Nancy Wu has already been set to shoot TVB's grand co-production "Big White Duel II", and will be collaborating with many TV kings and TV queens, including Kenneth Ma, Roger Kwok, Natalie Tong, Moses Chan, et al. Nancy, who is playing a doctor, has never done similar roles. She frankly said that she is looking forward to it in an interview: "I don't play professional roles much, so it feels very fresh. I am also greatly looking forward to it! This year, everyone experienced a lot of things...medical knowledge has increased a lot. The script is still being written now. Later, there will be more information. I will watch more medical-themed movies and do my homework first". She also revealed that she has actually always had a contract with TVB, but there were many reports before, which made it seem that her contract had ended.
Allegedly, she, her ex, Kenneth, and Natalie have a triangular relationship in the series. She laughingly said, "Believe that the producer would arrange it well, and would not break up the combination of him and Natalie! (Kenneth now has 'Pretty Soup'!) Happy for him. Greatly looking forward to collaborating again!" Producer Marco Law expressed that Nancy will not be arranged to be the third party. The character is a very cool doctor with attitude. The last time that Kenneth and Nancy collaborated was "Deep in the Realm of Conscience" from the year before. Kenneth frankly said that he looks forward to collaborating again: "We have known each other for so many years. Are also good friends. Hope that the script is written well! The script is written well, and everyone is able to execute".
Moses will be joining "Big II", playing a doctor. Now, he is busy filming "Armed Reaction 2020". Allegedly, he will later film the Shaw Brothers series "Flying Tiger 3". Moses said in an interview: "I don't know what the 'Big II' character is like yet because the script is still being written, but [I] have collaborated with all of the actors in this series before. Everyone is very professional, so greatly looking forward to it! I don't collaborate with Roger much...also want to collaborate a bit".
As for whether Ashley Chu has a part in filming the sequel, the series' producer frankly said, "Ashley's character in the previous installment was already written to the limit. Even if she were to participate again, it may only be a guest star form". Asking Ashley whether she looked forward to filming series, she only said, "Not responding for the time being! Thanks for your concern".
Personal Note: Wow...probably the biggest lineup in recent years! With Nancy's addition, it seems that Ali has definitely been kicked out of the sequel....
Remember that Moses and Ruco were supposed to be the male leads for the first installment, but both ended up not filming it. Now, Moses is joining the sequel!
