Kenneth Ma Loves TVB and Myolie Wu

"As a member of TVB's big family, other than wishing happy birthday to TVB, I also have to say, 'I Love You!' This phrase is also written for Myolie Wu who is writing her wishes to TVB beside me. I saw her, so I couldn't resist. This phrase is written from my heart. Ha ha!"
Personal Note: Ma Ming wrote this on October 19th during the Light Switching Ceremony. He and Myolie were writing their wishes to TVB in the back of Kevin Cheng's clip. (The only reason why we clicked in his blog is because we noticed that Ma Ming was in the back of other people's clips.) Anyway, we watched the clip a billion times trying to figure out what they were doing. At first, we thought they were writing down the movements for the opening during the Light Switching Ceremony. Someone hands Ma Ming a piece of paper to write down his birthday wishes for TVB. That person then calls Myolie over to write her wishes down beside Ma Ming. Ma Ming then takes his piece of paper and walks out of the screen with the photographer. (He probably was getting his picture taken for TVB Weekly.) Myolie is still writing her wishes for TVB. As Myolie was about to walk out of the screen, Ma Ming comes running back and calls for her. He says something to her, and Myolie and the photographer leave with a smile on their faces.
I am super happy that we actually get an answer to what Ma Ming was doing! And the answer simply is that Ma Ming is just too cute!!!! :D He really does say 'I love you' to Myolie all the time. :) Not only does he say it on variety shows and radio interviews, but he also writes it on paper! ;P Myolie once mentioned on Cha Siu Yan's radio show that Ma Ming always says 'I love you' to her in the makeup room. :) Such a sweet talker! Even Selena said that all the girls are very happy when he flatters them! Ha ha.... :D

作為一個一線花旦，楊怡的新聞真的很少，嚴格來說，關於她的是非很少，基本上是零緋聞、零是非，那是好還是壞呢？訓練班出身的楊怡入行十年，去年憑《溏心風暴之家好月圓》中「_女」一角奪得2008年萬千星輝頒獎典禮「最佳女配角」。今年排名大躍進，與前輩鄧萃雯一爭視后寶座。如果你以為她會似姚金鈴般，為名為利不擇手段，那楊怡的答案令你氣餒，因為她只想做好本份。
翻看楊怡的資料，參加13期無線電視藝員訓練班出身的她今年剛好出道十年，那一年的同班同學還有林峰以及現在晚晚都會見到的徐榮。現今的一線花旦，幾乎都是選美出身，只有楊怡是從路人甲、乙到現在的女主角，成長之路看落又幾似「金鈴」，難怪楊怡要為角色說好話。「如果大家從第一集開始睇，就知道其實金玲都好可憐，她本性不壞，但因在宮中長大，好多時她不去害人，卻處處受人迫害，慢慢令她起了反擊之心。成為妃子後又為了保住地位，所以愈踏愈深、不能自拔。」

首演奸角，可能許多觀眾初時都會想「楊怡？得唔得架？」但看現在收視持續高企，大家都已經為楊怡投下信任一票，問到她初演奸角最難的地方，楊怡直言是眼神。「同以往演出唔同，演奸角眼神好緊要，事前做了很多準備工夫。因為平時做好人，我可能個樣已經表達到所要戲份，但做奸角，唔係你話個樣奸，別人就覺得你奸，開拍前我參考了米雪、菊姐在《家好》的演出，留意她們眼神。自己不斷在家對住塊鏡練習，務求用個心奸出來，令人不寒而慄。而且金鈴這角色好玩之處是分幾期的奸，去到後期個妝又唔同_，連說話都要壓低聲線，自己睇返都好似唔認得自己。」
近期觀眾茶餘飯後的話題，不外乎視帝視后之爭。外間一直看好四奶奶鄧萃雯成「視后」，但不少網民在討論區亦大讚楊怡演技出眾，有機會一爭「視后」，對此楊怡是否有信心越級挑戰呢？「好多謝網民對我的愛戴，但講到『視后』寶座，我真係睇好雯女_獎，雯女_獎係實至名歸。大家成日都問我演奸角是否想_獎？老實講，獎人人都想_，因為獎項代表鼓勵同認同，但如果講『視后』之位真的未係時候，入到圍已經當自己得_，最重要是要得到個好角色。今次是自己入行以來最難的一個角色，身、心都好難，你見我頭頂的頭飾好重，每日拍十多二十個小時，條頸好大壓力，一唔使入鏡，我就同心姐、米雪一人一個頸枕保護條頸。而因為是古裝劇，對白又長又多，我比平時用足一倍時間背對白，感情劇又唔想NG，因為一NG就要重新拍過，會累到其他人，所以劇中感情劇很多是一Take過。」

