Artistes Louis Koo, Louis Cheung, Jessica Hsuan, Annie Liu, Fiona Sit, Andy On, et al. appeared at Fo Tan to attend the blessing ceremony of Director Fung Chih Chiang's new film, "A Witness Out of the Blue".

In the movie, Louis [Koo] and Jessica play a pair that is neither friendly nor aloof. Jessica is challenging her acting again, playing a visually impaired person. She laughingly said that she was startled by the script: "It talks about him being violent toward me before we are together. Hope that, after ten-plus years, Louis [Koo] knows how to hold back his strength. (You were previously injured by him?) No. It's just that we were both very immersed. Did not know how to hold back. I used real strength...just afraid of injuring my partner. (Have intimate scenes in the movie?) Leaving these for filming a sequel".

Louis [Koo], who plays a criminal in the movie, uses a machine gun to rob a jewellery story. He expressed, "Sealed the street downtown to film. We want to film a solid police movie. (No prop money involved during filming?) Did not explain it because it starts off with me having already killed the cop".

Parodying "Detective Investigation Files"! Michael Tao Becomes 'Cheung Siu Yung' Playing with 'Car Keys'

CREDIT IF REPOSTED

ontv Clip

The "Detective Investigation Files" series, starring Michael Tao, Joey Leung, and Kenix Kwok, has been re-airing late at night after 23 years but is still highly popular, attracting many viewers. The brotherhood between Michael's 'Tai Yung' and Joey's 'Yi Jai' has gained the affection of advertisers; the two received a six-figure fee to shoot an online advertisement, recreating the classic.

The other day, the two came together again to film an advertisement clip for a health food that integrated the characters and plot of "Detective". In it, Michael's 'Cheung Siu Yung' was investigating a case, even personally performing the most discussed English name pronunciation 'che si' (car keys). He called 'Jessica', the female character in the advertisement, 'Che-si-ca' and showed off his iconic, signature 'face-covering' action again. Even Michael could not help but laughingly say, "So I actually have a few funny classics, such as 'car keys' and the face-covering action. I did this action in 'Love Bond'. Was simply a design...did not expect it to become my icon and also be so heavily discussed. Also told me to do this action again in the advertisement. Since it is like this, I also want to use such a personal icon to entertain the public!"

Joey has not acted in many years. Coming back out this time was entirely related to his old friend, Michael. Joey revealed that he already has a semi-retired attitude, as he hopes to, apart from doing behind-the-scenes work, which he likes, travel to different places, using the most down-to-earth way to enjoy life; thus, he does not have much interest in performing in front of the camera or doing interviews. However, in this advertisement clip, he is appearing as 'Yi Jai' again. Although he coughed a little bit after a few street runs, he was back to being lively when facing his longtime old friend, laughing non-stop. Joey said, "I couldn't go to the 'Detective' dinner but will make an appointment to reunite with them again!"

"Succession War" Sub Song (Full Version)

"Remorse" - Ruco Chan

Repeat (*)

是我今天後悔不止 親手捨割你離別
如沒有你 我又為何在爭奪
即使可得到大勢遮天 對我亦是不需要
下世若重遇你 再說仍是 太遲

下世若重遇你 若是真可 下次

The "Detective Investigation Files" series has been re-airing late at night but is still being highly praised after 23 years. Producer Poon Ka Tak held a dinner gathering of the cast and crew. Many series actors, including Michael Tao, Kenix Kwok, Amy Kwok, Margaret Chung, Charmaine Sheh, Catherine Chau, Joe Ma, Derek Kwok, Gabriel Harrison, Maggie Chan, et al. were in attendance. [Michael and Kenix] frankly said that they have not seen each other in a long time, although they have previously encountered each other while doing stage performances in Mainland. Kenix frankly said that it was hard to come by; unknowingly, the series was already filmed 23 years ago.

