Starring Kenneth Ma, Sisley Choi, Samantha Ko, and Tony Hung, the TVB series "The Airport Diary" talked about the daily operations of the Hong Kong International Airport. This series received the full support of the Airport Authority; its filming had also been praised for being realistic and down-to-earth. The series finished airing last week and received a good rating of 21.9 points. Compared with the rating of 20.3 points recorded for the cross-platform live broadcast of the first-line series in 2023, it increased by 1.6 points, which means that the average number of viewers per minute of this series increased from 1,307,000 to 1,421,000. The series was also loved by viewers of all ages, especially those with high positions, high education, and shopping decision makers; the number of viewers in these categories increased by over 20 percent.
"Airport" is also very popular in Mainland. The number of viewers in the Guangdong province soared, with an average of nearly 1,400,000 viewers per minute. Compared with the total average ratings of first-line series from last year, it increased by 34 percent, surpassing the hit series "The QUEEN of News", "Narcotics Heroes", and "The Invisibles". Overall, "Airport" had a cumulative audience of 10,600,000 viewers in Hong Kong and the Guangdong province. The cumulative streaming views of this series on myTV SUPER reached 1,468,665 times, placing fourth in the rewatch ranking. In addition, the clips of the series released by TVB's official accounts on major social media platforms have been viewed over 9,000,000 times, and the cumulative topic reads on Weibo has exceeded 16,600,000.
A Greater Familiarity with the Airport
Kenneth is very happy about the success of the series and hopes to be able to do something again, dispelling the boring sentiment: "When it came out, some people said, 'It's very boring with Ma Ming again'. Now, the good ratings represent that there are still many viewers who like to watch Ma Ming. Very thankful to netizens for leaving messages of support on social media. I am also very touched to have a group of fans who support me". He even expressed that he is even more proud of the Hong Kong International Airport after the filming: "After filming, have a stronger feeling about the airport. There's a great sense of familiarity. Going to the airport again has the feeling of going home. The series made me know a lot more about the airport, and I am proud that Hong Kong has this international airport that belongs to us". Sisley is also grateful for the good ratings: "Hope that the viewers felt relaxed after watching it and broadened their knowledge about the greatness of the airport".
Samantha Ko and Tony Hung's Continuous Love
Samantha believes that the good ratings of "Airport" represent a good start to the new year. She pointed out that this series only had ten episodes, but it was filmed on real locations at the airport for three months. The production time was quite long...believe that the viewers could also see the care that was put in the production. Along with the realistic story, she has confidence that it will make even more viewers like this type of realistic series.
In the series, Samantha and Tony play an airport passenger services manager and a security manager respectively. The two's romantic storyline left a deep impression. Tony has always been by Samantha's side, supporting her in fighting with her ex-husband for custody of her child, and even being persistent in pursuing her. Samantha particularly likes this romantic storyline; she finds it warm and light and would make people smile.
Tiffany Lau Taking on the Challenge of Being a Pilot
Tiffany Lau just won the 'Most Improved Female Artiste' at the "TV Awards Presentation". She, who acted as a flight attendant in "Airport" was called the 'Prettiest Flight Attendant' by netizens. She expressed that she was extremely happy during the filming process and hopes that there can be sequel and to be able to play a flight attendant again or take on the challenge playing a pilot: "Did not expect the response to playing a flight attendant this time to be so good. Ali Lee Coming Out the Freezer to Film a Comedy with Shaun Tam

Ali [Lee], who has already not filmed a series for over two years, has some good news circulating recently. It is known that she will collaborate with TV king Shaun Tam in the TVB comedy "Mahjong Orchestra" at the end of March! This series is a story about mahjong and music. Ali, who plays a woman in charge of the finances of a mahjong parlour, has a bold personality; she and her boss and single father Shaun are a bickering pair, even developing a romantic storyline. Rosita Kwok, who is getting promoted by TVB, is playing Shaun's daughter. This is the first time that Ali and Shaun are collaborating in a series. If Ali decides to not renew her contract in the end, "Mahjong" will be her last work in TVB.

