- Tavia Yeung will play Au Ho Ching (歐皓澄), a lawyer. She is Gallen Lo's disciple, engaging in a 'head-on battle' with Kelly Cheung and Moon Lau at a law firm. Her mentor changed her entire life. Her character has a lot of inner drama, and undergoes different transformations at different stages. There are many court scenes and a lot of dialogue.
- Gallen will play Poon Chak Sang (潘澤生), a barrister with ambitions to become the Department of Justice. He also encountered a family tragedy. Tavia, Kelly, and Moon are his disciples. He greatly adores his disciples. He and Tavia have a mentor-mentee relationship that has experienced something. His relationship with Alice Chan is not simple. He and Joyce Tang are a married couple.
- Alice will will reprise her character, Ko Suk Wah (高淑樺), from "Themis", presenting her story eight years ago, focusing on the mother-son relationship, and explaining why her son later becomes a serial killer. Her character is not as ruthless as in "Themis", but will undergo a transformation from good to bad. She and Gallen had the same mentor and were initially at the same law firm; their relationship goes from good to bad, going from having a good senior-junior relationship to it slowly changing. Everyone thinks that he is a super good man, but she would see through him and will ultimately expose his other side. She has a lot of court dialogue.
- Kelly will play Cheuk Yi Chun (卓以臻), a talented barrister who comes from a rich family. She is the most unpopular character because she often causes trouble. She and Alice work at different law firms; their relationship is sometimes in opposition and sometimes collaborative. She, Tavia, and Moon are all disciples of Gallen; they will fight and scheme against one another, competing to get promoted. In her eyes, her mentor is sacred, and she greatly admires him. In the end, the few disciples would unite to help him.
- Joyce will play Ma Sing Yuet (馬承悅), Gallen's wife. She is not a lawyer. Her character is multifaceted. She is a heavyweight guest appearance.
- Moon will play Cheung Chi On (章梓安), a stern, arrogant, and taciturn barrister. She dislikes everyone and only listens to her mentor, Gallen. She has a great sense of justice. She is full of enthusiasm and strives for success. Because she comes from a grassroots background, she does not need anyone's help and extremely respects her teacher. There is a lot of dialogue in the court scenes.
- Matthew Ho will play Ma Sing Chi (馬承志), Gallen's disciple. He is Joyce's younger brother.
- Ronny Lay will play Lui Kwong Mo (雷光武), a criminal barrister.
- Lucas Yiu is not a lawyer. He seems very calm on the surface, but is actually very suppressed inside. There are some things that have been bothering him for many years. He has many scenes with Gallen.
- So Tin Lok will play Ko Sing Pan (高成彬). His father will not be appearing in the series.