Michael also provided a humourous explanation for 'che si' (car keys); he said, "Everyone also questioned me calling 'Jessie' by the wrong pronunciation. Said 'car keys' because she did not answer to 'Jessie'. Only answered to 'car keys'. Previously, [my] friends also followed along and called her that". Kenix said that it was all because of these 'car keys' that everyone had so many memories. Michael also said that this series finished airing its rerun on July 1st...also reluctant to let it go. He said, "Back then, the viewers really liked guessing whom the killer was, and there was also a hotline in which you could play a guess-the-killer game". When Kenix was asked whether she let her child watch this series, she said, "Would also. Would also let her watch it after studying!"

- The series will mostly be shot with an ARRI camera. Apart from going to Melbourne, Australia to film, filming in Hong Kong will basically be entirely on location.
- Vincent Wong will play 'K', a solutionist who specializes in helping gangsters solve unsolvable problems. He is a rather cruel and merciless person. He used to be a gangster assassin. He is a good fighter who is skilled in close quarters combat. He is originally a gangster solutionist in Australia; however, at the start of the series, he has already begun his 'second life' as 'O', changing his career path and becoming a gym teacher who helps students solve their problems. He originally wanted to break away from the gang to pursue a simple and happy lifestyle, but he helplessly get caught up in another gang. He later becomes a security guard. In his 'first life', he had a girlfriend (played by Kelly Cheung) who died because of some matter, and her death also involved some complicated problems. When he was a solutionist in Australia, he was framed for killing a gang leader. To save him, his master cleverly used a gun with fake ammunition to shoot Vincent, making everyone believe that he had died; thus, his 'first life' already ended in Australia. The 'second life' he begins in Hong Kong does not happen after memory loss; rather, he really wanted to start a new life. In the first episode, his relationship with Kelly already deals with separation in life and death. Natalie Tong is like a guardian who slowly takes him away from this painful state.
- Natalie will play Jovy Chan, a music teacher who is also the daughter of a gangster. She plays the flute. Because she is dissatisfied with being from a gangster family, she decides to leave Hong Kong to study in Australia, during which she encounters a lot of trouble. Vincent overcomes all difficulties for her and saves her. She is very cold toward Vincent, but they like each other; there are no kiss scenes.
- Sharon Chan will play Hong Chung Yu (項頌如), a managing director. She is resolute and upright in character and is independent. She is attentive when handling matters, and she loves her family. She is a career woman. She is Law Lok Lam's adopted daughter; he does many bad deeds, but she helps him become a good person. She and Michael Tong are lawyers, with her being a CEO for the gang; their romantic storyline appears in the latter part of series, and they will have a happy ending.
- Michael will play Cheung Tin Yan (張天仁).
- Cheung Wing Hong 'Man Sir', a cop in the Organized Crime and Triad Bureau (OCTB). He goes from being the most loyal to the most evil person. He has a romantic storyline with Crystal Fung; the two will have an internal struggle between sense and sensibility.
- Crystal will play a cop in the OCTB who is a judo expert. She is in Pinky Cheung's team. She is the best fighter in the series. She has a one-sided love for her partner, Cheung Wing Hong.
- Kelly will play Chloe, a student. She is Vincent's girlfriend in Australia. She has a passionate romance with Vincent, but her death is etched in his memory. She has already died in the first episode, but she is always in Vincent's heart; thus, when Vincent and Natalie later develop their relationship, it seems as though there is always a nonexistent third party, becoming a delicate 'triangular relationship'. Her scenes will be filmed in Australia.
- Eric Li will play a gangster. He is the son of Law Lok Lam and Nora Miao.
- Pinky will play 'Madam Ma', a Senior Superintendent in the OCTB. Because of her struggle against subordinate Cheung Wing Hong, many things occur, and she dies in he end.
- Lee Kwok Lun will play a cop in the OCTB. He is Karl Ting's father.
- Nora will play a gangster.
- Law Lok Lam will play a gang leader.
- Bianca Wu will play Linda Kwan Chi Lam (關芷林), a specialist in neurosurgery.
- Wiyona Yeung will play Tracy, a gangster. She is gentle. She is Sharon's good friend and secretary, but she later betrays Sharon. She has a romantic storyline with Eric.
- Stephen Wong will play 「小鳳」, a gangster.
- Peter Pang will play an extremely bad businessman.
- Karl will play Ko Chun (高俊), a member of a high school rugby team.
- Jacquelin Ch'ng will play a vice principal.
- To Yin Gor will play a gang leader.
- William Chu will play a violist in Natalie's classical music group.
- Fred Cheung will play a member of a classical music group.
- Andy Lin will play Kevin, a member of a classical music group.
- Kei Pui will play Pinky's younger sister.
- Man Yeung will play a gangster.
- Sunny Dai will play a gangster.
- Kelvin Lee will play 「蛇仔威」. Bond Chan is his boss.
- Penny Chan will play a gangster.
- Bond will play 「輝少」.
- Lee Yee Man will play Tsang Siu Lai (曾小麗), a cop in the OCTB. She is in Pinky Cheung's team. She and Crystal are good friends; she helps her solve her relationship troubles.
- Jones Lee will play 「傑佬」, a cop in the OCTB.
- Lee Kai Kit will play a cop in the OCTB.
- Calvin Chan will play a cop in the OCTB.
- Eddie Ho will play a cop in the OCTB.
- Kinlas Chan will play a cop in the OCTB.

