TVB is holding its [54th] anniversary gala tonight. Kenneth Ma and Roxanne Tong attended in black and white. The two denied that they were attending as a couple partnership, and pointed out that they did not deliberately match their outfits. Kenneth frankly said, "The few [people] just next to me were also wearing black and white outfits...these are very common!"
Recently, it has been said online that the two would be doing a reality show at the gala; Kenneth immediately denied this and said that the surprise given to everyone tonight is believed to be that "I will be winning money tonight". As for it being said that Roxanne's father has a net worth of one billion, and Kenneth is about to become a one billion son-in-law, Kenneth disagreed, "When the time comes, you can see! Also ask these every time, and also ask every time a series is released...not responding!" As for the rumour about Roxanne having a rich father, Kenneth laughingly said, "If she has one billion, would also not be in TVB". Roxanne added, "I think that [if] it were true, I would have to go home and collect some rent. Do not have to work so hard". [She] also expressed [her] gratitude to everyone for his or her concern, but afraid that everyone would have 'no sense of novelty' from responding to too many rumours of marriage.
Asking Roxanne whether she had watched "Kids' Lives Matter", which stars Kenneth, Kenneth rushed to half-jokingly say, "She doesn't seem to have watched it. I am also working...have not had the time to watch it".
However, Roxanne added, "His acting skills are unquestionable, but it's very heartwarming that the series' feedback has been great. When commenting on the performances in the series, the most touching thing is that the kids' acting skills are great. The whole thing is very heartwarming. There is a great feeling of family affection".
