Ruco Chan Does Not Mind Propping Up Owen Cheung: 'This Battle Has to Be Fought'

The new TVB series "Falling in Love with You When You Are a Kid", led by Samantha Ko and Owen Cheung, was originally scheduled to start filming in March, but it was rumoured that, during the script reading, the company's upper management discovered that something was off, immediately halted the shoot, and ordered that there be 'major revisions' to the script. At the time, the series' producer, Liu Chun Sek, said that 'the script could indeed be better'.

It has been rumoured that [Owen] has already officially been replaced, with Ruco taking over his role and romancing Samantha in the series. In an interview with hk01, Ruco revealed that he and Owen will be revolving around Samantha at the same time in the series: "My character now was originally Cheung Wing Hong's. The company has arranged for me to do it, so perhaps [they] feel that it suits me, and want to do what is best for the matter. I have looked at the script and feel that there is no big problem. Have also gone to do script readings these past few days. (Do you feel that you have been arranged to prop up Owen?) It doesn't really matter to me. A TV king complementing him is okay as long as viewers find it okay and watch it comfortably". Ruco believes that "Sinister Beings" has regained the audience's confidence in the company, as well as its reputation, so future works should be done even better, so [he] greatly understands the 'major revisions' that had to be made to the script of "Falling", and said that 'this battle has to be fought'.

Leaving Being a Dad to Fate! Kenneth Ma Learning from Eliza Sam's Husband, Kiki Sheung Reveals That It Will Be His Turn Soon

Artiste Kenneth Ma went to Mainland for work earlier and stayed for over a month, finally returning to Hong Kong the other day. He, who missed many promotions for his starring series "Plan 'B'", returned this afternoon and met up with his partner, Eliza Sam, Kiki Sheung, Mimi Kung, Chu Fei Fei, et al. at TVB City to promote. At the event, Kenneth held his daughter, 'Tung Tung' (Libby Leung), in his arms and could not put her down, spoke baby language and called himself 'Dad', and also said that he does not oppose to becoming a dad in real life, looking like a loving father, and getting teased by Kiki in the end, "It will be his turn soon!"

Afterward, Kenneth and Eliza were interviewed together. The reporter jokingly pointed out that the former had earned a lot from commercial performances in Mainland? He laughingly clarified, "No. Just finding a meal to eat". He frankly said that he was originally going to stay in Mainland for a longer period of time but was suddenly notified ten-plus days ago that he has to film the new series "Stealth Team", and has thus turned down work that was being negotiated to return to Hong Kong sooner than planned.

Regarding it being rumoured that "Stealth" was originally starring Ruco Chan, but there was a 'change in formation' with him taking over. Kenneth frankly said, "Not sure, but also don't mind. Synopsis: Three years ago, 'Yiu Yeung' (曜洋), 'Ka Keung' (家強), 'Po Po' (寶寶), and 'Tai Nam' (帶囡) belonged to the Counter Terrorism Response Unit (CTRU). A wrong decision made by 'Yeung' in an operation resulted in 'Nam' being seriously injured and becoming disabled. After 'Nam' recovered from his injury, he was transferred to a civilian post. 'Po' transferred to the Emergency Unit (EU) after breaking up with 'Yeung', while 'Yeung' left the police force. 'Keung' could not forgive 'Yeung'; there has been a rift in their brotherhood since then, and the four are no longer friends.

There have been many unresolved cases in Hong Kong. The perpetrator is suspected to be agitated by something, which has led to a mental disorder. While on duty, 'Po' discovered that someone looked abnormal and stopped a murder case before it was too late. The toxicology report showed that the same drug composition was found in the body of the perpetrator in this case and the criminal who caused 'Nam''s injury three years ago; 'Po' firmly believes that the two cases are related. 'Keung' brings a team to protect a former VIP. During this, [he] discovers that the VIP's behaviour is strange. Sure enough, the VIP is a terrorist. The purpose of this trip was to carry out a drug trade.

'Yeung' is currently a senior manager of a private club but is actually performing stealth missions for the Phantom Operation and Tactic Team (POTT), investigating the connection between the triads and terrorists. After solving the case, 'Yeung' returns to the team and becomes the leader of the POTT. 'Yeung' accepts 'Po''s application to join the POTT, at the same time wanting to transfer 'Nam', who has been placed in an unimportant position, to the POTT.

Can the four of them finally restore their past relationship, and can they solve every case?
