Siu and Raymond Cho, whether he is fully committed to becoming a singer, he laughingly said that he is getting a free ride by following along with Edwin and Raymond and learning from them; he does not know how to sing, and they are more professional. He also said that he does not know anything, so he does not dare to offer his opinion, jokingly saying that his singing still needs improvement. As for Samantha, who was a guest at their tour, she pointed out that Kenneth has a tremolo when he sings, which is very incredible. Kenneth ridiculed himself by saying that he was actually 'trembling due to being terrified'. Asking Samantha whether she also has plans to go sing, she laughingly said that she has to find the right people to form a group first, suggesting finding Roxanne Tong as a partner because she sings well and knows how to create a lively atmosphere: "The most important thing is not having to sing so much, and also able to make money and travel together...quite happy!" Kenneth put a damper on it by saying that his wife does not know how to create a lively atmosphere. Asking Kenneth if he does not want to let his wife 'come out of retirement', he laughingly said that she has never 'stopped doing her long-time job': "She has work, but it is shooting online [things], and the company also does not have any series to shoot". Samnatha highly praised Mrs. Ma for making a lot online; Kenneth also laughingly said that he has to learn from his wife.

The variety programme "Lose the Battle, Win the War" held its blessing ceremony today, with Raymond Cho, Edwin Siu, Jinny Ng, and Stephanie Che serving as 'five-star survival coaches' dismantling the everyday bombs in married couples' relationships with a group of celebrity friends. Edwin, Raymond, and first episode guests Kenneth Ma and Shaun Tam were interviewed. All four husbands revealed many of Kenneth's secrets on the programme. Edwin also frankly admitted that their income is managed by their wives: "These three husbands are fully committed, handing over all of their salaries. Kenneth's share is big enough for his mom to use!" Even Kenneth laughingly said, "Don't need personal money. Don't need to apply for permission to buy things. My wife sometimes also tells me to buy things. I say to not to, or [I] will run out of money".

Edwin Siu's Bank Account Savings Are a Whopping Seven Figures

Shaun laughingly said that he is already very happy just having enough pocket money to top up his Octopus for his daily fares. Edwin revealed, that, at the present, he and Priscilla Wong keep their daily expenses separate, and they also opened a joint account to save for a flat: "Have already capped the account. The money is for our son. (You are using your son's money?) He's using it himself. I'm helping my boss make money. Early childhood playgroups cost $8000 a month. Tuition will be quite big then! That's why [I] have to work so hard to put on shows to make money for powdered milk!" Edwin expressed that the bank account savings are a whopping seven figures, prompting Kenneth to jokingly point out that it is only two dollars away from reaching eight figures!

Kenneth Ma Diligently Practices Singing to Cajole His Wife

[Edwin] will be having shows with Kenneth and Raymond in Mainland for two days in July. Kenneth has even been bought a karaoke machine to diligently practice singing at home, resulting in rapid improvement but still laughingly saying that it was just to 'cheat for a meal' and originally only intended to 'usher'. However, his wife also does not mind him singing at home: "My wife doesn't listen to me sing". However, Edwin revealed that Kenneth used the line 「明明是愛你」 from 《愛情影畫戲》 to express his feelings for his wife. Edwin also expressed his hope to be able to bring his son on a plane for the first time when going to perform in Genting Highlands in Malaysia.

Son Makes Rapid Progress While Priscilla Wong Is Away from Home

Recently, Priscilla has been away from home to shoot a travel programme; the mother and son have only communicated via video call, which has been quite a torture. However, Edwin laughingly said that his son would focus on the conversation for a few seconds before spacing out, and also revealed that his son's learning progressed rapidly while his mother has been away from home: "Also learned more every day. In the past two days, learned how to kiss! After feeding [him], told him to kiss Daddy, and then [he] came over and gave me a kiss". When Priscilla learned that her son had unlocked another achievement while she was away from home, she was jealous. Edwin witnessed a significant moment together: "Hopefully, he has not learned how to walk yet. Wait for her to come back before learning to take his first step". When talking about having children, Kenneth expressed that he and his wife are in agreement: "Leaving it to fate. Now, making money first!"

