Kenneth Ma Gets 'Tuned' by His Wife to Learn the Art of Romance and Create Surprises

CREDIT IF REPOSTED

TVB Clip

Kenneth Ma has steadily built his career, taking one solid step at a time to reach his current first-line position; he has also approached his love life at his own pace, eventually finding the right person. He and Roxanne Tong tied the knot in 2023; three years into marriage, Kenneth still looks sweet when talking about his wife, expressing, "She also always makes me very sweet".

"My wife is very funny. She really has a flair for performing. Is always doing things that are very funny in front of me, like she would suddenly imitate people and imitate voices...sometimes imitating the expressions of [our] two cats. I also think that her impressions are spot-on. However, perhaps the roles that TVB gives her are those of pretty girls and innocent people...has not encountered a role that is suitable for her to play yet, so she has not showcased this side".

He frankly said that there has not been a great change since getting married, as he and his wife are both homebodies who enjoy the time spent at home. However, there would bound to be a period of adjustment when two people are getting along with one another, which Kenneth says is a normal thing; the key is mutual compromise, as 'love' leads to being unconsciously influenced by one another. "For instance, in the past, I never allowed anyone to eat in my car, but my wife really likes to eat in the vehicle...slowly made me feel that it's not a big deal".

[You] reveal [your] truest emotions to the person closest to [you]. Kenneth frankly said that he and his wife have certainly quarrelled; however, at a certain point, they would both stop and take some time to cool off.

"Once the heat of the moment passes, we would talk discuss the matter again. We are both that kind of person. When talking about it again afterward, they turn out to be trivial matters; thus, as long as you calm down in that instant, not continue yelling, and not say words that hurt the other person, it'll quickly be all right".

He said that they would both cajole the other: "Sometimes my wife gets a bit temperamental, and she would apologize to me afterward. Other times, the guy loses [his] temper and overreacts to trivial things; I would also apologize".

The pragmatic Kenneth has never been associated with 'romance' in the past; the him now, in order to make his wife smile, the naturally blank [person] has also learned the art of romance and how to create surprises: "I'm not really the type of person who makes a big deal out of special occasions. Have gradually learned to do so now. Give her a surprise every now and then. Have found some things to give to her that she did not expect, and she was also delightfully surprised".

He believes that romance is built through the little things in life, not necessarily requiring extravagant surprises. "The things that she's mentioned or [her] personal habits...you naturally accommodate her, and she already finds it really romantic. Of course, also have to have some occasionally, such as [our] wedding anniversary or her birthday...the guy also has to come up with some surprises".

"Miss Hong Kong Pageant 2026" is having its grand final tonight. Before the new top three winners are crowned, a red carpet ceremony was held. Kenneth Ma, who is making his debut as a Miss Hong Kong host, appeared alongside his good brothers, Edwin Siu, who was wearing a deep V, and Raymond Cho. When interviewed by the hosts, Kenneth repeatedly expressed his anxiety: "Being the host of Miss Hong Kong for the first time, I am very scared...legs are also shaking". Also pointed out that [he] has already prepared beforehand, which is the seeking-for-help look, asking Luk Ho Ming, who is experienced in hosting, to come to the rescue at any time.

When Kenneth, Edwin, and Raymond were interviewed again, Kenneth was still saying that he was nervous: "Just got back from completing a fan meeting in Mainland. Also did not have time to rehearse, so very nervous. Believe that [I] will still be feeling this nervous after completing the programme and getting home". Raymond shared the sentiment, saying, "More nerve-wracking than holding a concert". Also pointed out that Edwin has experience hosting Miss Kong, laughingly saying, "[If we] mess up this time, it'll be Edwin's fault". Edwin expressed, "The three of us are in this together--we sink or swim as one. Giving it our all. We're actually also very happy that the company has given the three of us such a big show. Doing it with apprehension and caution, but hope to be able to put on a good show!" Raymond also expressed his hope to perform very well. Asked if he had given his good brothers some tips, Edwin expressed that there was no need, as each of them also had his own showing point. For instance, for Kenneth, it is definitely the natural blankness, while Raymond frequently makes blunders; thus, everyone does not need to find it very strange. Edwin said that, because the three had just released the new song 《三生有幸》, even intially thought that [they] had been invited as guest performers for the Miss Hong Kong final. Asked if [they] would take the opportunity to sing a few words, he said, "Already need a while to memorize the script, how would [I] be able to remember the song lyrics, too?"

Mentioning that the three are responsible for asking the contestants questions during the swimsuit segment, the three immediately became excited. Kenneth jokingly said that Edwin had already been waiting for many years. Edwin inmediately expressed, "If not, would not do it (host)". Raymond also frankly said, "The most happy thing is this part!" The three also highly praised the 12 contestants for already displaying great charm during rehearsals, being more quick-witted than they are.

Did they tell their other halves after founding out that they had to host Miss Hong Kong? Edwin said that his wife trusts him, so would not be suspicious of them or say something to give them a hard time about it. Raymond jokingly said that he had not spoken to his wife since finding out. Kenneth expressed that he actually told his wife to not watch it...afraid of letting [her] see [his] blundering performance.

Kenneth also said that he would rather have dead air than say the wrong thing on stage because there are numerous executives present in the audience, causing Edwin to to say with added psychological pressure, "Was not nervous originally, but hearing him say that makes [me] nervous, too". As for Edwin's sexy look, he said that it was related to the Hong Kong contestants: "Everyone has also worked so hard to lose ten-plus pounds. I also cannot lose face. Have also been exercising for the past few weeks. Hope to unintentionally expose [myself]. Actually, the outfit was chosen by the designer; there was only one available". Kenneth also said that [he] did not have a choice in the matter; otherwise, would not have to act as a host, but it is also a happy matter. Edwin also said that he believes that this collaboration would definitely be a wonderful memory for them...even heard that there is a chance to collaborate again on a variety programme.

Regarding Tong Chun Chung coming back out, Kenneth pointed out that his father-in-law has always had commercial performances...simply has not filmed a series for a long time, and also said that, if he were to hold another concert, would consider inviting his father-in-law as a guest performer. However, his father-in-law is very busy...have to ask the elder about his wishes first. Finally, talking about Chantel Yiu, who had tried to send him a letter as a young fan when she was in primary school, Edwin said, "I only knew about it much later. If [I] had known sooner, she probably would have made her debut even earlier".