Moses Chan and Jessica Hsuan Fall in Love Again, Brothers Him Law and Bosco Wong Fall Out

Moses Chan was officially notified earlier that he will be filming the new Shaw Brothers series "Law Enforcers" with Bosco Wong, Kenneth Ma, and Him Law. It is reported that, after playing a lawyer in the series "Will Power" ten years ago, Moses will play a legal officer again. The series is scheduled to start filming before the Lunar New Year.
Jessica Hsuan has been invited to join, developing a romantic storyline with [Moses]. Apart from Jessica, Moses will also have many scenes with Kenneth, who is playing an important member of the ICAC.

As for Him, who has not released a series for about two years, he played a rich second generation villain for the first time when filming "Modern Dynasty: The Successor" last year, and he previously jokingly said that he is already expecting that, after the series airs, he may he 'so detestable that the entire street will yell at [him]'. In "Law", he is not 'turning over a new leaf', playing a law enforcement officer who becomes evil due to being fixated on his own opinions. Although he and his superior, Bosco, have a deep brotherhood, they eventually go their separate ways, forming an opposing situation. The character changes are full of layers; it is believed that enough preparatory work has to be done beforehand to be able to handle it.
It is reported that the filming period of the 25-episode "Law" will last three months, and it is expected to wrap up as soon as May. The entire series is filming in Hong Kong. At the same time, the series crew has invited Lawrence Ng to join to 'command the big picture' to accommodate the performance of the 'four males and one female'. The cast alone is already a rare sight in recent years, and the production fee is naturally very considerable!

Kenneth Ma Not Afraid of Roxanne Tong Being Jealous When Praising the Beauty of Female Artistes

Kenneth Ma Wins Two Awards and Praises Roxanne Tong for Bringing Luck to the Husband, Sweetly Smiles Backstage Upon the Mention of His Wife

"TV Awards Presentation 2023" was grandly held at the Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau [today]. Kenneth Ma won 'Favourite TVB Actor in a Leading Role (Malaysia)' for "The QUEEN of News" and 'Best Dressed Male Artiste'. He expressed on stage, "Of course, I have to thank my wife because, [if] she is happy, then it will bring good luck to the husband!" The entire audience cheered. He also pointed out that there is no 'My Favourite TV Male Character' this year and said that he is a four-time winner; no one can break his record.
When Roxanne Tong went on stage to present 'Best Actor', she passed by Kenneth; Kenneth did not forget to touch Roxanne's hand to cheer her on. In a backstage interview, he said that he took part in the three highest-rated series and felt fortunate. Also very happy even if there is no award. The happiest thing was seeing Jazz Lam win an award, and even said that, when Jazz was giving his speech on stage, he was also teary-eyed: "Was happier about him winning an award than me winning!"
Leaving Being a Father to Fate
Kenneth also hopes to be able to meet with the "A Fistful of Stances" family to exchange New Year's greetings in the New Year, but frankly said that it is extremely difficult to meet. When asked how he would be celebrating with his wife, he expressed that they would simply be having a meal...already very satisfied to have a meal together. When asked when he would become a father, Kenneth expressed that everything is being left to fate, and said that, even if they have a child and work hard now, it still has to be the end of the year, frankly saying that the two do not mind having children and will not insist on it.

