Bobby Au Yeung Has Confidence in Ratings

Raymond Lam, Tavia Yeung, Bobby Au Yeung, etc. went to Kowloon Bay to attend a promotional event for the new series "Men with No Shadows". Recently, Raymond has been repeatedly promoting the new series. He expressed that the initial broadcast of the new series is very important, being able to attract viewers to continue watching the storyline; the series' online click rate results are also not bad. "Men" premiered on Monday. Since it was Mid-Autumn Festival that night, Raymond expressed having watched the new series when he and his friends had a reunion dinner. The new series is rumoured to have plagiarized the western film "Meet Joe Black". Raymond emphasized that the new series did not plagiarize, and that the story would be unexpected. He said, "Did anyone watch the new series? No, right? Will know when everyone watches it. Considered an expected storyline. Actually, this time is quite the risk because it is not selling the storyline, but only introducing the characters. Have to rely on the viewers' curiosity to continue watching". Does he want to become TV king with this series? He said, "The most important is that there are people watching it. The best would be that, when I go out, everyone would call me 'demon', which would prove that everyone has taken note of it. Awards are not important to me. The most straightforward is that viewers like it".

Bobby, who has gained some weight, expressed that it was due to eating many mooncakes on Mid-Autumn Festival. Regarding the broadcast of the new series encountering the Mid-Autumn Festival, Bobby, who is always a ratings guarantee, was not only not worried, he even praised himself by saying that his ratings would always win every time. He laughingly said, "The company's arrangement is not bad. Know my ability. Frequently giving difficult missions for me to do. Also experienced the World Cup before. The company likes to look for me to go fight the battle. Would win every time".

Tavia had to return to the set to work on Mid-Autumn Festival but was not lonely, as she, Mandy Wong, etc. prayed to the old man under the moon together. She said, "We brought a lot of fruits, and burned incense for the old man under the moon together, praying for popularity and marriage fate. However, it was my first time praying. Don't know if it is efficacious". Regarding whether she prayed to be able to become TV queen, Tavia laughingly said that this was not related to the old man under the moon. She only asked for work to be smooth...would be happy whether she receives an award or not.

Personal Note: Bobby's response toward watching the second episode with the audience was funny.... "Oh! Really is enjoyable to watch!" "Oh! Bobby, you really are handsome!" :D

Bobby Au Yeung: This Year's 'TV King' Should Be Me

TVB artistes Bobby Au Yeung, Tavia Yeung, Raymond Lam, etc. were promoting the new series "Men with No Shadows". The series is broadcasting after "Lives of Omission", which is the highest rated series of this year thus far, but they frankly said that they do not feel pressured. Bobby said, "Their hype is so incredible; thus, Raymond, did not even film his movie and rushed back to promote! I have confidence in this series!" He laughingly said that he has great expectations for this series, and is eyeing the 'TV King' award. He said, "This year's 'TV King' should be me. Only short of Mr. [Stephen] Chan's vote! However, have accepted it after all these years! Raymond and I have discussed it...have to place it at my house regardless of whomever gets the award!"

Currently, Bosco Wong and Michael Tse have the most noise for the 'TV King' award. When asked whether he was confident in fighting for the award, Raymond said, "I don't have to win! Everyone in contention together is okay! Hope to enter the top five together!" Regarding 'TV Queen', Fala Chen is the hottest. The other hot candidate Tavia said, "Fala is good! I definitely have confidence, but I am not placing too much emphasis on it. Certainly, I will work hard to fight for it!"

Bobby Au Yeung Hopes to Invent Medicine to Cure Dementia

Bobby Au Yeung: "I would also like to invent a medicine to cure dementia because many people on our set have it (dementia). There are many people who forget their dialogue and start to slur. Just like Raymond Lam, me, and even John Chiang. He was like, 'I'm starting to have it, too'. Whenever we start to forget our dialogue, we will use dementia as an excuse".

Tavia Yeung Denies Being Mesmerized by Bobby Au Yeung: Refers to Bobby as 'Laugh Bomb' on Set

Host: "He said that his electricity can electrify you".

Tavia Yeung: "You mean electrify a mouse".

Host: "No, electrify you".

Tavia Yeung: "If he can electrify me, then I would not be standing here. The truth is, he likes to make me laugh to death. He doesn't need to purposely make us laugh, as he already looks funny, and his gestures are very funny".

Sire Ma Admires Bobby's Acting: Feels Nervous when Filming with Him

Host: "Although Tavia does not agree with Bobby, there is a person who really admires him. That person is Sire Ma, who plays Bobby's sister in the series".

Sire Ma: "I really like Bobby, and I really like watching him act. I was very nervous when I knew that my first outdoor scene was going to be working with Bobby and Tavia, as I had just flown back from Japan the previous night. I was so nervous that I wasn't able to sleep because I've worked in TVB for over a year, and I hadn't met Bobby in person. Thus, I was very nervous".

Host: "Did you tell Bobby that you like him?"

Sire Ma: "Yes, that is why after I told him, he takes care of me more".

Bobby Au Yeung Saves Raymond Lam Using Resuscitation

Yesterday, Raymond Lam and Bobby Au Yeung were filming outside scenes for "An Uninvited Date". The scene was about Bobby having mistaken Raymond for a demon, thereby setting him on fire. Later, Tavia Yeung arrived at the scene, explaining that it was all an misunderstanding. Bobby then rushed in to save Raymond.

When filming the fire scene, the smoke caused Raymond's nose to continuously run. Bobby was worried that he wouldn't be strong enough to carry Raymond. Beforehand, Bobby asked Raymond about his body weight. Raymond said, "My body weight is around 160 pounds!" Bobby suspects that Raymond said less than what he actually weighs.

Raymond Lam Requests to Exchange Roles

In the scene, Bobby had to save Raymond using resuscitation. The two only used camera angles to finish the scene. Their faces were very close to each other, so they couldn't help but laugh, as Bobby was blowing air into Raymond's mouth. When they were finished, Raymond quickly wiped himself with some tissue. (Did Bobby spit all over your face?) Raymond said, "No, because blowing air is unavoidable, and I was already very accommodating". While they were rehearsing, Raymond did not lose out, as he requested for Bobby to be the one receiving the resuscitation. Asking him why he did not use a double to film this fire scene, Raymond said, "When filming series, I rarely request to use a double. The only time I asked for one was when I filmed an ancient series, where it required the character to be suspended on wires while riding on a horse. I was afraid I would not be able to do it; therefore, I requested for a double to film it".

Personal Note: Ha ha.... Bobby is so funny! :D A little more about the series has been revealed, even though the filming should almost be finished. ;)