Nancy Wu Acts as a Guest for Hins Cheung: A Live Stream of "Deep in the Realm of Conscience" as the Crown Princess

CREDIT IF REPOSTED

J2 Clip

Ming Pao Clip

Apple Daily Clip

The second night of Hins Cheung's 'HINSIDEOUT Hins Cheung in Concert' at the Hong Kong Coliseum invited crown princess and TV queen Nancy Wu as a guest. Hins' incarnate, 'Gonlando', grandly introduced her to come out: "That Hins Cheung thinks he is so great...invited a guest (saying Joey Yung)! Since he had a guest, I also have one tonight! However, this guest's background is not to be taken lightly. Everyone does not know that, before I went into the music industry, I was in the television industry! I was just about to shine in the television industry. Originally accepted a good script, but then, two days before filming, found out that my role was stolen from me. In addition, this series is airing right now! I have to put her on a public trial and ask her why she stole my role! Let's welcome out TV queen Nancy Wu!"

Nancy appeared amidst the audience's applause. 'Gonlando' laughingly said, "I think that you are very pretty today! Usually see you wearing a lot of fabric on TV. Why did you wear so little tonight? Seeing you wear [modern] clothing tonight, almost didn't recognize you...uneven eyebrows!" Nancy said, "Stealing your spotlight! I also usually see you wearing suits. Seeing you wear your female clothing back tonight, I also almost...threw up...." This drew laughter from the audience.

'Gonlando' then changed back into Hins' role, telling the audience that he and Nancy have already known each other for ten-plus years. She was the female lead in the MV of his song, 《餘震》, so they are considered longtime friends. Nancy frankly said that, every time Hins has a concert, she would attend, but in her heart, she would think about whether there would be a day in which she would be able to go on stage as a guest...finally let her wait for it.

On stage, Hins played the two's phone conversation when he called Nancy to invite her as a guest. Hins said, "Letting everyone listen to it. Although she is already a TV queen, she is actually still a little girl". On the phone, when Nancy knew that she had been invited to the Hong Kong Coliseum, she was so happy; it was as if she had won a big award, constantly saying, "Aiya.... I am very happy. I am very nervous. I just slept this morning! I really want it to be daylight faster...able to solve it faster. Am I really stupid?" Nancy was actually so happy and nervous that she could not sleep the entire night, waiting until it was daylight and then immediately calling the producer to take a leave to be a guest.

Hins specially had an elevating platform with a four-sided big screen ascend so that the audience could clearly see Nancy. He said, "Tonight is the first live stream of 'Deep in the Realm of Conscience' in history! Ha ha. Just joking. I will go back down and give the stage to the TV queen". However, the elevating platform did not descend yet, so Hins had nowhere to run. Nancy immediately became the crown princess: "Watch your step...younger sister! The path of the deep palace is not as easy to walk as imagined. The most important is being regretless!" Then Nancy the TV series' theme song, 《無悔無愧》, for the audience.

The attendees of the second night included Vivian Chow, Deanie Ip, Michael Lai, Karen Tong, Paisley Hu, Selena Lee, Vincy Chan, Sherman Chung, and Michelle Wai.