The TVB series "You're Just Not Her" is airing its finale tonight. Last night, Kenneth Ma, the biggest Easter egg in the entire series, also finally appeared. Playing the taxi driver 'Ma Ming', his main job in the series is to develop an older female and younger male romance with Stephanie Che, who plays 'Lam Sin'. What's funny is that, in real life, Kenneth has just become a husband. In the series, he not only claimed to be single and to have a 'very boring' personality, but he also talked about the conditions for choosing a partner and how the two sexes can get along with one another: "As a woman, don't have to be so tough all the time...don't have to try to bear as much as one can. Occasionally show a bit of a woman's tenderness. If [you] need a shoulder, then speak up. A lot of men would be timid and would not dare to pursue [when] they see a woman who is too tough". The new series "The Airport Diary", starring the artistes Kenneth Ma, Sisley Choi, Brian Chu, Tiffany Lau, Rosita Kwok, Ricco Ng, Tony Hung, et al., will be premiering next Monday. A promotion was held today. Albert Chau sang the theme song, 「飛常日記」, on site, revealing that the deepest memory he left at the airport was proposing to his wife at the airport.
Kenneth, who is the duty manager of the central control centre, is the ex-husband of Sisley, an airport manager of an airline. [When] he entered the central control centre for the first time, the feeling was spectacular. The staff were immersed in their work as though they were at war. He feels that the airport is a team; not a single one is dispensable. He said, "The most memorable thing was that entering the central control centre was like entering a superhero base. Going in, felt that I was also very cool".
There was a scene where [he] was chatting with Tony and Tsui Wing in a restricted area...saw a plane next to [them] preparing to take off...it was a very interesting feeling. Lin Xia Wei recently returned to Hong Kong to recuperate after falling ill during the filming of "Darkside of the Moon". Kenneth expressed that he learned about this matter from the "Speakers of Law" group but has not contacted [her] yet. [He] hopes that Xia Wei recovers as soon as possible, pointing out that many people have caught a cold recently. Asked if he is not afraid of catching a cold because he has a wife to tuck him in, he sweetly said, "Tuck each other in! Also happy. Recently, it has been rumoured that Bowie Lam, who has been away from TVB for 13 years, has a chance of returning to TVB to film the new series "Detective Investigation Files 12". It was said that this return was facilitated by Chung Shu Kai, the producer of "The QUEEN of News", who currently mainly acts as the executive producer of TVB's grand productions. It is known that Frankie Tam, the screenwriter of the movie "The Sparring Partner" is acting as the copy editor of "Detective". Apart from Bowie, the cast includes Kenneth Ma and Alice Chan as the leads.
Today, Kenneth appeared at the Hong Kong International Airport to attend a promotional event for the series "Airport", and was interviewed by hk01 about the aforementioned rumours. He expressed, "I also only knew that it said that I had a part when I saw the news. Actually, the company has never said that I had a part, so I also don't know why this rumour would come about. However, I have heard that this series will be filmed. When filming 'QUEEN' before, already heard [Chung Shu] Kai say that he wanted to find Bowie to do it. Only heard him say this much. - Gigi will participate in five days of filming. Many of her songs will be interspersed in the series. There will be scenes of her singing and humming songs. There are a few songs in which she will only sing one section, and one of them will be a new song created for the series and will be released in its entirety.
- Gigi will play a dream-chasing girl who loves music. She really likes to sing and hopes to pursue her dream of music, but her parents are extremely opposed to it, believing that she should study hard and become a professional in the future. Later, she discovers that her father also previously had a dream but decided to give up for the sake of his family. During the process, her father is moved by her enthusiasm, allowing her to pursue her dream, and he also regains his lost dream.

- The series is a one-episode musical (i.e., music special).
- The plot talks about Gigi Yim chasing her dreams while searching for the past, relying on the help of the male lead, Kyle Lee, to regain her confidence.
- Gigi will participate in five days of filming. Many of her songs will be interspersed in the series. There will be scenes of her singing and humming songs. There are a few songs in which she will only sing one section, and one of them will be a new song created for the series and will be released in its entirety.
- Gigi will play a dream-chasing girl who loves music. She really likes to sing and hopes to pursue her dream of music, but her parents are extremely opposed to it, believing that she should study hard and become a professional in the future. Later, she discovers that her father also previously had a dream but decided to give up for the sake of his family. Kenneth Ma Taking Care of His Body to Make a Baby