Yesterday, Kenneth Ma attended "TV Awards Presentation 2025". During an interview on the red carpet, he said there was little confidence in competing for TV king. Mentioning his father's passing earlier, he said that the posthumous matters have not been completed yet and expressed, "Still feeling quite heavy-hearted. Thanks to everyone for your concern". Kenneth said that his father passed away peacefully in his sleep, which is considered a blessing for his elderly father.

Says That Wife Roxanne Tong Is Experiencing Insomnia

During the interview, Kenneth suddenly burst into tears when recollecting about his father. He said, "My father sometimes told me that I have already started a family and also have to take care of my father and mother. He was also scared of it being hard for me. I also always told him that I don't have much pressure and that I could live for a few decades more". When talking about the last time he had interacted with his father, he expressed, "Talking to him in the hospital".

When asked if there was a regret that his father's dream of having a grandchild was unfulfilled, he said, "Actually, he did not push it, but thinking back, if there were a grandchild sooner, he would have been happier! Unfortunately, already cannot do anything about it to make it come true. Hope that he's watching over me from heaven". As for whether he would try to spend more time with his mother, he frankly said that he would definitely spend more time with her; however, there are many family issues to deal with at the moment. Speaking of his wife, Roxanne Tong, being said to have gained weight, Kenneth expressed, "There was a period of time when she was also not sleeping well and also had insomnia. As a man, I have to support my family and take care of my wife and home". Kenneth continued saying that he is grateful to his wife for being by his side all along.

"TVB 58th Anniversary Gala" was held tonight. Samantha Ko, Kenneth Ma, and Moses Chan were the last to walk on the red carpet. Samantha wore a yellow off-shoulder dress that revealed half of her back to take on the group of juniors with sexy outfits. She said, "I think that it's extremely good that everyone dresses up nicely for the anniversary gala. Support them to dress up nicely. I am also not that old...there are no seniors or juniors. My dress is see-through. Look at how pretty my back is. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder". Asking about Kenneth's and Moses' 'conservative' attire, Kenneth laughingly asked, "Huh? Guys also have to be (sexy)? Leave it to the younger ones". Samantha added that she saw that many male juniors were dressed 'refreshingly', specifically mentioning that she saw Chow Ka Lok without an undershirt: "He had a bit of his chest out...seemed topless in front of me. I also felt a little embarrassed".

Asked if there was confidence in winning the big anniversary prizes, Samantha said that she wants to win cash, having previously won $100,000 in a variety programme and a smaller prize at an anniversary gala; thus, she looks forward to winning a big prize tonight. Kenneth's and Moses' greatest bliss is taking good wives, so leaving the lucky draw to Samantha. Moses laughingly said that, all these years, he has gained nothing.

Kenneth expressed that he will be performing a catwalk and has already asked Moses, who used to be a model, for advice. Asking about his 'early deaths' in two of the anniversary series, he said, "It's just filming series. Dying early or late also doesn't matter. (Has your confidence in competing for the TV king award declined?) This year, the competition is so strong. There's Roger Kwok, Bowie Lam, Moses, and Bosco Wong. It's also a good thing that there were no series that [I] starred in this year. There's also no use competing". At the end, Samantha was asked about the black-and-white stills that she had uploaded on her social media the other day, which some netizens had mistaken that she had taken pictures at Benz Hui's funeral. She said, "Actually, I don't need to explain anything that I do to anyone".

Charmaine Sheh Pays Attention to Online Reviews, Confident in the Ratings: "Have Already Done Our Best"

Charmaine Sheh, Hera Chan, Venus Wong, Kenneth Ma, et al. attended the opening ceremony of the exhibition for TVB's anniversary series, "The QUEEN of News 2", at Hung Hom today. During the event, Charmaine, Hera, and Venus each brought stills from the series and shared unforgettable scenes from the series. Charmaine joked that Bosco Wong treated her too poorly in the series, so he did not dare to come. She chose a still from the first episode where she was holding a camera on a helicopter, explaining that it represented her strong comeback. "Originally, the filming only asked to open the window; however, because it had to be done to the extreme, I requested opening the door during the flight when filming. Already had a seatbelt on, so it was very safe".

