- The series has suspense, contradictions, and many secrets.
- Through Mandy Wong's character, the series is bringing out the theme that the direction of life is not determined by memories but the choices that are made now. How the future will be also depends on the choices that are made now. With the development of the plot, when the lead discovers the truth of the past, will she choose to say in the bad memories of the past, look forward to the future, or start anew? Not only Mandy, but the other three leads will also face this kind of life choice.
- Joe Ma will play the boss of a production company. He was previously a reporter and was Mandy's mentor. He has already let go of Mandy and is dating Kelly Cheung. He gets caught between two women: one is them is his wife and his son's mother, who has been missing for a long time and has reappeared, while the other is his current girlfriend. - Kelly will play a career-oriented woman who has a great reputation in the public relations industry. She is Joe's girlfriend. In public and in private, she is tactful, gracious, and proper; however, she is cunning and calculative toward Joe, fighting for her boyfriend and her son. She is a kind stepmother, as she is full of love for her son, Lau San Hei. She has a lot of emotional ups and downs, having to cry often. She is an antagonist.
- Joey will play Kam Cheung Sing (金長勝), an unrefined rogue solicitor who specializes in helping disadvantaged groups and clients in the neighbourhood. He meets Mandy by chance. Seeing that Mandy has a pitiful life, he helps her return to Hong Kong to find her memories. Soon after, he meets Mandy's husband, Joe; at that time, he has already developed feelings for Mandy, so he is an eyesore to Joe. He and Maverick Mak call each other brothers; they help one another.
- Fred Cheng will play Alex Ling Chan Sing (凌振聲), a rich second generation. He is carefree and always gets into trouble. He is a sweet talker, so a lot of females appear in his life. He is KK Cheung's son.
- Maverick will play Chan Chun Kau (陳晉久), a gangster. His relationship with Joey goes beyond that of a general brotherhood. He is also called 「天狗」.
- To Yin Gor will play Kelly's father.
- Lau San Hei will play Yeung Chi Hin (楊志鶱).