Kenneth Ma Nervous to the Point of Legs Shaking in Hosting Debut, Passes with 'Natural Blankness'

"Miss Hong Kong Pageant 2026" concluded successfully [tonight]. TV king Kenneth, who acted as one of the hosts for the first time, admitted before the show that he was so nervous that his legs were shaking; however, in the end, there were no major blunders, successfully completing the mission by using his signature 'natural blankness' on stage. After the show, Kenneth accepted an interview with his two partners, Edwin and Raymond. When Kenneth was asked to rate his performance, he said, "I don't dare to give [myself] a score. I am still memorizing 「轉頭見」 and 「出年見」!" Edwin and Raymond laughingly said that it felt as if a weight had been lifted from their shoulders, pointing out that there was no problem with Kenneth's performance. Edwin said, "It was okay. Actually, the three of us are often together. If one were missing, it would feel incomplete. Whether things go well or not, the three of us would also face it together". Raymond jokingly said, "If [you] even mess up saying 'see you in a bit' and 'see you next year', would actually have to get [your] contract terminated!"

Asked if [he] would consider hosting if the company invited [him] again next year, Kenneth laughingly said that the company likely would not consider it. Asked if the emcee script was tailored specifically for him, he said, "Definitely. They wrote the script to accommodate me. Definitely have to give credit to Luk Ho Ming and Leonard Cheng; they took all the tough, technical stuff. Next, it was Edwin and Raymond, and I got whatever was left over. Next time, what [I] hope for the most is that [they] leave me with a single word...ha ha".

Kenneth Ma Gets Wife's Green Light to 'Romance' Samantha Ko, Brilliantly Acts Out a Warm Guy, Vows to Be a Doting Dad Who Pampers His Daughter

CREDIT IF REPOSTED

stheadline Clip

Kenneth Ma has reunited with his good friend, Samantha Ko, in the series "Mrs. Revenge"; this onscreen couple has collaborated from "Go! Go! Go! Operation C9" and "The Airport Diary" to "The QUEEN of News". This time, in the series, Kenneth has transformed into a warm guy who watches over Samantha from afar. He expressed, "This time, the role is rather simple. Is a warm guy...is an exclusive angel to Samantha in the series. Perhaps her character is too pitiable, so the screenwriters arrranged for someone to go guard her". Asked if being a warm guy would be very difficult, Kenneth laughingly said that the character in the series is too perfect...may be very difficult to appear in real life: "Usually, if a good man is also good to every female in the series, he is a typical male lead. However, it's different this time. He is only good to Samantha; that's the character's most appealing part. He is the most faithful guy!"

In real life, Kenneth is known as a male artiste with zero negative comments. Asked about his most warm guy actions in his daily life, he laughingly said, "The most basic is having to take care of [my] family--the family with my mother and the family with my wife. A man has to support two households...it is a very natural thing. The most important thing is having a sense of responsibility; however, many males at TVB also have a sense of responsibility, such as Moses Chan, Ruco Chan, Shaun Tam, et al. Even Cheung Wing Hong, who plays the antagonist in the series, is a man who loves his wife".

Kenneth Ma Unlocks the Achievement of Zero Negative Comments

Talking of his frequent collaborations with Samantha, Kenneth laughingly said, "Samantha is the only female I do not need to report to my wife about when filming. She and Samantha are too familiar with one another. With other partners, would also mention it. It is only when collaborating with Samantha that my wife would say, 'No need to tell me. Just go ahead and film it!' Thus, I also do not worry about filming with Samantha on whatever acting project. She is the only female who has my wife's seal of approval". Kenneth laughingly said that, when he became familiar with [Roxanne] Tong, already knew that she and Samantha were extremely good friends: "They are good besties. Before my wife and I started [dating], the two of them had already discussed it and had asked each other's opinion". Kenneth also really wants to help his good friend, Samantha, find a partner: "However, it's extremely difficult because she is on too high of a level. Have to select very carefully for her. I am also anxious on her behalf!"

Kenneth Ma Refuses to Hold Solo Shows, Fears He Might 'Faint'

Kenneth has recently embarked on a singing career, holding shows everywhere with his good brothers, Edwin Siu and Raymond Cho. Singing from cities in Mainland to North America, the shows have been non-stop. However, as Edwin and Raymond are joining series productions soon, have to coordinate their schedules in order to be able to continue their singing journey: "Very happy to sing with them. There's no pressure when the three of us are on stage. If I had to sing over 20 songs alone on stage, would probably faint! There's actually no pressure with them. Furthermore, we are also very easygoing...don't fight over things. Sometimes have to push them to the centre spot. It also doesn't matter for a lot of things for us. As long as the three of us all look handsome, it's okay!"

Asking Kenneth if there were a chance he might perform solo, he immediately declined: "Would probably not for concerts! However, I am also preparing a fan meeting in Mainland. Was originally scheduled for Chengdu but got postponed due to venue issues!" After preparing in various locations, Kenneth is grateful to have built a fan base in Mainland, laughingly saying that the power of TVB series still exists: "Series have garnered a large audience. When we go to different places to work, everyone would also buy tickets to show his or her support...perhaps it is because it evokes memories of the series. The atmosphere is extremely good!"

Kenneth Ma Says That He Does Not Have a Singing Background

Kenneth laughingly said that he does not have a singing background; thus, the audience does not hold him to a high standard: "Before the first performance, Edwin was also a bit scared when he heard me sing, so he introduced a vocal coach to me". He also laughingly said that he has already improved and is able to feel the impact of concerts, as well as the earning power of this 'side gig'. Because of this, he also plans to continue with it. The three even released the collaborative song 《三生有幸》 to commemorate this friendship: "The lyrics are very meaningful, conveying that encountering every person who cherishes you in life is also a blessing and worth being grateful for". He also frankly said that many clips of his performances have been circulating on Xiaohongshu, attracting numerous job offers for him; thus, this time away from [filming] series is still rewarding.

Kenneth Ma Cherishes His Family Even More After the Pain of Losing His Father

Apart from singing, Kenneth is also devoting his time to his family: "My father passed away late last year, so also want to spend more time with my mother. My wife has a lot of ideas for daily activities, and I would help her carry them out, such as being the driver, etc. Ha ha!" There are more opportunities of being in each other's company, and there are frequent rumours that a good matter is near. Kenneth laughingly said, "It's a very normal thing...just like how it was speculated a few times when we were not married yet. Thanks to everyone for his or her concern. We are also leaving it to fate. (Pictured having children when you got married?) Have. My wife would worry about the issue of parenting. Instilling the right values is indeed quite difficult. When I watch the news, also find that it is quite difficult to raise children...ha ha! However, I am also confident that [we] are able to raise a child with the right values. Believe that it will require a significant investment of time". He admitted that he and his wife have a lot of topics on children: "My wife says that, if we have kids, I would definitely be an indulgent father, and she would be forced to be the 'bad cop'. Can't do anything about it. I feel that dads would also be like this. When I see Edwin with his son, his son would get whatever he wants. If it were a daughter, it would definitely be even more dangerous. Would even give [my] life to her...how could [I] have the heart to scold [her]?! Usually, the dad is the softie, while the mom would handle the discipline. I am very confident that my wife is able to become a reliable mother". As for whether they are actively trying for a baby, Kenneth is trying a 'let-nature-take-its-course' approach, choosing the most natural method to implement it.