TV king Kenneth Ma, Ruco Chan, Jinny Ng, James Ng, and other TVB employees attended the second night of the annual staff poon choi banquet held at TVB City tonight. Jinny and James even arrived early and prepared their own promotional leaflets and wore sashes to canvass for votes for the nominations that they were shortlisted for in "TV Awards Presentation 2023". Kelly Fu also prepared her own roll-up banner, diligently canvassing for votes for herself.
At the poon choi banquet, James was arranged to sing live, and Karl Ting, Archie Sin, and a few of the "Asia Super Young" students also sang and dance on the second night. As for Jinny, James, Kenneth, Ruco, Kelly Gu, et al., who are shortlisted for the anniversary awards, they were also arranged to go on stage to canvass for votes. Kenneth, Moon Lau, and Karl Ting even got people on site lining up to take pictures with them...were extremely popular.
When interviewed, Kenneth, who had just gotten married, said that he is very happy and shared that he and his wife, Roxanne Tong, ate crazily during Christmas, but the two exercise regularly; thus, even if they indulge occasionally, they would not gain weight easily. Asked if the couple has any plans to make a baby, Kenneth said, "We greatly welcome it. If the heavens give us this gift, we would be very happy to accept it. Of course, also have to take care of our bodies, especially the female. (Has [your mother] rushed [you]?) They are also leaving it to fate...have not given us any pressure because my parents already have grandchildren. However, don't know if Roxanne's parents would be more anxious or not because they don't have grandchildren yet, but they also haven't talked about it in front of us. Thus, Roxanne and I have an understanding: leaving it to fate". He also pointed out that they are raising cats now and are already raising them as though they are their children.
Talking about canvassing for votes, Kenneth expressed that, every year, he would not canvass for votes, nor would he vote for himself: "I feel that canvassing for votes for myself is a very awkward matter because votes are cast by the audience; thus, I never canvass for votes for myself". However, he also said that he would help canvass for votes for the series that he has a part in, saying that, whether it is "The Invisibles", "Speakers of Law", "The QUEEN of News", or "Narcotics Heroes", in which there is only one scene of screentime, he also hopes that the series that he participated in would all be able to have good results: "I have no selfish motives. Perhaps it's because I play soccer. As long as I am involved in the series, would also want it to have good results. As for how the awards are distributed, leaving it to the viewers". [He] gave an advanced notice that [he] will definitely attend the awards presentation, believing that, every year, the anniversary gala and the awards presentation are the times when everyone is present at the company. If [you] want to see [your] friends, then [you] must attend these two grand occasions. [He] also said that it's okay if [he] does not have an award: "Well, [if] I don't have an award, then happy for others. When I win an award, others can also me happy for me". However, he did not look at the nomination list...does not know who has been shortlisted.
Hew Firewood on Days with Good Weather for Use on Rainy Days
Actually, Kenneth can be said to be raking in money recently, making money by constantly going around to do commercial performances and stage performances. He could not help but smile and frankly said, "Very happy. Hope for the more, the better". He explained that it was not because he is in a rush to make money after getting married, but it is because the performing arts industry always has to plan ahead...'hew firewood on days with good weather for use on rainy days', saying, "Sometimes it would suddenly be very quiet and stop for two years; thus, if the results that year are not bad, hope to make more".
Although there is a normal attitude toward awards, Kenneth will choose the outfit for attending the awards presentation with the utmost care, laughingly saying, "Because even if there is no award, still have to be stylish...the person has lost but has not lost in terms of the look". There will be a designer in charge of the outfit, expressing that his wife, Roxanne, has always not interfered in this aspect, saying, "The most she would say afterward is, 'You wear it so-so' or 'Look quite nice wearing it".

However, Roxanne seems to have very high requirements for photography. The other day, she uploaded sexy pictures of her wearing a one-piece swimsuit. Kenneth revealed that he took the pictures, frankly saying, "Took a lot of pictures and then let her choose. Took [pictures] until she had to demonstrate it once for me to see. May have taken a hundred [pictures] and would only choose three".
As for Roxanne uploading swimsuit pictures, Kenneth graciously said that he is not afraid of his wife losing out by being looked at, expressing, "It's the same as my character name in 'The Hippocratic Crush'...was only wearing a 'one-piece' (一件頭) swimsuit...not considered very sexy".
