Chow Yun Fat Supports Bobby for 「35th International Emmy Awards」

Yesterday, Bobby Au Yeung, Charmaine Sheh, Wayne Lai, and Joyce Tang were filming a Sales Presentation clip for TVB. Charmaine was asked if she was upset for not making the final five for 'Best Actress' at the 「35th International Emmy Awards」. She expressed, "I'm happy and honoured to be nominated in the first place. I still have time left, and it is a great start. I give Bobby my full support. I hope he can make us proud".

After attending TVB's 40th Anniversary Awards (November 17), Bobby will fly to New York with his wife to attend the Emmys. Also, Chow Yun Fat even called Bobby to give him his support. Bobby said, "Fat Gor told me to attend it with a normal attitude, and he said that I'm the first one to be nominated; thus, even if I don't win, I still gave pride to Hong Kong. He also told me not to be nervous but I'm still a little bit nervous because I have not walked down the red carpet before!"

歐陽震華（Bobby）與佘詩曼等昨日為無線拍攝節目巡禮，原本兩人分別在美國《第35屆艾美獎》角逐「最佳男、女主角」，可惜阿佘最終未能入選五強，她 表示未有失望：「有提名已經好開心同好榮幸，今次係個好開始，仲有大把時間。依家全力支持Bobby，希望佢為我o地爭光。」

而Bobby則已計劃在台慶頒獎禮翌日（下月十八日）趕往出席《艾美獎》，除獲太太同行支持外，連周潤發也致電「闆路」，Bobby說：「發哥叫我以平常 心看待，佢話我係第一個提名，就算羅唔到都已經為港爭光，叫我唔好咁緊張，但我真係有d緊張囉！咁大個仔都未行過紅地氈！」

Wong He to Film "Burning Flame III" in 2008

With the anniversary just ahead, TVB has been busy trying to film all of their sales presentation clips. TVB has plans on filming "Burning Flame III". The third installment will be a big production series for 2008 and will be filmed early next year. The cast members from the previous two will be "out". The only one remaining will be Wong He and new members, such as Steven Ma and Bosco Wong, will be added.

The sales presentation clip was filmed earlier with a fire explosion scene. Also present during this shot were Matthew Ko and Timmy Hung.

During the shoot, the experienced Wong He was very serious and professional. Steven, on the other hand, was joking around, and Bosco was expressionless.

With a new storyline for next year's "Burning Flame III", Wong He will continue to carry on the "Firefighter's Glory" as the male lead.

It was officially announced that Bobby had made it into the final five nominees for 'Best Performance by an Actor'. Originally, there was supposed to be only a final four; however, two of the nominees were tied in votes.

Personal Note: Congratulations to Bobby! Although Bobby is not confident in winning, I still hope that he will able to attend the event. Not only will he be representing TVB, he will also be representing Hong Kong! Go, Bobby! Go, Bobby! Go, Bobby!

'07 Anniversary Time IV

Most Improved Male Artiste
My Guess: Lai Lok Yi

Too bad Sammul Chan is not under TVB management because he would for sure be nominated and guaranteed to win this award. Since he is not a TVB-er, the award has a greater chance of going to Lai Lok Yi. Even if Lai Lok Yi wins this award, TVB will not be giving him leading roles because they already have Raymond Lam, Ron Ng, Bosco Wong, and Kenneth Ma.

This title should be awarded to Wong Cho Lam for Lau Wah in "Best Selling Secrets". Wong is a talented young actor who can sing, act, and imitate gestures and sounds. Even TVB artistes like Charles Szeto, who is a year younger than Wong, take acting lessons from him. There is a chance that Wong might take the award since he is on TVB executive Stephen Chan's list of artistes to promote heavily.

Most Improved Female Artiste
My Guess: Bernice Liu or Kate Tsui

Bernice was supposed to win this award in 2005. That year she had three series and she did improve in performance. For Bernice to win the award this year seems to be a little late. Even though the series "Steps" was tailor-made for her, Bernice has been criticized terribly for her acting. The only reason TVB would give her the award is because Bernice was revealed the most profited artiste for TVB this year.

Other than Linda Chung, Kate is the only TVB female artiste to film in movies this year. She has been praised by big-time director Johnnie To for her movie debut in "Eye in the Sky". Although Kate has been bashed for her character in "On the First Beat", she quickly won the audience back with her character in "Steps"...some even saying that she out-danced Bernice in the show. However, Kate did show improvement in acting.

If TVB decides to give 'Most Improved Female Artiste' to Kate, then TVB will give Bernice 'My Favourite Female TV Character'. TVB loves to play with gimmicks. If Moses is going to win 'Best Actor', TVB is going to give Bernice a major award so that she can be on stage with Moses. Whenever they show up at an event together as a couple, their pay is doubled. With the amount of money they make, TVB will do whatever it takes to get every penny, which means that Bernice will be a winner on awards night.

My Guess: Benz Hui

With Wayne Lai being nominated as a male lead in "Steps", this award is definitely Benz's portrayal of Ah Wing in "Dicey Business". Who can forget the feminine character Ah Wing frequently calling Bobby Au Yeung and Michael Miu "Baby" and "Honey"? There is an old saying, “牡丹雖好﹐但仍需要綠葉扶持”, which literally means, "Although the flower is good, it still needs the support of the green leaves". A series is not a whole without the support of the skilled "Green Leaf" actors. If Benz does win, he will for sure thank Miss Lok in his acceptance speech.

Best Supporting Actress
My Guess: Gigi Wong

Since "The Drive of Life" is such a big production series, it has to win some kind of award. It will probably win 'Best Promotional Clip', but if TVB wants to give the series another award, then it will have to be from this category. Gigi Jeh is qualified to win this award. It would be great to see the three 'Dong Ka Fa Dans' (Si Kei Jeh, Liza Jeh, and Gigi Jeh) on stage receiving awards.

Maggie Cheung's Toy Figurines II

Maggie auctioned off her 7 creations on October 6th 2007. Maggie chose characters from her past representative series. Of the 7 toy figurines, the Q version of Bo Chu was the centre of attention. After deducting all the essentials, all of the profits were donated to HK's Aids Foundation.
