Hubert Wu and Erica Chan Leading TVB's New Short Series

TVB is pushing for another short-episode series, "Falling in Love with My Bad Luck", which will be helmed by Fong Chun Chiu, the producer of "The Exorcist's Meter". This series is a fantasy story. Hubert Wu and Erica Chan are people from two different worlds; Erica even brings bad luck to him every day.

After Hubert finishes filming "Return of the Cuckoo", he will start filming "Falling" at the end of April. He expressed in an interview with on.cc, "My character in the series is very miserable...would be unhappy all the time! (Getting promoted by the company as you are being the male lead again!) Have the opportunity to do it, so I will put my heart into it. The character is also very challenging. I have to dig deep into the unhappy matters in my heart, but the happiness has to be acted out with layers; this is where the difficulty lies!" Speaking of having to lead newcomer Erica to act, he humbly said, "How can I do it? I am also a newcomer. I am old now! The youth are formidable. The producer has found her, so it must be because she has potential".

Producer Fong Chun Chiu highly praised Erica as having potential: "There are ten episodes this time. Want to find some newcomers and new elements to go with Hubert. Erica is a girl with an aura. This time, the character in the series has to be fresh and pure and like a well-behaved girl. She also slightly looks like a Japanese girl. Plus, it is also not her first time filming a series. Artiste Joe Ma will start filming Producer Lam Chi Wah's new series in April, and is even officially partnering Alice Chan for the first time. The two have a lot of partnering scenes. This series is an urban fantasy series. Joe is even challenging playing two roles. In an interview with on.cc, he said, "It is quite strenuous having to play two roles. Have to do two sets of homework, and there are a lot of switching parts in the plot of the series. I have also been exercising more recently to prepare. 'Half Familiar' with Partner Shaun Tam, Katy Kung Rest Assured When Filming Intimate Scenes

Artistes Shaun Tam and Katy Kung were in Tseung Kwan O TVB City for the blessing ceremony of TVB's new series, "Brutally Young 2.0". Shaun revealed that he and Katy have an ambiguous relationship in the series, and there are a lot of intimate scenes. The two praised each other for being experienced. Katy laughingly said that Shaun has intimate scenes with his female partners in every series. Shaun thought about it for a while and then laughingly said, "Thinking about it, 'Justice Bao: The First Year' also had it, but Katy is even more incredible. Previously kissed fresh meat...now, have to try tough cured meat like me".

Katy said that she and Shaun acted in "Justice" together, but this time is their first real collaboration, expressing that this kind of relationship between familiarity and unfamiliarity is the best for filming intimate scenes: "Shaun has a lot of experience. Chow Ka Lok Replacing Wong Cho Lam in TVB's New Ancient Comedy?

TVB's Chief Creative Officer Wong Cho Lam is officially performing his duties today, assisting Deputy General Manager Eric Tsang in handling the affairs of the variety department. In order to concentrate on his duties, Cho Lam officially pulled out of TVB's ancient comedy earlier. It is known that this series' roles have been reshuffled. Cho Lam's role is being taken over by 'Kam Sing On' Chow Ka Lok, who is being promoted by TVB. As for it originally having 'TV Queen' Sisley Choi and Owen Cheung, they will also not be filming this series. New additions include JW and Brian Chu. Jeannie Chan will continue to stay on.

'Kam Sing On' will also temporarily depart from "Lo and Behold" at the end of April, and will be meeting everyone again as 'On Jai' in July at the earliest. As for what plot will be used to explain his departure, the series crew has not officially finalized it yet. The series' producer Lam Kin Cheung expressed in an interview with hk01, "The company hasn't announced it yet. Chow Ka Lok has also kept on filming".

Regarding the matter of being the male lead, Chow Ka Lok expressed that he has not received a definite notice for the time being, but when asked whether he would hate to part with "Lo" if he had to temporarily depart from it, he said, "I am following my heart and leaving it to fate. Following the company's instructons for everything".

"Forensic Heroes V" Confirmed to Film with Pakho Chau as One of the Male Leads

"Forensic Heroes V" is confirmed to film! What is known for the time being is that, because Mui Siu Ching, the producer of the first four installments, has retired, the producer position will be taken on by Fong Chun Wah, who produced the previous installment. The copy editor position will be taken on by Hong Kong Film Awards' 'Best Screenplay' awardee and the copy editor of the "Line Walker" series Yip Tin Shing. It is known that Pakho Chau will be one of the male leads.

Earlier, it was circulated online that TVB would film a series called "The Triads" with the lead being Pakho, and the copy editor was also Yip Tin Shing; however, Yip Tin Shing expressed in an interview with hk01 that he does not exist in this series. He is preparing for "Forensic V". He said, "We considered a lot of subject matter. Yip Tin Shing also explained about the clown setup, expressing that the new installent will continue to have this role. He said, "This clown setup has been in the first to the fourth installment, and it is also a setup of [Mui] Siu Ching's that makes you chase after it and is suspenseful. We will definitely keep it because Fong Chun Wah did at least three installments with [Mui] Siu Ching. He did ask about it; I said that it will definitely have it, and I also greatly respect [Mui] Siu Ching. However, a slightly more special clown may appear. For example, it may be a clown from a Western movie? We are still thinking about it because our script is still being written. Certainly hope that there are new elements for the viewers to see".

Wong Cho Lam Pulls Out of New Ancient Series, Focusing on Dealing with Variety Shows!