Reveals Needing 'Fine-Tuning', Bobby Au Yeung and Esther Kwan Want to Collaborate Again

Ben Wong has become a boss, investing seven figures into opening a beauty centre. Many people in the industry came to congratulate him, including Esther Kwan, Bobby Au Yeung, Flora Chan, Tavia Yeung, Roger Kwok, Adia Chan, Alice Chan, Joyce Tang, Elena Kong, Helen Tam, Raymond Cho, Evergreen Mak, et al., creating the reunion of the classic combinations of "Armed Reaction", "A Kindred Spirit", "Flash Fax", etc.

Old partners Bobby and Esther were humourously teasing each other the entire time. It was just starting, and Bobby first revealed that, when he went to Esther's house for a New Year visit the year before, she welcomed the guests in a trendy night gown, evening calling it 'Dressing Gown 1"! However, Esther immediately denied this.

Continuing the "Armed Reaction" Combination

Regarding whether the "Armed" combination would have another continuation, Bobby frankly said that he has always thought about it, worrying that, if filming does not start soon, the viewers will no longer recognize him. He even highly praised Ben as being ageless, being even younger than his "Kindred" days. After hearing this, Esther also highly praised Bobby for maintaining himself well. Bobby immediately revealed that he has done some 'fine-tuning' and even humourously said, "Fine-tuning is not necessarily becoming thinner. I previously became thinner; friends thought that something was wrong with me, so I got fatter!"

Waiting for a Good Script to Make a Comeback

Esther frankly said that, if she were to encounter a good script, she would definitely make a comeback and film a series again, and she certainly wants to collaborate with Bobby again, and suddenly wants to portray a policewoman with superpowers from outer space, and even laughingly said that she wants more gun shooting and action scenes.

Fought Over a Children's Programme with Stephen Chow Back Then

Regarding Bobby wanting to join in upon seeing the group of former children's programme hosts taking a picture on the stage, he frankly said that, back then, he also interviewed for a children's programme along with Stephen Chow but did not make it in the end. Afterward, Bobby revealed that, when he was working with Chow Yun Fat and Tony Leung in the TVB series "Angels and Devils", he and Stephen were playing rebellious youths, and even interviewed for a children's programme together. He said, "I wanted to join! Stephen didn't want to join, but he was chosen. (Why did you want to join so badly?) Because [you] would get popular after joining the children's programme for a half year!" Esther immediately teased him, saying that he has already been popular for decades. Back then, Bobby did not make it because he did not wake up in time for the daytime recording. The two also laughed at each other's looks as being a white girl and a black person.

Roger Kwok Would Rather Starve to Death Than Eat Tavia Yeung's Cooking

Tavia struck first, taking the initiative of asking Ben to sponsor treatments. Afterward, she said that she has already built good relations with the centre's doctors and therapists, and will later be going to accept treatments without paying.

Roger expressed that he intends to collaborate with Tavia on a cart noodles business, but Tavia is worried about going out of business. Does Tavia cook usually? She said, "I am not a 'Hell's Kitchen Goddess'...okay at cooking! My best dishes are tomato-potato soup, stir-fried beef with vegetables, and meat patties". After hearing this, Roger expressed wanting to throw up.

When Tavia was asked whether her husband, Him Law, has tried her cooking, she said, "He always says to my mom that he would later starve to death because my mom usually does not let me go into the kitchen. Cook for Roger next time!" However, Roger frankly said that he would rather starve to death than be willing to try Tavia's cooking, causing Tavia to not know whether to laugh or cry.

The Most Familiar with Raymond Lam, Ron Ng Has the Idea of Gathering for a Performance

CREDIT IF REPOSTED

Ming Pao Weekly Clip

Ming Pao Weekly Clip

Three years ago, Ron Ng did not renew his contract with TVB. The Shaw Brothers production "Flying Tiger" was first released on a mobile platform, and then returned to free TV broadcast. With the addition of Bosco Wong, who is already not signed with TVB, it suddenly made people miss 'S4' and the 'Olympic Six Guys' from back then. Ron has talked with Virginia Lok about whether they could do some reminiscing performances. "It's too difficult to shoot a movie. Can do a variety programme or shoot an ad".