The plot is about Stephanie suddenly 'awakening' and flying from Hong Kong to Canada to move into the home of her single mother daughter, Jinny, determined to recapture lost time and the feeling of first love.... It turns out that, back then, Stephanie had a major falling out with Jinny because she insisted on giving birth to her daughter, Desta. Now, Stephanie suddenly and unexpectedly enters and disrupts Jinny's life, and teams up with her granddaughter, whom she gets along with, causing a series of upheavals in the once peaceful Tong family.... At the same time, single mother Jinny also faces a major crisis at work; how will she cope with both her career and family in crisis?
- To enhance its relatability, apart from 'family' and 'generational communication' as its main storylines, it is also incorporating the 'attack of AI', 'restarting life', and 'current events' as selling points to deliver joy and life philosophies while closely following social trends and online buzz, resonating with viewers and providing emotional outlets.
- Stephanie and Desta will have duet scenes.
- Stephanie will play Tong Cho Ka Bing (唐曹嘉冰), a rebellious, carefree, and optimistic dream-chasing grandmother. Born into a traditional Chaozhou family, she now seeks to pursue her lost dreams. She loves her family, is intelligent and strong-willed, and has her own way of doing things; however, sometimes her strong sense of pride makes her seem stubborn and self-willed. She wants to mend her relationship with her daughter but does not know where to begin. "My mental age is possibly younger than you".
- Jinny will play Lesley Tong Man Lei (唐萬里), a stubborn, steel-willed middle-aged woman in the workplace who is tough on the outside but gentle on the inside. The unconventionality in all her life is reflected in her having a child out of wedlock. Afterward, she becomes a pillar of support for her daughter, becoming independent and strong, but also feels somewhat lost as her daughter grows up. She can handle the most difficult public relations crises in Hong Kong, yet she suffers a crushing defeat in the 'three-generation battlefield' of her own humble abode. "All KPIs at work are met, but the KPIs at home all failed".
- Desta will play Tong Sam (唐芯), a quirky, Zen, clear-headed Gen Z. She, who grew up in a single-parent family, possesses a maturity beyond her years. Using the most chill demeanour, she elegantly survives between the two monsters, her grandmother and mother. He, who does not have any new series to film, was asked if he is focusing on singing to make a living. He said, "I am just following Edwin Siu and Raymond Cho in cheating for a meal, but it is indeed more comfortable than filming series".
He expressed that his wife, Roxanne Tong, did not accompany him in the travel: "It's not that it's inconvenient for her, but flying too far is very strenuous; she does not want to fly". In "Lose the Battle, Win the War", Kenneth, who shared the insightful comment that "it is very normal for a husband to occasionally gift a bag to his wife", has been dubbed a 'wife-doting maniac'. He said, "It is very normal. Happy wife, happy life. My wife doesn't have to buy every single bag...only buys what she likes. If something is done without prior notice, the girl might feel uncomfortable; thus, it needs to be communicated clearly beforehand". Jessica Hsuan Takes on Her First Action Scene, Entirely Relying on Louis Koo's Guidance

Louis Koo, Jessica Hsuan, and Raymond Lam, the 'golden combination' from the movie "Back to the Past", reunited for a commercial shoot. Louis and Jessica transformed into 'Mr. & Mrs.' and had a kitchen showdown. Raymond, who played 'Chan Lok Kwan' in "Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In", suddenly burst into the room; Louis immediately responded with his signature 'tornado' pose.
Jessica, who took on an action scene for the first time, was the most grateful to Louis for his patient guidance: "Everyone also knows that I often play hostages and rarely initiate fights, so [I] have never shot such intense action scenes before. Initially, was worried about my arms and legs being uncoordinated and not being able to execute the series of movements smoothly and naturally. Luckily, Louis is very experienced and meticulously rehearsed the moves with me beforehand, and told me not to worry about hurting him and to just go for it, so was able to make me look like a martial arts master. Maybe next time I can play a female assassin or a female kidnapper...ha ha!" Louis, in his usual humourous manner, said, "Everyone often sees Jessica 'stealthily striking' me at events or interviews, so she certainly has talent; thus, it can be said that [she] understands things immediately. During the shoot, also felt the desire to kill in her eyes, plus her incredible strength. Believe that she did take the opportunity to 'use [her] official position to avenge a personal grudge'...ha ha!" He also suggested that Jessica could act in a musical. Samantha Ko Does Not Know When "This City Never Sleeps" Will Air, Kenneth Ma Holds Concerts as a Singer by Getting a Free Ride

Tavia Yeung and Joyce Tang Join "Model Lawyer Team"

The TVB series "Themis", starring TV queen Charmaine Sheh and Alice Chan, released earlier, achieving excellent ratings and feedback. The executive producer, Chung Shu Kai, is taking the opprtunity to announce the filming of the prequel "Model Lawyer Team". It is known that the timeline of the plot is approximately eight years before the events of "Themis" and will focus on the past of Alice's character. Apart from having many court cases linking the entire series, the 'battleground' will shift from the juvenile court to the adult courtroom. In terms of the cast, apart from the previously revealed Alice, Kelly Cheung, Moon Lau, and Gallen Lo, who has not done TVB series for a while, it turns out that this series also has two major 'aces', Tavia Yeung and Joyce Tang, joining!
"Model" is tentatively set to officially start filming at the end of next month and will be shot in both Mainland and Hong Kong. Joyce will be acting as a married couple with three-time TV king Gallen, and [her] role is quite important, having a crucial function in the series. Talking about this 'new partner', Gallen highly praised her exceptional memory and said, "Previously, I kept seeing her promotional videos and live streams for 'Back to the Past' on video playforms. Tavia, who filmed the grand production "Wars of the Roses" last year, is filming again by taking part in "Model", which is believed to have been driven by the co-stars and the script. In the series, she is acting as Gallen's disciple, engaging in a 'head-on battle' with Kelly and Moon at a law firm...a role that is full of challenges. She is very excited to be able to 'go head-to-head' with Gallen this time, and said that she is "both nervous and looking forward to it".
Talking about [her] role this time, Tavia revealed in an interview the other day: "Actually, I have also played lawyers before, but not considered to have had much experience with this kind of subject matter, so it is also a fresh challenge".