Kenneth Ma Has Zero Confidence and Shaking from Fear of Hosting Miss Hong Kong, Reveals That Even Roxanne Tong Scoffed at the Idea, May Get Scolded by All of Hong Kong; Rosita Kwok Has Immense Pressure Performing the Clarinet

Kenneth Ma, Roxanne Ho, Rosita Kwok, Cathy Wong, Cheung Wing Hong, Matthew Ho, et al. attended a promotional event for the series "Mrs. Revenge" today. The actors played a 'kabedon' game at the event. When Cheung Wing Hong was playing with Rosita and Amber Chan, he was immediately teased for only coming to promote as he had luck with the females. When Kenneth was playing with Roxanne Ho and Li Hoi Tung, he kept his distance from the two, even using his strength to push against the cardboard on either side to avoid 'getting kabedon-ed'.

Kenneth Ma Aims to Successfully Navigate the Challenge of Hosting Miss Hong

Kenneth and Rosita will be acting as a host and a guest performer respectively for "Miss Hong Kong Pageant 2026" on Sunday. The two both expressed that they are extremely worried. Kenneth revealed that, after graduating from the training class, the company previously asked him to audition to be a host, but has also not been approached in the 26 years since. Thus, he is very worried about getting him to host this time, saying that, while he, Edwin Siu, and Raymond Cho also usually put each other down and make snide remarks at one another, cannot embarrass the contestants. Have to enliven the atmosphere while helping them, and afraid of his on-the-spot reactions falling short. Can only rely on Edwin and Raymond. He will do his best to not say anything, even preparing for the likelihood of getting scolded by viewers: "I am really very worried. The script that the company has given me has already been simplified as much as possible. Plus, it is a live broadcast, so the pressure is even greater, and I also have not recognized all the Miss Hong Kong contestants yet".

Roxanne Tong Questions Her Husband's Hosting Abilities

Kenneth's wife, Roxanne Tong, was also a Miss Hong Kong contestant. Did he practice with her? He said, "Cannot rehearse for these. Also don't know what questions will be asked, and I also have to react after the answers are given. When my wife found out that I'm going to be a host for Miss Hong Kong, her reaction was, 'Huh? You're going to be a host for Miss Hong Kong?' I really have zero confidence. Hope to make it through unscathed". Mentioning that Edwin had previously acted as a host for Miss Hong Kong but was criticized for fumbling his lines, Kenneth joked that, this time, everyone should be shifting his or her scolding at him instead.

Rosita Kwok Picks Up the Clarinet Again, Practicing Diligently to Avoid Going Off-Key

Rosita, who is acting as a guest performer, is not only singing but will also be playing the clarinet, performing on stage with Edmond Leung, Celina Harto, and Zoie Tse. Rosita expressed that both singing and playing an instrument are challenging, laughingly pointing out that she learned the clarinet for a few years during her school days, but had already put it aside after graduating. Also did not use the clarinet for her talent performance during the Miss Hong Kong Pageant. When [she] picked it up again earlier, immediately played off-key; later, it was considered okay with practice. Hope that it will not go off-key then. Also said that [she] had rehearsed with Edmond. He had offered her advice, and she also sought tips from friends who know how to sing, though whether she takes it in still depends on herself.

Kenneth Ma Does Not Admit to Being the 'Ultimate Warm Guy', Reveals That Wife Roxanne Tong's Home-Cooked Meals Make Father-in-Law Jealous

CREDIT IF REPOSTED

Ming Pao Clip

In the TVB series "Mrs. Revenge", Kenneth Ma plays the 'guardian angel' to female lead Samantha Ko, being described as a true-to-life portrayal and being called the 'ultimate warm guy'. He says that he falls far short of the perfection of his character in the series, revealing that he and his wife, Roxanne Tong, have been married for two years; the key to getting along lies in mutual accommodation. Kenneth highly praised his wife for changing for love, frequently making home-cooked meals, which has made his father-in-law, Tong Chun Chung, jealous. Kenneth, who lost his father late last year, is even more attentive in caring for his mother, often visiting his mother with his wife. Happy that his wife does not mind three-person outings...the mother-in-law and daughter-in-law get along harmoniously.

Regarding being accepted as the 'ultimate warm guy' within and outside of the series, Kenneth does not agree with it, saying that his character, 「葉家謙」, in the series often acts as a 'guardian angel' by Samantha's side, a character that lives in a fairytale world and is "far more perfect than I am!" However, he agrees that 'companionship' is far more important than using money and material goods to satisfy your family: "As long as [I] am not working, would stay home to play with the cats and chat with my wife, make time to visit [my] original home, accompany my mom on walks or shop hand-in-hand, and even help my elder sister handle various errands".

Kenneth is said to have exceptional 'survival instincts', having a knack for getting along with females. He views it as doing ordinary things; it may be related to growing up in a household with more females: "Ever since I was young, my mom also held my hand. Now, I hold onto her...it's very natural. If the three of us--my wife, my mom, and I--go out together, let my wife hold my mom's hand, while I follow behind carrying things and am responsible for driving, doing my best to accommodate them".

Praises His Wife's Forgiving Nature

Kenneth and Roxanne have remained as loving as ever in their two years of marriage, with their daily life defined by mutual accommodation. Kenneth, who has always loved cars like his own life, revealed that he has relaxed the eating and drinking rules in his car for his wife: "I used to forbid anyone from eating and drinking in my car, but for my wife, it's fine". He highly praised his wife's forgiving nature. [He] went to the US to do a stage performance earlier, and [he] lost [his] wedding ring. [He] was 'waiting to be punished' upon returning to Hong Kong. Roxanne resolved the issue with her life wisdom: "Lost [my] wedding ring in the US...it's a big deal! I was terrified at the time, but had already gotten on the plane and flown back...really cannot find it. Of course, had to come clean to my wife. She did not kick up a fuss at all; instead, was very excited: 'Yay! I can pick out a new style and buy another pair'". Even immediately went online to browse new styles".

After getting married, Roxanne has frequently been rumoured to be pregnant. Kenneth is grateful for his wife putting in so much effort for love and already has her mindset to have a child at any time...willing to slow down her performing arts career for [their] family. Her cooking skills have also improved significantly, surprising the family. Kenneth sweetly said, "I give Roxanne's cooked vegetables 80 points and high praises. Skilled at grilling steak, spaghetti bolognese, and desserts. I also finish everything every time. Even my father-in-law says, 'My daughter has never cooked for me before!'"

Talking about the possibily of developing a husband-and-wife partnership, Kenneth does not mind shooting ads together. If they were to act with each other, his wife has some worries: "Roxanne is afraid that she would not be able to hold in her laughter when she sees me saying my lines. She encourages me to go out more for work so that she can do less".

