Hins Cheung releases a second edition to 《Urban Emotions》. Hins' advantage is his powerful, echoing voice. The recommended songs in this album include "His Story" (track 1), "Under the Sakura Tree" (track 3), "Invisible Person" (track 4), "Dead Drunk Angel" (track 7), "Has to Speak Out" (track 9), and "Xue Hua Chao" (track 10). "Kissing Too Realistically" (track 14) is the Mandarin version of his last year's big hit, "Cruel Love".
Hins dedicated "Dead Drunk Angel" (track 7) to his passed away photographer friend, JC. The music talents behind "Has to Speak Out" (track 9) are the same people who did Eason Chan's "Under Mount Fuji" and Kay Tse's "Zhong Wu Yan". Lyricist Lin Xi wrote each line consisting of 25 characters, and Hins had to sing it in one breath. The difficulty level was high, but it was no vociferous challenge that Hins could not handle. The album also features a Cantonese version and a Mandarin version of "Hate That I Love You" (track 12 & 13) with R&B artist Rihanna. Due to copyright issues, Hins was not able to duet with Rihanna in the song. If they were to sing in sync, it would have had a better connection.
Overall, this album is a whole new experience from "Cruel Love". Hins incorporated more fast songs into the album introducing listeners to more music genres.

My rating: 9/10
Ever since "My Way" and "Anticipate", Hins was a new star waiting to shine. I have never questioned his singing abilities. Hins has the skill to hit every hit note, even notes that are impossible for others to hit. His voice is very calm and very relaxing to listen to. Personal favourites include "His Story", "Under the Sakura Tree", and "Has to Speak Out".
