- Nina Paw, Elena Kong, and Andrew Lam play a family that uses low-class methods in hopes of buying a building. The series uses lighthearted humour and has tears within laughter to tell the sorrows and struggles of Hong Kong people buying a building.
- Andrew Lam will play Che Chi Ming (車志明). He sold his building during the financial turmoil, so he and his wife, Elena, want to save up to buy the building back. Unfortunately, they have saved up for ten-plus years but cannot catch up to the housing prices and are unable to buy real estate; thus, their family uses low-class methods to make money, even wanting to forcibly occupy godmother Nina's public housing, using the public housing to change it into government housing, and then change to buying private housing. He has two daughters, Rosita Kwok and Yuki Law.
- Elena will play Karen Che Mok Man Wai (車莫汶慧). For some purposes, she wants to please Nina, who is her fake mother-in-law.
- Nina will play 「閔老太」, a clever senior whose public housing is sought by Andrew Lam's family. She is a king of complaints. She is a lonely old woman who stirs up trouble everywhere to get people's attention and concern. She is also called 「老小三」.
- Rosita will play Che Chin Chin (車芊芊), a skateboarding master. She is the daughter of Andrew Lam and Elena.
- Yuki will play Che Man Man (車蔓蔓), an 18-year-old girl. She is the younger daughter of Andrew Lam and Elena.
- Eric Tang will play Kwan Sai Hau (關細孝), a construction worker. He, Leo Kwan, and Bella Lam are a family; he is Leo's father and Bella's father-in-law. In order to continue living in public housing and not exceed the income limit, they decide to be lying flat-ists and work hea jobs.
- Leo will play Kwan Wai Lik (關偉力), a lying flat-ist.
- Bella will play Wong Yik Si (王亦詩), who accompanies her husband in being a lying flat-ist.
- Karl Ting will play a real estate agent. He does not know how to skateboard but learns it to woo Rosita. He and Rosita are a couple, but they separate and reunite in between.
- Andrew Yuen will play Ting Yau Sin (丁友善). He and Karl pursue Rosita.
- King Lam will play Man Ka Po (閔家寶).
- Heidi Chu will play Chung Hei Nam (鍾希嵐), Elena's younger cousin.
- Derek Wong will play 「保安陳」.
- Karlie Chung will play a character with a cunning and ambitious personality.
- Carmaney Wong will guest-star as Peggy, the principal of a Japanese school. She may have an ambiguous relationship with Andrew Lam, causing Elena to be jealous.