Tavia, who filmed the grand production "Wars of the Roses" last year, is filming again by taking part in "Model", which is believed to have been driven by the co-stars and the script. In the series, she is acting as Gallen's disciple, engaging in a 'head-on battle' with Kelly and Moon at a law firm...a role that is full of challenges. She is very excited to be able to 'go head-to-head' with Gallen this time, and said that she is "both nervous and looking forward to it".

Chung Shu Kai Hopes to Start Filming "Model Lawyer Team" in May, Alice Chan Looks Forward to Working with Gallen Lo

Apart from becoming the top-rated [series] in the first half of the year, it has accumulated over 420 million views on a Mainland streaming platform. Thus, TVB is taking advantage of the situation to film the prequel "Model Lawyer Team", focusing on Alice Chan's character, revealing her mysterious past as she transforms into 「高淑樺」 and becomes a mother. Apart from having several court cases as stories, it will also interweave the open and veiled strife among lawyers for the position of chief lawyer, shifting the battleground from the juvenile court of "Themis" to the adult courtroom. The script production is currently in full swing, with filming tentatively scheduled to commence in June, which is earlier than the spin-off of "The QUEEN of News", "Information Officer Hui Si Ching", starring Samantha Ko.
No Difficulty in Playing a Lawyer Again
In terms of casting, the female lead this time is Alice. Most of the characters from "Themis" will not appear, with TVB's two fa dans, Kelly Cheung and Moon Lau, taking over. In addition, three-time TV king Gallen Lo is also in talks and could potentially join the cast! In an interview with on.cc, Alice remained tight-lipped about all of the details of the new series and only expressed, "How come so incredible at getting inside information? Everything is in the confidential stage. Leave it to the official announcement!"
Kelly, who is currently on holidays, admitted to doing preparations for the new series: "Have to have a meeting with Director Kai (Chung Shu Kai) soon to hear the story". She said that she has always been chasing "Themis" and is very happy to take part in filming the prequel: "I really like Alice's character in the series. Recently worked with her in 'This City Never Sleeps'...greatly looking forward to collaborating again". (Have you played a lawyer before?) I played one in 'Legal Mavericks 2020'. Really like playing a lawyer. Being able to play one again, greatly looking forward to it! Believe that the lines won't be difficult for me. I like playing professionals. Also had a lot of lines when playing a doctor before, so playing a lawyer shouldn't be a problem". As for Moon, she revealed that, for the time being, she knows very little about the new series: "[After] I'm done being busy with [my] Foshan concert on May 2nd, I'll be preparing for the new series. Although the character and the plot are not known yet, know that the story is about lawyers. I am greatly looking forward to it. Hope to be able to do better and have a bigger breakthrough". She expressed that she has experience playing lawyers: "I played a trainee lawyer in my first series, 'Raising the Bar'. In 'The Queen of Castle', [I] played a lawyer who specializes in medical malpractice lawsuits. I feel that I have quite a bit of fate with this subject matter and this profession. Ha ha!" The city's sweetest CP, Louis Koo and Jessica Hsuan, teamed up for the first time, collaborating with McDonald's Hong Kong to release their first duet, 《無時空之戀》.
Louis expressed, "Jessica and I have worked together in series and movies for so many years, but we have never sung a duet before. Thus, this time, really wanted to surprise everyone, and it's also a great opportunity for us to fulfill [our] dream of singing together. Previously, when filming, we were even photographed holding holds at the beach, but could not say what plans we had. Now, able to finally share with everyone that Jessica and I are respectively playing McDonald's 'shogun' and 'egg'!"