Raymond Lam Took the Initiative to Make a Meal Appointment

In "Flying", Ron and Bosco are brothers who share the same father but different mothers. At the TV station, the two went from being young guys to mature men. Viewers can say that they watched them grow up. Back then, Ron and Bosco both belonged to "Triumph in the Skies"' rookie pilots, playing together when doing location filming in Australia. "Went out for drinks and played pool with Francis Ng...considered to have met each other in our youth".

Ron, Raymond Lam, Kenneth Ma, Sammul Chan, Lai Lok Yi, and Bosco were called the 'Olympic Six Guys' by TVB. Later, they had their own developments, but some still meet up.

"The one [I] see the most is Raymond. Having a meal or chatting at home, usually it is a big group of people, which includes Joel Chan. Would meet up often. Back then, when I was in the Dancing Class, Raymond was in the Acting Class. The two classes were held together. We did greet each other. He didn't talk much at the time...sat on the side like a pampered young guy. Later, I switched from being a dancer to an artiste. He had just finished filming "A Step into the Past"...suddenly called me and asked me to come out for dinner. Most of the things we talk about are trivial things. Back in that era, talked about playing video games, buying clothes, and trending topics...started getting familiar with each other until now".

The Idea of Gathering the Five Guys for a Performance

As for Kenneth, he has been doing well at TVB in the past two years; Ron is also familiar with him. "The last time I ran into him outside of TVB was visiting Linda Chung's daughter together. It was already a long time ago". As for Lai Lok Yi, because they didn't work on many series together, relatively speaking, they are not considered to be familiar with one another.

Ron has always had the idea of gathering the 'five guys' for a performance. "The chances are very hard...basically impossible. Talking about shooting a movie. I was wondering if we could create a scene where these five people come out to gather together, but it is very difficult for us to get together. I have talked about it with Miss Lok, but it is very difficult. Everyone is busy with his own thing, and some are not in Hong Kong".

Thanks Louis Koo for His Guidance, Ron Ng Was a Backup Dancer for "On Trend"

Recently, Louis Koo's 《今期流行》 has gotten a resurgence in popularity. Everyone was vying to see Louis' dancing. This is a song from the year 2000. Back then, Ron was still a TVB dancer and was a backup dancer for Louis.

"That's when he told me to switch to filming series, and that was the song". Ron also did the 'deity worship' action. "Our choreograher choreographed it for us. I really don't understand...what's so funny? The choreographer choreographed it attentively. I performed it at a show in studio one; however, because the makeup was quite unique, the lighting was dark, and there were ten-plus dancers, everyone won't recognize me. I didn't shoot the MV though".

He said that he has little contact with Louis, and wanted to say through this interview, "Congratulations on winning 'Best Actor'. Thanks to him for guiding me".

The Life of Rushing to Film Was Inhumane

Recalling the days of rushing series at TVB, Ron said bluntly that it was inhumane. "When signing the contract, said that 'there was no time to sleep'. Did not sleep up to seven days. Had a body but no soul at all. Remember shooting 'Find the Light' opposite Damian Lau. At the time, it was already the sixth day of no sleep. It was four o'clock in the morning. The two pages of dialogue were all said by me. On the first take, I already NG-ed on the third sentence because my mind already went blank. On the second take, I already NG-ed on the second sentence. On the third take, I already NG-ed on the first sentence. I said that I couldn't take it; my mind already couldn't think of anything. The director could only say that we would shoot again tomorrow. Actually went home at four o'clock, and had to work again two hours later. Could only sleep for a while".

Mother Worried About Him Having No Work

Three years ago, he did not renew his contract with TVB. It was not because it was too much hard work, but because of hoping to try a new environment. He said that his mom was also worried for him at first. What to do if there is no money for household expenses? "She asked me, 'Are you scared?' Actually, I rarely tell my mom what kind of work I have. When she saw me at home in the afternoon, felt that I rarely go to work. I said, 'I am going to work at night. You just didn't know'. Sometimes I went to shoot 'Shock Wave', and shot until morning before going home. She thought that I finished partying. I said, 'No. Went to work'. I told her not to worry".