Wants to Win the Mark Six if He Had the Ability to Foresee the Future

In "Mrs.", Samantha's character has the ability to foresee the future after being reborn. Asking him what he would do if he had such a superpower in real life, Kenneth laughingly said, "It's too stressful to look into the future. What if I see when I'm going to die? Instead, want to travel back to the era when I was born...watch how my parents raised me from afar and see how mischievous I was when I was younger. Or see what my wife looked like when she was younger...should have been very lively". However, in the end, Kenneth still hopes to fulfill his dream of getting rich: "If [I] had the ability to foresee the future, would want to know the winning numbers for the next two Mark Six draws. In the past, I never even won a lucky draw for an eraser before".

Collaborating with Samantha for the fifth time, Kenneth notes their excellent chemistry, shooting their scenes quickly and precisely. Because Samantha is the lead, there was a lot of screentime and immense pressure with little rest, sympathizing with her strain: "She filmed a group scene involving five sisters. I thought that she did a great job, but she was not happy. Felt that it wasn't perfect, so took the initiative to reshoot it. She holds herself to an incredibly high standard". Kenneth highly praised Rosita Kwok for her rapid improvement: "Her real-life personality is silly. Quite successful in portraying a green tea bitch. There was a solo scene at a wedding; after it was finished filming, the entire series crew also applauded her". As for Kayan Yau, who played his unruly younger sister, Kenneth said thar her performance was not bad, laughingly saying that they have an age gap; fortunately, there was no gemeration gap: "I listened to what she shared; young people would also have a stroke of genius".

No Series to Film Yet, Enjoying Lucrative Commercial Performances

Kenneth has recently branched into being a singer, partnering up with Edwin Siu and Raymond Cho to form a 「三生有幸」 concert tour, completing their fifth show in Macau earlier and releasing a single of the same name. TVB has reduced the production of series in recent years. Asking him whether he is worried about his future in the performing arts, Kenneth calmly said, "In the past, filmed five or six series a year...was actually very terrifying. Right now, have not accepted a new series for the time being. Greatly enjoying making money from commercial performances all around. After all, the company pays my salary..would naturally look for me [if] there is a suitable script".

Nancy Wu Returns to Her Roots with the Release of Debut Solo Single "Also Good to Not Know Yet", Revisits Her Primary School Alma Mater to Shoot the MV to Dig Up the Starting Point of Her Musical Dreams

Nancy Wu is officially releasing her debut solo single, 《未知也好》, [on the 26th]. It is a warm, healing track that encourages everyone; even in adulthood, there is no harm in being reckless or losing one's way occasionally. Life does not have a set roadmap that can be duplicated. Facing the uncertainties in life, it is better to learn to relax.

In the past, Nancy primarily sang series songs, requiring her to embody the stories of the characters in the series; this time, the song, from its concept to its content, stems entirely from her own experiences and thoughts, allowing her to interpret it from the heart. The song specially chose a theme of healing and encouragement, inspired by tidbits of life that she heard when communicating with fans and her observations of the many people around her grappling with confusion and the unknown in recent years. Drawing from her own journey, starting out in a singing competition and then constantly discovering herself and gaining recognition as an actor, she proves that life's path is often unpredictable, hoping this song provides companionship and strength to people.

Nancy frankly said that she is very happy to release a song as a singer in 2026, while also being very grateful for her experiences in the performing arts. She expressed, "I was able to apply my actor's mindset to the song 《未知也好》. The me who simply liked to sing back then never would have guessed that I would become an actor, and even discovered myself and gained everyone's support through acting. Having the opportunity to release my own song now, perhaps it is actually the perfect moment". Because of this, Nancy encourages everyone: even if the road ahead is uncertain, simply moving forward step by step not only allows [you] forge you own path but would even encounter unexpected scenery along the way. Just as the lyrics are written: "It is also good to still not know yet. Relax and able to feel it. Will find the answer awaiting just around the bend".

To capture the essence of the lyrics of pursuing one's original passion, Nancy specially returned to her alma mater, St. Anthony's School in Pokfulam, to shoot the new song's MV. She revealed, "The song begins with talking about [my] mindset when studying in school when [I] was young. Singing is my original passion, so without hesitation, felt that the opening scene had to certainly be shot at [my] primary school, St. Athony's School. I already really liked singing in primary school. Was in the choir and served as the lead vocalist at school masses. Music class was [my] favourite. Standing on the school hall stage again for the shoot this time, it felt like going back to my roots and looking back at myself". Apart from thanking the school for providing the venue, she was also thankful to the school for specially arranging to have two young students take part in the performance, representing different stages of her growth.

Apart from returning to her alma mater, through other storylines, the MV also conveyed the message that "no matter [your] age or stage in life, [you] also must take a brave step toward pursuing [your] dreams". The MV invited Max, the founder of a coffee brand, to take part in the performance. Nancy revealed that she had previously seen Max on social media, personally driving around to offer people coffee and documenting the journey from scratch. Was deeply moved by his spirit of daring to try something...believes that this is the encouragement that [she] hopes the new song would bring to people.

Having completed the production of the first song that belongs to her, Nancy greatly looks forward to having even more [music] in the future, continuing to explore and discover herself while focusing on doing what she likes.

Kenneth Ma Obsessed with Cleanliness, Makes an Exception for Roxanne Tong

CREDIT IF REPOSTED

ontv Clip

The TVB series "Mrs. Revenge" is currently airing and has received many good comments after its release. Kenneth Ma, who plays 「葉家謙」, has even been praised for being a good man both on and offscreen. He jokingly said that it may be because Samantha Ko's character in the series had too rough of an experience; the screenwriters, unable to bear it, added a warm guy for her, pointing out that this good man character only exists in fairytales, modestly saying that he himself does not have such good qualifications.

Kenneth and Roxanne Tong officially became husband and wife in 2023. Asked if his mindset or acting approach would have some sort of scruples or inhibitions when playing warm guys or husband roles now that he is married, he frankly said that he also merely follows the script. Of course, have to inform his wife [if] there were intimate scenes, though Roxanne also would not mind, as she is also a professional actor herself. However, Kenneth laughingly pointed out that, after becoming a husband, [he] realized that there is a discrepancy between the husbands in the series and reality: "Filming involves tropes, but in real life, [when] two people live together, truly facing each other for 24 hours a day!" He believes that real-life marriage definitely requires mutual understanding; if only one party makes compromises, this marriage definitely would not last. [He] also pointed out that everyone might assume that he is the only one making concessions for his wife, but there are actually times when Roxanne also makes compromises for him. Kenneth also revealed, "I'm really foolish when it comes to online stuff! For instance, I would find it a hassle to pay electricity bills or gas bills online...can't be bothered to deal with it. Plus, read about so many scams where it is so easy to get the entire account balance drained through online transactions! Actually, my wife is scared of hassles as much as I am, but can't do anything about it because I am not willing to handle it, so she ends up handling it". When asked about the areas where he has to accommodate his wife, he frankly said that he is a person who loves cars, specificially paying attention to the tidiness of the interior; however, his wife loves to eat and drink in the vehicle the most, which also really bothered him at first: "But now, I don't mind anymore. (Because [she is] already your wife?) She is the only person who is allowed to do that...ha ha!" He believes that women should ultimately be accommodated and cherished. Even when in a standoff where each side is holding his or her ground, he also ultimately ends up being the one to 'give way'.