Charmaine said that she believes that the viewers who supported "The QUEEN of News" will also continue to support the new installment. In addition to the original cast, new characters, including Bosco Wong and Patricia Ha, have joined; the plot will be even more exciting.

Already airing in Mainland and generating a lot of buzz online, she said that she saw praise and criticism in the comments, with some viewers feeling that 「Man姐」 is not as strong as in the previous installment. As for whether there was confidence in the ratings when airing in Hong Kong, she said, "Must have confidence, but whether the results are good or not depends on everyone. We have already done our best and had already enjoyed the filming process. Handing over the outcome to everyone".

Kenneth Ma Responds to Immediately Dying Upon Appearing in the First Episode: "Everyone Has to Continue Watching"

Kenneth, whose characters died in the first episode of two consecutive series, laughingly said, "Dying in the first episode of 'The Queen of Castle" was not classic enough. Dying in the first scene of 'QUEEN' was truly legendary. Everyone has to continue watching. It's not so simple as just dying".

Kenneth prefers his character in the second installment than in the first because every storyline that [he] appeared in in the new installment had something to do. As for the memorial portrait being circulated, he said, "It's just the character's memorial portrait; I don't mind. Life isn't about the length; it's about whether it's exciting. I have also died many times in series before. In the series where Benz Hui played my father, I also had to die. Everyone does not have to be surprised. However, dying means fewer episodes. Have to carry two series now...have to catch up on the episodes".

In addition, Gabriel Harrison, whom he had previously worked with, is crowdfunding online for his wife's surgical fees. He said, "I also just found out. Don't know how [I] can help yet. He's also very happy when filming series...would sometimes even sing. Hope that his wife will be all right".

Artistes Samantha Ko and Kenneth Ma made a grand appearance at TVB's Sales Presentation this afternoon. Samantha stole the spotlight in a black backless evening gown. She stars in four series, including "The Airport Diary II", "Martial Arts World", "The Game of the Married", and "The Radiant City", while Kenneth is responsible for starring in "Airport", "Game", and "Wars of the Roses". The two collaborated in two of these series, which explains why Samantha joked, "Feel very safe following Kenneth all day today. The company should add an onscreen couple or golden combination award. Then we'd have a chance to win".

Despite their busy work schedules, both expressed being quite happy. Samantha is grateful to the company and the producers for the opportunities, while Kenneth admitted that, because there are fewer opportunities to film series than before, [he] particularly cherishes it. Currently working on two series, [he] has to travel back and forth between Hong Kong and Shenzhen, and while [he] looks tired, [he] also does not find it a problem. As for the other series, "Radiant", filming had been halted for a period of time due to script issues. Samantha revealed, "Received all of the scripts. The schedule has already been arranged. Should be commencing work in early November. (Can what was previously shot still be used?) Well, it depends on the arrangement of the producer and director. The plot is the same, so it should be usable. My character has fewer changes, while others have more changes, but the plot is even more captivating. (Can it make it in time to release this year?) It should be next year. We are shooting until next January. Can have time off during the Lunar New Year".

Talking about the deceased senior Benz Hui, Samantha immediately broke down emotionally with tears rolling down and was almost unable to speak. [Her] voice was shaking as [she] responded, "Went to see him yesterday. It was sudden. Very grateful to have met him in this life. I always play his daughter, so I also call him 'Dad' in private...." Then [she] choked up. Kenneth took over, "Remember when I just came out...acting was immature and got scolded by Benz. He asked me, 'Isn't it better for me to scold you now than to be scolded by viewers the next day?' Thus, I always tell people in interviews that he is actually my idol. I want to learn his acting and to not socialize so much, and focus on doing a good job as an actor. It's really a pity that such a good senior has left".

