The live television ratings of the gala averaged 24.7 points (approximately 1,620,000 viewers), and peaked at 27.8 points (approximately 1,820,000 viewers). The segment with the highest ratings was 「思密Party」, hosted by Johnson Lee.

Personal Note: Was expecting a lot more from this gala, since it is the first one since the return of Eric Tsang and Wong Cho Lam, but only the "Family Feud" segment was enjoyable....

Disappointed that the "Stars Academy" candidates did not appear more....

The skit was basically a long and unamusing version of the one that Stephen Chow, Francis Ng, Eddie Cheung, Lau Ching Wan, and Roger Kwok did back then. It also would have been better if the other monkeys had more to do than just state their names and which acting class they were from at the end....
