"Kids' Lives Matter", which stars Kevin Cheng, Kenneth Ma, Linda Chung, Catherine Chau, Him Law, et al., has become one of TVB's anniversary series this year, and has been arranged to officially premiere on TVB Jade on October 18th at 9:30pm. TVB aired a promotional clip with an animation style last night, using two interstellar messengers embodied as operating room doctors to set off the story. Kevin and Kenneth, who were wearing doctor's coats, came in through the doors and said to the kid, "Superman also needs your help to complete the mission, which is to defeat sickness and create miracles!

Although Kevin and Kenneth both looked cool and convincing when they appeared, because Kevin was wearing a 'colourful bear cap', he was particularly immersed when cajoling the kid. Kenneth asked Kevin, "Saying that we're more incredible than Superman...wouldn't it be a slight exaggeration?" At this time, Kevin, who is a father, immediately replied, "Kids need to be coaxed. You will understand when you become a father".

During the filming of the promotional clip, Kenneth and Kevin were even interviewed by TVB Entertainment News. Kenneth laughingly pointed out that filming operating room scenes is not easy. He said, "Operating room scenes really use a lot of time to shoot. The time was longer than shooting fight scenes because every step had to be shot very meticulously, and there was also a doctor watching the scene. Every gesture and step could not have a mistake". The two also highly praised the child actor who shot the promotional clip for being well-behaved. Speaking of the two collaborating again 11 years after "A Fistful of Stances", Kenneth smiled and said that he was very happy: "Filming with a friend whom you have known for a long time, the chemistry would come back very quickly". Kevin added, "He has said for a long time about whether our group of actors had the fate to film another one. (Then film what?) Film a comedy...happier and not as laborious".

TVBE Clip

The Shaw Brothers web series "ICAC Attack" filmed for nearly four months. The wrap-up scene was filmed in Yau Tong the other day. The actors there that night included Bosco Wong, Ron Ng, Vincent Wong, Ruco Chan, Ben Wong, and Sisley Choi. They completed the last scene and celebrated with champagne with Shaw Brothers executive Virginia Lok and directors Wong Kwok Keung and Twang Man San. Everyone is even looking forward to filming a sequel.

Bosco and Ron have already worked closely together early on, and this series has even elevated the two's relationship again. It could be seen on site that the two chat non-stop once they see one another. Asked whether the two would hate to part with each other, Ron laughingly said, "Have to separate a bit no matter what. Afterward, we are both busy with our own things. Believe that we will meet again soon".

Bosco said, "Actually, we meet up all the time. We didn't collaborate much when we were in TVB, but we collaborated more after venturing out. Meet almost every year".

Bosco Wong Praises Sisley Choi as Being Quick-Witted

When filming this series this time, Bosco said that his friendship with Sisley grew rapidly, and even praised her as being quick-witted: "Sometimes when we are going over the script, would suddenly have new ideas, and she could immediately adapt".

Regarding Bosco's praise, Sisley also happily said, "I was a bit nervous filming with Bosco for the first time. Facing him, would really be shy. However, after a few months of working together, our chemistry got better and better; there were a lot a sparks, so have to thank Bosco. Hope to work with him again soon".

Looking Forward to Filming a Sequel

In the series, it talks about Bosco, Ron, Vincent, Nancy Wu, and Mandy Wong having grown up together. Because of this, Vincent expressed, "Finally wrapped. Very happy to be able to work with the two male seniors (Bosco and Ron). Plus, also have Nancy and Mandy".

He continued, "Because we have known each other for a long time, already had a lot of chemistry and sparks when filming. The chemistry among the five of us will be one of the selling points of this series. Look forward to the series being broadcast soon. The five can collaborate again. Hope to have sequels until the tenth season".

Ben Wong Wants to Shave as Soon as Possible

Ben, who plays a major antagonist in this series, has many emotional 'father and son' scenes with Ron. He laughingly said that he will be missing Ron from now on, and hopes to be able to close the gap between them the next time they collaborate and act out a brotherhood.

Ben expressed that he was very happy to be able to work with this team and meet his old friend, Candy Lo. Asked what he wanted to do most after finishing, he said that he wants to shave right away; it was very tough to keep this look for four months.