In addition, it was mentioned that he had received positive comments after holding shows in Mainland with his good friends, Edwin Siu and Raymond Cho. When asked if shifting focus to the music scene, given that TVB has reduced the production of series in recent years, might be a good choice, Kenneth frankly said that he still loves acting the most, laughingly pointing out that commercial performances usually only require a few songs; however, the setlist is much longer when holding a show: "These are songs that I had heard of but had never sung before. Later, got dragged off by the two of them to practice singing. After hearing [me] for the first time, Edwin said, '[We're] in trouble!'" He expressed gratitude to his brothers for not giving up on him and for acting as his vocal coaches. Thanks to diligent practice, there has been improvement, and with the support of sponsors, even successfully took their show beyond Asia to the US; he was also pleasantly surprised by the unexpected good news. Asked if [they] would consider forming a boy band in the long run, he said, "No need. The three of us can continue holding concerts. It just so happens that there aren't many series being produced right now. These are opportunities to make money. Plus, many people in Mainland also grew up watching our series. More forgiving of my singing...already satisfied as long as it is not too bad". He pointed out that his wife, Roxanne, often teases him about his mediocre singing skills, laughingly saying that he also agrees, as it is only barely passable, revealing that [he] plans to find a coach to seriously learn how to sing.

Kenneth Ma Forced to Choose Female Partner in the Series, Uses Wife as a Shield

When Kenneth Ma, Samantha Ko, Cathy Wong, Rosita Kwok, Hera Chan, Kayan Yau, Matthew Ho, executive producer Chung Shu Kai, et al. attended a promotional event for the TVB series "Mrs. Revenge" today, Chung Shu Kai praised Rosita for becoming prettier; Rosita laughingly said that she put on the green tea cream and thanked the producer for giving this role. Chung Shu Kai also asked Kenneth which of the series' actresses he would choose; Kenneth laughingly said that he would choose his wife, Roxanne Tong, but Chung Shu Kai laughingly pointed out that he certainly had to choose Hera because she is rich. Hera immediately agreed that money is very important. As for Amber Chan, she was also praised by Chung Shu Kai for acting out her kabedong scene well, initially thinking that it was a natural performance, but it turned out that she had received direction from the director.

When interviewed, Samantha revisited the scene where her character slapped Cheung Wing Hong after receiving a marriage proposal, admitting that, while her expression conveyed a great sense of satifaction at the time, she was actually deeply apologetic during filming: "Slapped him several times to accommodate the camera angles. One was particularly heavy-handed, making a loud sound. Saw that Cheung Wing Hong's face also turned red afterward. Immediately apologized to him after the 'cut'". Kenneth expressed that, if having to film a slapping scene, he would much rather be the one getting slapped...dreads having to strike a female co-star the most. He laughingly said, "I have been slapped by quite a few colleagues in the past, but the most memorable was getting slapped hard by Natalie Tong when filming 'The Invisibles'...it was very painful!"

Asking Kenneth about dropping his wedding ring earlier, which he still has not replaced, "My wife is still picking out a style; she has a few options!" Samantha asked if he would upgrade to a larger diamond. Kenneth: "Luckily, it was the wedding one, not the proposing one. If it had been the proposing one, would really be in trouble!" The wedding one was not that expensive!" He even revealed that his wife was thrilled when she found out that the ring was lost because [she] could pick out a new style.

Tavia Yeung Learns from Gallen Lo, Hopes to Act in a Comedy and Deliver Laughs

CREDIT IF REPOSTED

ontv Clip

The new TVB series "The Ideal Lawyers", executive produced by Chung Shu Kai, wrapped up filming its final major scene in Hong Kong not long ago. That day, the temperature reached 37°C. TV king Gallen Lo joined TV queen Tavia Yeung, Alice Chan, Moon Lau, Kelly Cheung, Joyce Tang, Matthew Ho, et al. outside the High Court in Admiralty. Everyone was in autumn and winter attire under the sweltering heat and the 'Very Hot Weather Warning'; although they were drenched in sweat, it was a joyful atmosphone on set.

Regarding the series' completion, Tavia is happy and unwilling to part with it, particularly struck by the seamless chemistry she shared with Gallen despite collaborating again after many years. She said, "Our chemistry isn't the kind that requires numerous scenes to build up like with other actors. Naturally know what the other is thinking. There is no need to rehearse our performances...could do it in one take". She said that they were serious in the series, but it was full of laughter outside of the series, hoping to collaborate in a comedy next time: "He says that I am good at making gags. Actually, I'm not, but with him leading the way, it's no problem. He's the king of comedy...has a lot of humour. I want to learn how to film comedy from him". Mentioning the days spent filming outdoors in the heat, she admitted that it was grueling but was happy that she and Gallen gave the passersby a surprise in the bustling city: "We weren't even doing ordinary things. Had to film chase sequences and car crash scenes. The passersby were also very happy to see us".

Making the Most of a Trip with Her Children After Wrapping Up Filming

Tavia received a visit on the Shenzhen set from her husband, Him Lau, and their two children earlier. She noted that she happened to have no scheduled filming that day, so she was able to enjoy some family time. She also praised her husband for being a capable partner; apart from bringing the children to visit her on set, also helped them learn to swim and arranged a series of summer activities, which allowed her to film with a peace of mind. After wrapping up the shoot, she will immediately return to her family: "A slight regret is that I won't be able join everyone for the completion dinner after completing the filming of the series. Because the kids are starting school soon, I want to take them on a trip. Plus, my child is entering Primary One...will be busier with homework. Hope to make the most of this summer and have a lot of fun".

Gallen dyed his hair white. He, who has thick hair, expressed when interviewed, "My hair is real! When filming '[The Heir to the Throne]' back then, [Charmaine] Sheh even asked my hairstylist if my hair was real. Of course, it is! I like to try new things. I also really like this new look". He also said that he was very happy to work with the actors in the series, revealing that his character was 'very difficult to play': "Because the relationships are very complex and the force of impact was very strong. Many of the important scenes I filmed with Tavia were also very incredible. Everything about this series was great. The script and actors were also great, such as Alice, Joyce, Kelly, Matthew, and Moon. Everyone worked very hard, so filmed very happily. I feel very fortunate to have encountered such good actors when coming back this time".