Jessica Hsuan, Alice Chan, Ruco Chan, Moon Lau, Kent Tong, Angel Chiang, Celina Harto, and Mason Fung appeared at a shopping mall to attend a promotional event for "The Queen of Castle". "Stars Academy"'s Windy Zhan appeared to perform the series' [theme] song, 《序章.結局》. Kenneth Ma made a surprise appearance at the end and unveiled the good result of exceeding 200 million clicks on a Mainland streaming platform. Producer Chung Shu Kai went on the stage with crutches, revealing a foot injury. Kenneth returned to Hong Kong from Shanghai today to attend the promotional event. Initially, he was also worried that a flight delay would cause [him] to not be able to make it. Now, [he] is filming "Wars of the Roses" and "The Airport Diary II" at the same time. Also wanted to come promote previously but was unable to do so.

Jessica expressed on stage that she thinks that Ruco could win TV king again with this series. Ruco laughingly said that, because Kenneth died in a plane crash in the first episode, someone with the least screen time may also have a chance to be nominated for TV king. Is he confident in winning the TV king award again? He expressed that he would not, admitting that he had not performed his best. Fortunately, other actors were able to complement one another. [He] feels that viewers really like watching series with a big cast. He also really likes the star-studded "Triumph in the Skies" back then, hoping that viewers watch many series again; then [he] would be happy. Ruco revealed that he has been eating irregularly recently. His wife, Phoebe Sin, took him to Shenzhen to try out a mugwort and ginger treatment, becoming a 'human BBQ'. He expressed that it was his first time trying it; it helps to dispel cold, improve blood circulation, and improve digestion.

Moon expressed that they took care of her during filming. They expressed that they see each other day and night when filming series, seeing [them] more than their family. They are colleagues and friends...would remind and guide [them]. Ruco and Phoebe celebrated their seventh wedding anniversary this year and shot a set of commemorative pictures. Kenneth expressed that it is his second wedding anniversary soon; there are plans to go on a trip because his wife, Roxanne Tong, likes to travel. [He] promised his wife that, after [he] finishes his two series, [he] will accompany her on a trip, pointing out that his wife was only playfully complaining previously and is actually genuinely happy for him to have work.

In addition, regarding Nancy Wu's marriage, Ruco expressed that he is very happy for her and felt very surprised, and thought that the wedding pictures were very beautiful. The world of two is also very romantic...would give her [his] blessing.

TV queen Nancy Wu announced good news on Mid-Autumn Festival today, announcing out of the blue that she had gotten married to her doctor boyfriend, Akin Chan, on October 3rd. Kenneth Ma, who previously dated Nancy, was recording the TVB anniversary special programme "Game of Scholars" today. Regarding his ex finding true love and getting married, Kenneth expressed previously not knowing about it all and had only known about it after she had announced it; it was extremely secretive. "Actually, I was previously working with her good sister, Elaine Yiu, in Shenzhen, and she also did not mention it at all. I'm thinking that Elaine already knew about it earlier on but was great at keeping it a secret".

He said, "Really very happy! Congratuations to them on growing old together, loving one another, and being in good health. It's very important that both husband and wife are in good health. Everyone is also quite happy to receive this surprise during the Mid-Autumn Festival...reuniting under the full moon!" When asked if he, as a married man, has any tips for getting along as a married couple that he could share with Nancy, he laughingly said that he does not know how to teach others, but the two must have gotten married because there are no problems getting along with another. He expressed that he has not seen the groom in person. Has only seen [him] in pictures, highly praising the two for already being well-matched just from looking at the pictures. Will personally be sending a text message to congratulate Nancy. He is currently busy working on the new series "Wars of the Roses" and "The Airport Diary II". Kenneth is apologetic for not having time to spend with his wife for the time being: "However, I am planning on finishing the things at hand, and then we can go on a trip and spend more time with her".

Kenneth expressed that he has to wear a school uniform for the programme "Game". He made fun of himself, saying that he was a bit scared, having not worn a school uniform for nearly 40 years, bringing to mind his school days when he was preoccupied with playing soccer. Was he popular with his female classmates? He said that he attended a boys' school. Regarding the programme testing elementary and high school subjects, Kenneth laughingly said, "Scared. There are even kindergarten questions. Think that [I] definitely would not know the answers; thus, I am playing a bad student...not studying for the test".