- The series is not a comedy, but there is some dark humour. The script explores profound family relationships. It is figuring out what is the most important in life. When you only have once chance to do something, what would you choose? Money, fame, or status? In the series, there are many critical moments, steadily revealing the choices that people make.
- The plot is about Bob Lam, whose soul leaves his body after becoming a person in a vegetative state after getting attacked in revenge. Him Law gets possessed by Bob's soul, and is later guided by Bob to infiltrate the triads to investigate the attack.
- Him will play Hui Ka Yau (許家佑), a traffic cop who abides by the law and does his duty. He has a sense of justice, compassion, and empathy. He is a warm guy. He is playing two characters. He is a loyal and warm-hearted cop; however, after he gets possessed by Bob's soul, he reveals his domineering and ruthless nature as a triad boss, and there are also scenes where there is inner conflict between the two characters' souls. He has to imitate Bob's mannerisms, and there are even scenes of being in perfect sync. He has romantic storylines with Venus Wong, Winki Lai, and Kelly Fu but mainly with Venus and Kelly. He has physical contact with Winki. There are a few scenes where he shows off his muscles, such as wearing a tank top and taking a shower.
- Bob will play Ko Tin (高天), a vicious, sinister, cunning, and ruthless triad boss who becomes a person in a vegetative state due to a traffic accident. During this, his soul leaves his body, and he enters Him's body. Although he is successful in his work, he is poor at handling his family matters. Venus is his daughter, while Alex Yung is his son. His brothers in the underworld call him 「天爺」. The producer and director hope for him to act in a serious manner, hoping that the outcome would be both comedic and dramatic. He has many scenes with Him. After his character is in a vegetative state, he can only observe Him's physical interactions with other female characters from a spiritual perspective; he can only have partnering scenes on a spiritual and emotional level.
- Venus will play Ko Fong Ting (高方廷), a lawyer with a cold personality. She is Bob's daughter and Alex's elder sister. She has a great sense of justice; however, due to her background, she has a lot of struggles. She frequently crosses the boundaries, but Him often appears to protect her. Him and Kelly are a pair, but fate arranges for her to get involved, though it is not a love triangle. She and Him have sparks, but they will not date, and there are no passionate scenes.
- Winki Lai will play Yu Lai San (余麗晨), Bob's confidante; they have a subtle relationship. She has an emotional interaction with Bob; however, with Him, it is a physical interaction, getting entangled in a triangular relationship. She and Him will have a passionate scene, but it is not considered very intense; it is very gentle. She has many lovers. She has a few close contact scenes with Aska Cheung. When she has physical contact with other people, she would think of Bob. She often wears short skirts. She is also called 「Sunny姐」.
- Kelly will play Kelly Lam Hoi Lei (林凱莉), Him's girlfriend. She also has many romantic scenes with Bob, who possesses Him's body.
- Alex will play Ko Fong Kit (高方杰), Bob's spoiled son. He is an arrogant second-generation triad member who causes trouble and considers himself the best in the world. He is very brave, and his personality is as ruthless as his father's. He thinks that whatever he does is right. He has plenty of fight scenes that lean toward gang fights. He is a crazy antagonist with an irritable personaliry.
- Aska will play Lam Sing Fung (林成峰), Bob's loyal bodyguard. He has fight scenes. He is usually quiet but is secretly quite gossipy.
- Wai Ka Hung will play Leung Sam (梁森). He is also called 「森記」.
- Eric Tang will play Chan Wai Lim (陳威廉), a gangster. He is Amber Chan's father. He is also called 「雞廉」.
- King Lam will play 「華哥」.
- Tsui Wing will play Wong Ting Lai (黃霆禮), a cop.
- Kelvin Liu will play 「爆徐」.
- Ivan Yau will play 「阿孝」a gangster. He is King's underling; however, a lot of the times, when they have meetings, King does not appear due to his illness, so he is King's spokesperson.
- Gordon Ip will play a gangster.
- Amber will play Chan Ho Yi (陳皓兒), a shrewish gangster who is a big-mouth. She is Eric's daughter.