聽過好幾個男藝人說楊怡很男仔頭，和她拍劇不用擔心會有緋聞出現。訪問當日，記者親睹楊怡和其他男藝人相處，大家果然當佢是男仔看待。事緣拍專訪相時，在餐廳門口見到黃浩然、敖嘉年等，楊怡離遠已經大大聲同各人打招呼，黃浩然口花花地說：「嘩！個女仔好靚呀！」當楊怡滿心歡喜地說多謝時，冷不妨黃浩然又說一句：「講緊你新剪的短頭髮呀！」話畢，大家笑聲不絕，楊怡與黃浩然在記者面前上演一場追逐戰，兩人玩得不易樂乎。「我的性格就好男仔頭，所以男藝人見到我都鬆一口氣，最少知道唔會有咩是非、緋聞出現。其實入行咁耐，自己都見到好多不同的人和事，但自己本著的心態是用心待人。平時自己又唔鍾意招惹是非，一直以來都有記者朋友話我沒有新聞好吃虧，不如夾下新聞，我唔係扮清高唔想做，而係我都唔識點去做，當然我去買_你影到，我又OK。每個人行的路都不同，我是比較腳踏實地的人。」
其實楊怡在不知不覺間已經有改變，最少看她近年出騷的性感衣著，都令人眼前一亮，而間中亦會出席高層的生日晚會，這算不算是妥協呢？楊怡稱這為「正面的上位」，那什麼是「正面的上位」呢？「呢個是一個很好的問題，不刻意造緋聞、不刻意賣弄某些東西，但如果是工作上的需要，就可以接受。至於樂小姐、珍姐等叫食飯，時間配合到都會去，你試想一下，你生日請食飯都想大家畀面到場啦，這是人與人之間的相處禮貌，再者樂小姐生日可以打正旗號去玩，正！」

訪問尾聲，不禁再問楊怡，作為一個藝人真是沒有上位的野心嗎？見到身邊遲過自己出道，如鍾嘉欣、陳法拉、徐子珊都已經上位，難道楊怡真的唔心急嗎？「咁我都有試過心急，我是心急幾時有好劇本，每個人的時間表不一樣，現在我用十年時間打造。其實唔好以為TVB咁多人，你付出的努力沒人知，記得訓練班畢業初，我被派做歡樂小姐，當以為只是在鏡頭一閃而過時，但第二日早上，我收到公司電話，讚我笑得靚做得好，原來其他歡樂小姐都唔鍾意呢個job，得我一個肯笑，那次發現更微不足道的事，也會有人看到。香港人雖然好進取，但演戲就要慢，要用時間去浸演技，如果只有外表而冇演技，就只得外表冇靈魂。就算要我一直演落去都沒問題，做甘草都OK。呀，但甘草呢個名好似唔係咁好聽，你沒可能說司棋姐、菊姐是甘草，應該是資深演員，只要自己可以有繼續進步空間就做下去，在娛樂圈，做好本分很重要。」

I like how the reporter mentioned Tsui Wing and not Raymond Chiu. He also graduated from the same class as they did. You can also see Raymond Chiu as Marco on "Off Pedder" every night.
The other funny thing in this article is the part where the reporter mentions that many male artistes say that Tavia is a tomboy. Thus, when they film with her, they are not worried about rumours spreading. On the day of this interview, they saw Raymond Wong and Ngo Ka Nin at the restaurant entrance. Tavia loudly greeted them from afar. Then, Raymond Wong said, "Wow! That girl is very pretty!" When Tavia happily thanked him for saying that, Raymond Wong said coldly, "I was talking about your new hairstyle!" After saying that, everybody laughed. Tavia and Raymond Wong then chased after each other in front of the reporter. It is not easy for two people to play so happily. Tavia then explained that her personality is a tomboy. Thus, male artistes feel relaxed when they see her. They at least know that there will not be any bad press or any rumours.