As for Alice, she suffered from heatstroke during filming. She expressed with a hoarse voice, "Because it was too hot and too sunny, and the blazer was cinced tightly at the waise. Vision went grey before. Went to lie down for a bit to rest, but voice turned hoarse after the heatstroke". She said that her doctor husband just got off work, so he rushed over to the filming site. Asked if she would visit a clinic or hospital for a check-up, she laughingly said, "Have a doctor beside [me], so there's no need". She also revealed that, after two months of intensive filming, will be heading out for stage performances and recording variety programmes in September: "The earliest [I] can go on trip is the end of September because that is [our] wedding anniversary".

Moon Lau Grasping Every Minute and Everyone Second, Learning Acting from the King and Queen

As a junior, Moon was thrilled to collaborate with Gallen and Tavia for the first time, frankly saying that the collaboration was very enjoyable: "I was constantly asking questions and having fun with them. Cherished every minute and every second as an opportunity to learn from them". She praised Gallen as being very humourous and for being a senior who is hard to come by, while Tavia is extremely straightforward and willing to share: "I always pester her in acting and life. Sometimes when I am also not quite sure after filming a take, she would take the initiative to help me".

As for Joyce, who plays Gallen's wife in the series and has not filmed a drama in a long time, she expressed that she had no trouble adjusting: "Okay. It was quite fun. My character is controversial and unconventional, so it was very challenging".

Kelly Cheung Gets a Scare from Her Loss of Taste

Artiste Kelly spent over a month in Shenzhen filming "Ideal", which was an enjoyable process. Filming took place during the sweltering heat of summer, but she had to wear heavy winter outfits to match the storyline. Fortunately, the entire process was smooth without delays caused by the weather. However, she revealed that she briefly lost her sense of taste, thinking that she had contracted COVID-19. Fortunately, it was just the common cold...already quickly recovered after resting.

Talking about her character in the series, Kelly laughingly said that the lawyer scenes posed no difficulty for her: "Previously filmed 'Legal Mavericks [II]'...also had some courtroom experience". However, the character this time has great depth and even had to go head-to-head with other characters in the series, making it a great challenge and a new experience. She was happy to be able to work with many actors she had not collaborated with before, highly praising Tavia as having a frank and outgoing and approachable personality, knowing how to take care of people, and having a sense of humour. Mentioning Gallen, Kelly was full of gratitude: "He is my mentor...was very considerate. Perhaps knew that us juniors would be nervous. Took the initiative to chat with us on the first day. Toned down his commanding presence to make everyone film comfortably". Mentioning if her temporary stay in Shenzhen for the shoot would affect her taking care of her beloved cat, Kelly expressed that she would occasionally return to Hong Kong for a day or two to handle personal matters. Talking about her new cat, 「冬菇」, she laughingly said, "He is very mischievous. Kittens are always jumping around".

Kenneth Ma Explains the 'Level 10 Beauty Filter' Mystery, Kelly Fu Spent Two Full Days for the Fitting Process

Artistes Kenneth Ma and Kelly Fu attended a promotional event today for the TVB series "Mrs. Revenge". She revealed that this was only her first collaboration with Kenneth. Playing a big celebrity in the series, she had many pretty costumes. She laughingly said that the fitting process also took two full days, making her feel as though she had returned to her former career as a model.

Regarding netizens saying that Kenneth had a 'level 10 beauty filter' in the series, with excessive skin smoothing that looked unnatural, he said, "Because the series resembles a fairytale, and my character setup is also fairytale-like. Perhaps viewers are not used to it. I was not used to it at first either. Later thought that it was nothing special. Don't think that I became more handsome; for guys, there isn't much of a difference. (What was your wife Roxanne Tong's reaction?) She did not have much of a reaction. Perhaps she watches a lot of Korean and Mainland dramas. Mainland and Korean dramas are often very dreamy and would have filters". He emphasized that he did not request to add the filter: "I have no control over whether they are added or not. I could speak up but would not. I only found out after it got released; these are also decisions made by the producer". Apart from the filters, sharp-eyed netizens also discovered that Kenneth's appearance changed at times, leading to speculation about whether AI technology was used to touch up the scene or reshoots took place during post-production. Regarding this, Kenneth expressed that he was unaware of this...have to ask the producer about this. Kelly praised Kenneth's good condition after getting married. Kenneth jokingly attributed it having nourishing soups made by his wife. Netizens also noticed that, in the same scene, the Hong Kong and Mainland versions featured two different brands of chocolate. Kenneth explained, "It might be because they secured sponsorships in Hong Kong...also have to ask the producer about this. I know that they did some reshoots in post-production, but I didn't notice which parts were AI". In addition, talking about female lead Samantha Ko's absence from the promotion due to filming a Mainland drama, Kenneth admitted that he does not know when she would be returning to promotions: "I don't want to stop her from earning money in Mainland, but also want her to rejoin the team soon. Because this is a female-led series, it is a bit awkward with her not being here".

Talking About TVB's Use of AI Technology: The Most Important Thing Is Making Good Use of It

Talking about the recent buzz surrounding the use of AI-generated backgrounds in the sitcom "Like Mother, Like Daughter" earlier, Kenneth expressed an open-minded view: "I think that, moving forward, AI technology will be used. It's not just Hong Kong; productions all over the world will also be using it. Of course, have to see how to make good use of it. When any technology is initially used, some people might not be used to it or be proficient yet, but would get accustomed to it over time. It's like when there were no smartphones; suddenly had some afterward, and you had to figure them out for a while before becoming familiar with them. Every technology requires a period of exploration in order to use it more effectively".

Frankly Prefers Real Locations

Asked whether he would worry that AI might gradually replace human actors, reducing performance opportunities and threatening the livelihoods of behind-the-scenes crew members, Kenneth admitted, "As an actor, I certainly hope that there isn't too much (AI), so more people have work! However, I also don't know what percentage of AI is being used, as I have not sat down to watch every single episode, but this is the general trend, especially since some locations are very hard to rent in Hong Kong, such as hospitals and police stations, which definitely cannot be rented. However, when we shoot in Mainland, really can rent actual hospitals. Might have to use the assistance of AI in the future".

Regarding the comparisons made by netizens to the ViuTV series "Under the Rainbow" (which has Natalie Tong taking part), which was praised for using real locations to capture the spirit of Hong Kong, bemoaning that this was originally TVB's strength, Kenneth believes that it is dependent on the genre: "If the series is about space, then certainly need AI to do it; however, if the series takes place in a housing estate, really can go and film it in real life. I think that they are two different things. Real locations are definitely the prettiest; however, the future integration of AI is inevitable, especially locations that cannot be filmed in real life...definitely need AI to film it".