Fortunately, in the past three years of venturing out of TVB, apart from filming Andy Lau's "Shock", he has also signed onto a movie company, and will soon be shooting a small lighthearted romantic comedy production, playing a pair with Niki Chow, and will then film "Flying Tiger 2".

Urged to Have Offspring to Continue the Family Tree

Another thing that Mother Ng worries about is when Ron will be giving her grandchildren.

"I said, 'Wait a bit'. She has asked me when I'll be having a son but didn't ask me when I'm getting married. She asked, "When are you bringing back a son? You know that you are the only male in the Ng family in Hong Kong. The matter of producing male offspring to continue the family line...you understand'. I said that I don't even have a girlfriend; how can I have a son? She said, 'I don't care which girlfriend it is. I don't mind who the daughter-in-law is. In short, I need offspring to continue the family tree".

- The genre is investigation and suspense.
- The series talks about 18 years ago, when a group of village guys, Shaun Tam, Joel Chan, Auston Lam, et al., went to a barbecue one time, and they had an argument with another youth. After chasing after that youth to a certain place, they discover that that youth was already dead. At that time, they were only 17 or 18 years old; they did not know what to do, so they decided to bury the dead body. After that, they did not contact each other and acted as though the whole matter never occurred. Eighteen years later, a traffic accident leads to the outside world discovering that corpse, and this case also becomes exposed.
- Shaun will play an accountant. He is a refined rascal. He does every evil deed. He is one of the murder suspects. He originally has a good relationship with girlfriend Candice Chiu, but she slightly looks down on his village roots; in addition, she has a bad relationship with his mother, so his mother also works hard to match him up with Mandy Wong. He has intimate scenes with Mandy and Candice.
- Mandy will play Yuen Lai Kan (阮麗瑾), an Inspector of Police of the Major Crimes Unit responsible for investigating a murder case from 18 years ago. During the investigation, she discovers that the case is related to her father, Dominic Lam; however, because her mother, Elvina Kong, is not in good health, she does to dare to say it out. Her relationship with Dominic is harmonious at first, but their relationship later falls apart. She and Dominic have a couple-like father-daughter relationship, as she would call him 'honey'. She greatly trusts in him; however, in the later plotlines, she discovers some matters in which he is very problematic. Later, she breaks down and starts to no longer believe in her father. Shaun is one of the parties whom she is mainly investigating, but she later falls for him, and they end up dating. During the investigation, she initially suspects Shaun but later discovers that he is a filial person; when feeling dejected, their romance also begins to develop....
- Joel will play Sam King Yat (沈敬一), a gang leader. He and Vivien Yeo have a tragic romantic storyline. He is also called 「一哥」.
- Vivien will play Tse Ka Sin (謝家倩), a deaf and mute bar girl. She has been mute since she was young. When she was younger, she encountered an exhibitionist; because Joel rescued her, she develops a crush on Joel. There is a scene where Joel gets ganged up and beaten, so she uses a motorcycle to crash into the direction of those people, saving him from being surrounded again. She is Ho Yuen Tung's younger sister.
- Dominic has a lot of personality. In the '80s, he was a soldier fighting a war in Vietnam, later escaping to Hong Kong as a Vietnamese refugee. When he went to Hong Kong, he worked at a gold shop, where he met Elvina, who was the daughter of the gold shop owner. Because he knew that his Vietnamese friend had plans to rob the gold shop, he saves Elvina; because of this, the two fall in love and later get married.
- Elvina will play Mandy's mother; they have a good relationship. She has a congenital heart defect; thus, when Mandy discovers that her father, Dominic, is related to the case, she does not dare to mention it to her mother.
- Candice will play Joanne, Shaun's girlfriend. Mandy is her romantic rival. She and Shaun have a good relationship; however, because she has too much ambition, they drift further and further apart, eventually breaking up in the end.
- Ho Yuen Tung will play a murder suspect. He, Joel, and Shaun are village friends. He is too good of a person; he is not as ruthless as Joel and is not as smart as Shaun. He always thinks negatively. Because of the case from 18 years age, he can only sleep in the living room, and he frequently loses sleep. He has a romantic storyline.