Kenneth said that his academic results were in the middle in school...just passing. [If] he does not know anything, how would he teach his children if he were to become a father in the future? He immediately said, "Relying on my wife or hiring a tutor. My wife should also be okay. I would be in the sports department, but there is no good news yet. [If] there is, would announce it. Would not deceive everyone".

Kenneth Ma Receives Complaints About Carrying Two Series, Flying with His Wife to Cajole Her; Chow Ka Lok Distracted by Looking at Flight Attendants When Pursuing Tiffany Lau

CREDIT IF REPOSTED

ontv Clip

Artistes Kenneth Ma, Tiffany Lau, Chow Ka Lok, Ellyn Ngai, Krysella Wong, Yumi Chung, et al. have been doing location filming at the airport for the new TVB series "The Airport Diary II", attracting many residents and tourists to watch. Kenneth, who played a member of management in the previous installment, has been promoted to an even higher level this time; the newly joined Chow Ka Lok is playing his apprentice. The scene was about Tiffany being pursued by Chow Ka Lok, becoming increasingly frustrated and seeking help from her ex, Kenneth, grabbing him by the collar in a fit of rage!

When asked how she would handle being pursued in real life, Tiffany laughingly said that she has never experienced it before, so she did not know the answer, and jokingly said that the most difficult to handle was not Chow Ka Lok but the sheer amount of professional dialogue, revealing that she often fumbled her words and NG-ed. Her partner, Kenneth, quickly spoke in her favour, expressing that even he, who is used to speaking Chinese, was challenged, let alone the 'Western girl' Tiffany: "There was some English dialogue before, and she said it so smoothly!" Speaking about his busy work schedule and not having time to spend with his wife, he revealed that he would finish filming both series by December...would then take his wife on a trip to make up for it.

Chow Ka Lok feels excited about joining 'Airport', expressing that he greatly looks forward to going to places that are normally difficult to enter, such as visiting and filming in restricted areas and the airport control room. When asked if he loves airplanes like many guys, he laughingly said, "Actually, I am not that interested. (What about flight attendants?) More fascinated by them...ha ha! He revealed that he will be pursuing Tiffany in the series. Mentioning that Kenneth had a romantic storyline with her in the previous installment, as the apprentice, wouldn't his pursuit this time trigger a master and apprentice showdown? [Chow] Ka Lok laughingly said that the goddess is indeed difficult to pursue, but has to keep it a secret for the time being and does not want to spoil the story.

Ellyn Ngai Filming a Series for the First Time Is an Eye-Opener

As for another scene, which was about Krysella, who plays a passenger placing her overweight luggage on the conveyor belt for weighing with the help of airport employee Yumi, in the end, she was informed by Ellyn, who plays a ground crew, that a surcharge would be charged. The frugal Krysella came up with wearing all the clothes in the luggage, instantly becoming super bloated; the scene was hilarious! In an interview, Krysella laughingly said that, although it was a cameo, she extremly enjoyed this scene. She said, "It's the most dressed-up character that I have ever had since my debut, and it's also the most 'kam' character...ha ha! Thank you, Producer Andy". She laughingly said that she wore at least ten pieces of clothing and four pairs of socks; the costume tryout alone took two hours.

Ellyn, who is filming a series for the first time, laughingly said that filming has been going smoothly so far without any mistakes. Mentioning that she was seen conscientiously memorizing her dialogue even when she did not have to be in position, is she very nervous? She laughingly said, "My short-term memory is very good, so it's okay, but certainly want to do better to avoid slowing down the progress". She, who is an acting newbie, expressed that she previously shot promotional videos that are similar to short series; thus, can also handle it for the time being: "It was a great opportunity to familiarize myself with the process of filming series. It turned out to be different from what I imagined. When [I] was younger, thought that filming would follow the storyline, but actually jumps around and shoots many angles. Have to get a feel about it slowly, starting from the bottom up".