Hosting the Miss Hong Kong Final for the First Time? Kenneth Ma Responds: Waiting for the Company's Announcement

In addition, talking about a report that Kenneth will be hosting this year's Miss Hong Kong final for the first time, alongside Edwin Siu and Raymond Cho, Kenneth frankly said that he does not know yet: "It has been rumoured, but I also actually don't know yet myself. (Do you want to give it a try?) I'm not particularly keen because I don't know how to be a host. Let's wait for the company to announce it first. I have also only heard about it! (If doing it, do you need your wife's approval?) No need; it's just work. Waiting for the company to announce everything!"

Responds to Wife Appearing Pregnant

As for his wife, Roxanne, being rumoured to be pregnant for the umpteenth time due to her figure and appearance while attending the wedding of Mat Yeung and Lisa Ch'ng earlier, Kenneth casually laughed it off: "Actually, there are always rumours that she's expecting, so this isn't really news. (Because some netizens discovered that, apart from her stomach, your wife's hair also has not been dyed, so they are guessing that she is pregnant.) She just hasn't had the time to dye it lately, and also does not have to work very often recently, so has not bothered with it. (Not in a rush to have a baby?) Leaving it to fate. I have always left it to fate".

- This fantasy series uses exorcism as its theme, and is a story on growth that has romance and friendship.
- The exorcism team operates under the cover of a courier company, and the exorcism cases are based on the people and events relevant to Hong Kong society.
- The characters in the series become bewitched because they encountered unfair matters, which causes resentment, greed, and feelings of inferiority. Although the series features ghosts and spirits, the cases will not be too supernatural; the demons are one's inner demons. While there are visualized demons, the demon is about a person's choice to do bad things or not; thus, everyone will have moments where he or she decides whether to do good or bad. There is a story behind every case, mingling with human emotions.
- The exorcism team uses modern weaponry, such as flash grenades, and there is also a lot of hand-to-hand combat scenes, so there is a lot of action.
- Hera Chan will play Fok Bing Bing (霍冰冰), an overbearing exorcism courier with a cool appearance. Due to her supernatural abilities, she becomes the leader of the exorcism team. She has the most fight scenes.
- Chow Ka Lok will play Cheung Chit (張喆), a down-on-his-luck IT specialist who later develops the ability to see ghosts and stumbles into the world of exorcism by chance. He assists Hera in her exorcism duties; he originally works for her for money, but they later develop an emotional relationship. He has some fight scenes, though far fewer than Hera does. He and Ricco Ng will take off their shirts an average of once per episode, showing off their muscles.
- Joey Thye will play Wu Siu Mei (胡小美).
- Ricco will play Chan Sei Hoi (陳四海), who appears to be the boss of a courier company, but exorcism is his true vocation. He, Hera, and Joey Thye originally perform exorcisms together; Ka Lok later joins the team by chance. He and Joey Thye are a couple; they have many fight scenes.
- Karl Ting will play a tragic doctor. He has a rather cyncial personality, and he may not necessarily spend much time in the hospital, so he does not have to memorize a lot of complex medical jargon. Many people around him die. He seeks the truth behind his bewitched girlfriend, Carmen Ngai. He and Carmen are originally a sweet couple, but it takes a tragic turn that involves a separation caused by death. He spends ten entire episodes crying over her. He is a major antagonist who challenges the nature of humanity, primarily using words to PUA and manipulate people. Most of the time, it is about people's inner demons and how to PUA, using specific rhetoric to sway someone into making the wrong decisions. In every moment, he is grappling with the choice of whether to be a bad person or a good one.
- Carmen will play a coma patient who remains in a coma for the first few epiodes in which she appears; thus, she does not need to perform action scenes. She is a pitiful victim, and despite her tragic experiences, she is fortunate to be loved and cared for by her good boyfriend, Karl, and her good elder brother, Ricco. She and Karl only have hand-holding scenes.
- Li Hoi Tung will play Ka Lok's fiancée; they have a kiss scene.
- Amy Fan will play a down-to-earth and gentle housewife. She is a rather weak woman. Her character appears throughout the entire series.
- Jazz Lam will play an employee at the courier company.

Personal Note: I guess Rosita Kwok has been replaced by Li Hoi Tung....

Kenneth Ma Very Afraid of Being Asked by Fans to Hold Their Babies, Clarifies Again That His Wife Loves Loose-Fitting Clothing

Kenneth Ma attended a promotional event in Tsuen Wan today for the series "Mrs. Revenge", joined by fellow cast members Rosita Kwok, Hera Chan, Kayan Yau, Yumi Chung, et al. Everyone imitated Rosita's coquettist mannerisms in the series on stage; the scene was amusing.

Talking about whether he welcomed females acting coy, Kenneth laughingly said, "If my future daughter is like that, should be quite adorable. My wife, Roxanne Tong, rarely acts like that; if she does, it should also be extremely cute".

Mentioning the excessive use of filters on his character, which made his skin smooth and poreless, he admitted that he knew that this issue was mentioned, but he feels that the character's setup is very dreamy, which felt like shooting an idol drama; thus, the filter effect was acceptable. He said, "A rich second generation who is also ambitious, does not smoke, drink, or womanize, and is also a good person. When I read the script, I felt that a character like this does not exist in reality! Only mangas and those Snow White plotlines would have this kind of person...too perfect!"

Recently travelling to Malaysia with his wife, Roxanne, to attend the wedding of Mat Yeung and Lisa Ch'ng, he expressed that his wife is acquainted with Lisa, and he has worked with Mat several times, so they made the special trip to celebrate their big day. Talking about the pictures leaked by guests that again sparked rumours of Roxanne being pregnant, Kenneth reiterated that, [if] there were good news, woueld announce it to everyone. However, his wife really just loves loose-fitting clothing; the clothes that she buys are so large that even he could fit into them.

Mentioning the finalized plans for his [fan] meeting in Sichuan, Kenneth expressed that he is very happy because it was previously postponed due to a flooding issue, so he is greatly looking forward to meeting his fans. He expressed that a concert and a [fan] meeting feel very different. [Fan] meetings involve a smaller number of people, but able to have even more time to interact with fans. Asked whether he had ever encountered any bizarre requests, Kenneth said no, though he had experienced some amusing situations, such as fans asking him to hold their babies, which made him extremely nervous because he has never been a father before and has no experience holding babies. Very worried about injuring them, so he would be extremely careful.