"Shall We State the Case" @ 《TVB Weekly》 Issue 647 (Sales Presentation 2010)

Rational and Emotional; Twists and Turns of Mysterious Happenings
Cast: Raymond Lam, Tavia Yeung, Kenneth Ma, Bernice Liu, Astrid Chan, Evergreen Mak, Lee Kwok Lun, Mary Hon, Law Lok Lam, and Lee Sing Cheung.
In the new series "Shall We State the Case", Tavia plays a female police officer. She expressed that wearing the police uniform is very imposing. She said, "When wearing the police uniform, I have to raise my chest and suck in my abdomen, and you must have a fit body shape in order to look nice in it. The end result looks very heroic bearing". Also, in the series, she will be paired up with Raymond Lam, but Tavia laughingly said that they are not afraid of rumours spreading.
Kenneth Ma will take on the role as a player cop. In the series, he will have many girlfriends, and one will be the guest-starring Lisa S., and he will have many kiss scenes with Bernice Liu. Kenneth said, "This [character] is this year's best character. In order to take on the kiss scenes, I will bring a toothbrush and gum to work every day".

Everything can be explained through rationality and logic, but love is actually an exception! A professor meets a female police officer. They launch a rational and emotional romantic love story. In the middle of this, unusual cases that need to be solved through the physics point of view are also included. This adds to the series' interests to capture the audience.
Synopsis:
King Bok is labelled as the youngest talented physicist. He is hired to return to Hong Kong to become an assistant professor. Also, his good friend, Senior Inspector of Police Lo Ting Hang, invites him to help the police to solve mysterious cases through scientific analysis. He then meets police officer Tsui Siu Lai. King Bok is from a rich family, is rational, and is logical. Siu Lai is from a lower class family, is emotional, and counts on intuition. Two different people from different worlds. If they fall in love, they must withstand the test....
On the other hand, the promiscuous and uninhibited Tin Hang and old classmate Ling Man Ka maintained a purely sexual relationship. Later, Man Ka realizes that she has fallen in love with Tin Hang, but understands that they will not have a future together. Thus, she leaves Hong Kong. One day, Tin Hang runs into Man Ka, and finds out that she will be getting married with her boyfriend. Suddenly, Tin Hang realizes that he does not want to lose her....
Caption 1: Kenneth Ma and Tavia Yeung, who play police officers in the series, will work together to solve mysterious cases.
Caption 2: In real life, Tavia Yeung's mother has always wanted her to become a female police officer. Tavia can finally fulfill her mother's wish by playing a police officer in this series.

Too Happy Filming in Hokkaido to Be Homesick: Michael Tse and Tavia Yeung Kiss Romantically in Snow
Michael Tse, Julian Cheung (Chi Lam), and Tavia Yeung went to Hokkaido to film for "The Morning of the Flying Fish in Hanami". Apart from filming, they can enjoy the beautiful scenery, and indulge in sashimi and Japanese cuisine. After arriving in Hokkaido for a week, they ate non-stop, and it seemed as if they were filming a food and drink programme. However, Michael and Chi Lam will have a hot springs scene, and they will be required to reveal the top half of their body, so they cannot eat too much. Michael said, "It is not hard to hold back on eating, but the most laborious is the hot springs area. They only allow us to film there in the morning from 7 to 8. The weather is very cold, so my mouth is shivering when I say my lines". Michael and Tavia will play a couple, and Michael said that, in his career, Tavia is the female artiste he has had the most kiss scenes with. He said, "This time, I will have four kiss scenes with her. I have never kissed that many times before [in series]. It also snowed during the filming process, so it felt a bit romantic". Michael is also most happy to work with his idol. "Actually, this is my first time working with Damian Lau. He is my idol, and I have learned a lot from him. Generally speaking, I am very happy filming this series!"