Ruco Chan Reveals Truth About Being 'Greatly Punished' by TVB

CREDIT IF REPOSTED

stheadline Clip

The other day, Kandy [Wong] and Ruco [Chan] were doing location filming for "Falling in Love with You When You Were a Kid" in Pak Tam Chung. The plot was about Kandy, who has always had a crush on Owen Cheung, frustratedly biking on a slop, inadvertently crashing, falling onto the ground, and getting injured. Luckily, she gets the help of Ruco, who is also lovelorn, and they comfort one another. Kandy filmed such that she was really lying on the ground. As for Ruco, who is 180cm tall, in order to accommodate Kandy, who is 149cm, when acting, he did not want her to look up awkwardly, so he did his best to accommodate her by squatting even though he was sweating. This action won him praise for being a warm guy. Ruco laughingly said, "Well, I also have some body temperature!" Kandy's first collaboration with Ruco is very fresh, and even disclosed Sebastian [Poon]'s secret: "Sebastian's wife is a member of Ruco's fan club. I had already heard Ruco's name from them early on. This time, able to show off in front of Sebastian!"

Repeatedly Collaborating with New Partners

Following the first collaboration with Crystal Fung in "Sinister Beings", Ruco's partners, such as Samantha Ko, Owen Cheung, Roxanne Tong, et al., are those he rarely works with; there are even some whom he has never worked with before. Asked whether it was because his starring series, "Sinister", was popular, so many new series have to look for him to 'assist' in snatching ratings, Ruco laughingly revealed the truth about the rumoured 'big punishment': "Many friends were concerned and asked me, 'Why is there such a big shift in [your] work recently?' Actually, it was a negotiation with the company. They want me to film more different types of series and work with more newcomers so that viewers will not be as bored". Kandy, who was next to him, agreed, "Ruco has always had a lot of audience fate...can create a boosting effect".

Has an Extremely Good Relationship with TVB

Ruco frankly said that having to face roles that are constantly changing is a great challenge: "Also happy to work with so many people. Ha! It feels like filming a New Year's series. There are different guests cameoing to bring out freshness. If [you] like it, can look for me be a server, too. 'Hello. One beef chow fun!" Asked whether he would be worried about being demoted to being a cameo star, Ruco repeated twice, "Would not! Would not! I am so old school. Because viewers have watched me grow up, the most important thing is that the performance is sincere". Kandy pointed out that his presence is too strong...viewers will not look at it like that. Speaking of his relationship with TVB, Ruco immediately said, "Extremely good! The contract renewal terms were extremely good. TVB is supporting my household. I am only a worker. In these circumstances, if the company is good, then I'm good!"

TVB Anniversary Series "Kids' Lives Matter" and "Take Two" Premiering on October 18th

CREDIT IF REPOSTED

ontv Clip

TVB's two major anniversary series will both be premiering on October 18th. "Kids' Lives Matter" stars 'Dual TV Kings' Kenneth Ma and Kevin Cheng, as well as Linda Chung, who has not filmed series in a long time, while "Take Two" has Shaun Tam leading with Gloria Tang, who is playing the first female lead for the first time.

Kenneth, who is busy filming the new series "Stealth Team", revealed in an interview that "Kids'" is currently arranging the shooting of promotional clips. Asked whether he is confident in winning 'TV King' again after "TV Awards Presentation 2019", as usual, he laughingly said, "Leaving these to fate! But everyone is also greatly looking forward to the broadcast of this series. Hope that viewers like it". It is said that he will be filming the new Lau Ka Ho-produced series "Legal Spokespeople" with Lin Xia Wei. He expressed that he has not officially received a notice yet: "'Stealth' is filming until December, so also waiting for a notification. Also filming quite laboriously now because there are a lot of shooting and fighting scenes. Also very fun. Have not shot real guns in a long time, but filming this series is really very tiring. I rarely played cops in the past. Hope that it is shot such that it comes out cooler...let me be cool for once!"

"Take" is Shaun's first anniversary series as the lead. When he was interviewed, he frankly said that he is very happy: "Filming this series was also quite tough because the pandemic was just the most severe at the time. The script greatly captivated me because I have not done time travel series before, and during filming, knew that I had to lose weight for 'The Ringmaster'. While filming, I ran and hit the gym...did not get much sleep! (Scared that viewers do not understand it?) The series has a lot of different timelines, so a lot of narrations were done. Hope that viewers understand the development of the entire story. There are also warm and funny parts. What's the hardest to come by is that I will also be singing the interlude. I have waited for 15 years and have finally waited for my first song!" Asked whether he was confident in competing for the 'TV King' throne, he said "Leaving it to fate. Hope that viewers see our hard work because it was really very tough. There were also a lot of fighting scenes".