TVB's long-running sitcom, "Lo and Behold", which has aired for nearly a decade, has reached its final chapter. The 2868th and final episode aired [tonight]. Over 70 cast members, including Lau Dan, Law Lok Lam, Chow Ka Lok, Joyce Tang, Koni Lui, Stanley Cheung, Mandy Lam, Andrew Yuen, Kelly Gu, Pal Sinn, newlyweds Mat Yeung and Lisa Ch'ng, et al., appeared at a shopping mall in Sha Tin. Even Andrew Chan (who was recently hospitalized due to a skin allergy), Jack Hui (who was using crutches due to a leg injury), and "Stars Academy"'s Chantel Yiu (who previous guest-starred) appeared to show their support, watching the finale with nearly 3000 viewers.

TVB treated the event as a major occasion, specially arranging a live broadcast from the venue on Jade immediately preceding the finale. In a rare occurrence, there were no commercial breaks upon the conclusion of the series; instead, the broadcast cut directly to the live event. After the finale aired, the entire cast said in unison, "The full run of 'Lo and Behold' has concluded. Thank you for watching!"

Yeah

S.H.E.R.O.

We don't need a hero, no, we need a heroine
When she turn into a shero, then you got a hero win
We don't need no saving, won't wear a disguise, we won't hide
I was born with super powers, watch me change my life

Who's a SHE R.O
S.H.E.R.O. Oh
I'm a SHE R.O
S.H.E.R.O. Oh

I got that super super
Shero Shero glow
I am ready for the world
S.H.E.R.O.

Diamonds on my neck cold like my exes
Frostbite stilettos step, then they shatter next
If they beg me to come back? I blow them a kiss
Leave them frozen, let it go, 'cause I never reminisce

Hot red lips and the fire in my gaze
Burn them when they get caught staring
I don't cook, I rule the flame
Eye of the storm? Nah, I am the storm
Bow down boys, this gale's got form
Flashing lights when I change the game
Rain drops? Ha! I drip champagne!

Thunder roars - hit the stage
Onna headlines - On front page
Spark by spark - light the dark
Crown stay locked up in our hearts

Ice cold to the ones who divide
Warm hands when my sisters cry
Strong alone? We tougher together
Real sheros are forever

Hero ain't a name, lava in my veins
I light the torch but we all hold the flame
Burning all doubts, only lift girls higher
Queen alone? Nah, we build empires

Freeze out the liars
And we shine through fools
Love my sisters
Golden rule

Kenneth Ma and Roxanne Tong Leaving Having a Baby to Fate After Three Years of Marriage

Kenneth Ma and Roxanne Tong got married in 2023; the two frequently display their affection on social media, being deeply in love before and after marriage. Kenneth frankly said that he is fortunate to have met his wife: "Actually very happy. Every time [I] go home, there is someone to share everything with; whether it is happy or not, it is a happy thing to have someone to share it with. I am also very fortunate; my wife is a rather cheerful person who likes to smile. A lot of the times, going home after a grueling day at work, she also gives me a lot of positive energy. For instance, [I] recently lost [my] wedding ring when I went to do a stage performance in the US. Was also initially worried about how to break the news to her, but after I told her, she immediately said, 'Good. I can buy a new pair'. That is simply her nature. Not the type who would blame or ask why [I] lost it. She is not that type of person. I really like having someone who gives me positive energy by my side. Actually, I tend to be quite pessimistic and would often prepare for the worst-case scenario. Think that [you] have to be prepared because you don't know what would happen. Always consider the worst-case scenario...at least being mentally prepared. However, my wife would often give me positive energy, making it seem as though you are relaxed. Things that [you] initially thought were major issue actually aren't such a big deal after all. I feel very fortunate to have found this wife".

Having been married for nearly three years, the two have faced intense public interest regarding their progress on having a baby. Despite frequent rumours of pregnancy since getting married, nothing has materialized thus far. He said, "I also don't find it annoying, as we are also letting nature take its course; however, it simply has not happened yet. If it has, I would definitely announce it; there is no need to hide it. Actually, I am really in no rush. My wife and I are leaving it to fate; even if there are none, it is fine with us. If the heavens were to bless us with one, we would also not oppose to it and would accept it with joy. The most important thing is for the family to be happy and healthy".

Samantha Ko Has High Standards for Choosing a Partner, Kenneth Ma Praises Cheung Wing Hong as Being the Best Choice to Be a Scumbag

TV king Kenneth Ma, Samantha Ko, Hera Chan, Rosita Kwok, Roxanne Ho, Cathy Wong, Ben Wong, et al. attended a promotion today for the new series "Mrs. Revenge", drawing a large crowd of supportive fans.

Talking about the series' early release in Mainland, sparking a lot of discussion, Samantha thanked the viewers' support, pointing out that many netizens were very immersed when watching and were indignant on behalf of what her character went through. Mentioning the unfortunate encounter with scumbag Cheung Wing Hong, Samantha laughingly said that the shoot this time made her learn how to identify and avoid scumbags: "Scumbags treat every girl very well and are eternal 'mama's boys'. Respecting [your] mom is good, but it isn't good to bully [your] girlfriend or rely on [your] girlfriend for everything". Kenneth highly praised Cheung Wing Hong as being the best choice to play this character: "Ah Hong went all out while being funny; only he could carry the character. He also really wants to come promote, but it clashed with [his] work. It wouldn't be surprising to see him at future promotions".

Samantha laughingly said that filming the series allowed her to experience different lives. Although she is not married yet, she is confident that she would make a great girlfriend and a good wife, and also pointed out that she has asked Kenneth to introduce a good guy. Kenneth highly praised Samantha as being a good girl. Although the male friends around him are already married, will continue to keep an eye out for her: "Also wouldn't dare to introduce [if] the qualifications are not good. Samantha doesn't need an incredibly wealthy or handsome guy. Given her quality, cannot make a haphazard introduction. She shouldn't have to settle. At the very least, [needs to have] a good character and a kind heart. (Like you?) I also may not necessarily be worthy. I feel that the heavens are very fair. There is definitely another half. Don't know where...is actually waiting for you. This is something that I have experienced firsthand". Samantha also admitted that she has high standards for choosing a partner: "Because [the person] has to be with me for a lifetime. The most important thing is having to encounter [him]". She frankly said that she is busy with work now...having to maintain a relationship is also not easy. All in all, don't want to fail at both. [If I] meet [someone], would also want to be like Nancy Wu and get married quickly. However, work opportunities are also very difficult to encounter, so need to greatly cherish them now. Since the heavens have given me work opportunities, putting romance on the back burner for the time being. (Like Nancy, only consider it after winning an award?) Well, there's also no conflict there...could happen at the same time. Ha Ha!"

Talking about the news of the passing of TVB's former golden producer, Leung Choi Yuen, circulating the other day, Kenneth expressed that he had worked with him and highly praised him for greatly adoring [his] actors: "He would never scold actors. Was a senior who was really worthy of respect. [If] there were no seniors, how could there be us? This year, many respected seniors passed away...it's a great pity".