TVB's Chief Creative Officer Wong Cho Lam was originally returning to TVB to film an ancient comedy in April, but it is known that, because he has to assist Deputy General Manager Eric Tsang in completing the reform of variety programmes, he has too many things to attend to simultaneously for the time being, so he has already officially pulled out. In an interview with on.cc, he said, "Rather busy with the variety show side for the time being. Want to concentrate on assisting [Eric] to deal with the variety show work first. (Have you come up with programme ideas yet?) [Eric] and I are doing our jobs. Keeping everyone guessing first".

- Karl will play Chai Hing Chau (齊輕舟), who is not particularly handsome and is even slightly ugly. He grew up in a housing estate. He dreams of becoming a celebrity, dragging his good friend, Dickson, along to apply for an artiste training class together. After getting into the artiste training class, their roads become vastly different: he sees Dickson become better and better, while his luck gets worse and worse. Luckily, he has a friend in Joey Thye, later having some development. He and Joey are a couple; there is a series of passionate scenes.
- Tiffany will play Peggie Keung Chi Ngan (姜之雁). Due to her elder sister's influence, she decides to join the entertainment industry. She is a rather pure character with a Miss Hong Kong Pageant background (i.e., winning first runner-up) who becomes popular in the industry. She returned to Hong Kong from England. She is a rollerskating expert. She and Dickson will go from being a bickering pair to a couple. Her character has references to Maggie Cheung Man Yuk's life experiences.
- Joey will play Wan Chor Yu (溫楚瑜), a second-generation celebrity who comes from a performing arts family. She is not pretty. She is a 'silly big sister' who works toward her dream, but a lot of incidents and passion happen in the middle.
- Kelly will play Keung Chi Yin (姜之妍), Tiffany's elder sister who is already a big celebrity, as she is a currently popular fa dan. She is silly but kind. She is always immersed in her characters, so she cannot get herself back into reality. She returned from a foreign country. There is a triangular relationship among her, Dickson, and Tiffany.
- Niklas Lam will play Benz Hui Si Ban (許士賓), the leads' close friend. He makes slightly condescending remarks, is rather arrogant, and gets carried away. The background of his character is based on Richard Ng Man Tat and Benz Hui.
- Kayan Yau will play Chan Ka Man (陳嘉雯), the leads' artiste training classmate. She is a tough girl who takes the upper hand in love. She is a mature yet cute character. She and Niklas are a pair.

Filming of "Falling in Love with You When You Are a Kid" Postponed

The TVB series "Falling in Love with You When You Are a Kid", starring Samantha Ko and Owen Cheung, held a press conference last month; however, it has been rumoured that the script reading of "Falling" was suddenly suspended last week, and the time of filming has also been postponed to June. It has been rumoured that, after the script of "Falling" was reviewed by the upper management of TVB, they asked for major revisions, so it is impossible to start shooting this month as originally planned. In an interview with hk01, the series' producer, Liu Chun Sek, admitted that the filming of "Falling" has been postponed, and said, "Actually, there are many reasons. Firstly, the script could indeed be better. Secondly, due to the pandemic, cannot film at many outdoor locations. Some of the venues require the cancellation of gathering restrictions before they can be rented out".

Producer Liu Chun Sek revealed that, although the script has been changed, Samantha's character setup will also not be affected: "The IQ of an eight-year-old is very difficult to play, so we had to have everyone do a script reading first. Pakho Chau Leading "Forensic Heroes V" with Charmaine Sheh and Linda Chung Courted to Return?

Reportedly, [Pakho Chau] will star in two series, one of which is the new series "Forensic Heroes V", which will start filming in September and is a collaboration between TVB and Youku, one of the three major video platforms in Mainland. It is rumoured that 'TV Queen' Charmaine Sheh and Linda Chung, who previously took part in the "Forensic" franchise, have also been invited to return and take part.

Asked Voice Entertainment to Adjust Work Schedule

TVB Deputy Manager Felix To, who is in charge of drama production and programme development, responded to this newspaper [today], admitting to the matter of Pakho filming series. He said, "I'm very happy that [we] will be seeing Pakho take part in series filming". As for Ho Lai Chuen, who is in charge of Voice Entertainment, he also admitted, "Pakho's management company has asked Voice Entertainment to adjust his schedule to film series". As for Pakho, he responded with a text message [today]: "After receiving the company's notice, have been sorting out the schedule and making the preparations for filming; however, it is more suitable for TVB announce the details of the shoot. Thanks for your concern".

Mui Siu Ching, the producer of the "Forensic" franchise, accepted a phone interview with Sky Post. She expressed, "'Forensic V' is being filmed, and it will be helmed by Fong Chun Wah, who was previously on my team. I am still enjoying my current life...will not be taking part. (Assured to hand it over to him?) Extremely assured. 'Deep in the Realm of Conscience' and 'Forensic' were also produced by him; I was the executive producer. Really believe in his ability. The 'Forensic' franchise will definitely continue on well".

Tony Hung has been delegated to partner the group Fama, Kelly Fu, et al. in the new suspense and thriller series "Haunted House Cleaner". Playing an exorcist, he expects to film at mourning halls, etc. Asking how he will be interpreting the role, he laughingly said, "I go to church, but really don't know about other things. May have to learn some moves (exorcism) from others".

Did Rituals to 'Seal the Eyes'

He revealed that he had the ability to see ghosts when he was young, and he often came into close contact with the spiritual world: "Always saw white lights and black shadows, so I told my mom.
