Claire Yiu Busy with Business: No Intention to Have Another Child

Claire Yiu's husband, Thomas Lam, recently became the boss of a children's clothing shop. Claire, who has became the boss lady, brought her daughter, Kyra Lam Hui Kei (林煦錡), and her son, Kyros Lam King Ho (林璟豪), to choose outfits. When asked whether Claire would chase after another [child], she said, "Wow! Now, really would not yet. Just opened shop...had twins, plus these two...really cannot handle it!" Thomas also said that they are temporarily not having another [child] because currently busy doing business. Hope to have another branch next year. Thomas also revealed that the doll that is given to customers was designed by TVB executive Virginia Lok's son. He said, "Miss Lok doesn't even know this matter because her son gave a drawing to me. We used it to make a doll".

Claire Yiu Gives Birth to Six-Plus Pounds Baby Boy Named 'Kyros'

Former Miss Asia Claire Yiu gave birth to a six-plus pounds baby boy a day later (August 3) than the scheduled due date. [The baby's] English name is Kyros...has not been given a Chinese name yet. Thomas Lam, becoming a father again, could not hide his happiness. He said, "The baby drank an ounce of milk. After eating, already had some excrement. Because it is the second pregnancy, wife's birth process was faster and smoother than the first pregnancy".

Personal Note: Congratulations to Claire and Thomas! Can't tell whom Kyros resembles yet. :)

Claire Yiu Gives Birth to 6.5 lb. Baby Girl

The 30-year-old Claire Yiu gave birth to a healthy 6.5 lb. baby girl, Kyra, on Sunday, April 19th, 2009. She was accompanied by husband Thomas Lam during the birthing process, and he also cut the umbilical cord. When asked whom Kyra resembles, Thomas laughed, "She has a mixture of both of our good traits. She is pretty, has big eyes, great skin, and she cries very loudly. She has giant lungs!" Claire predicts that Kyra will be spoiled, as her baby clothes and diapers already have sponsors. Kyra is certainly loved all around!

Claire also explains that Kyra is being 'fought over' by her friends. Tavia Yeung is Kyra's godmother, Christine Ng is the older auntie, and Sharon Chan is the younger auntie. Chatchai Plengpanich also expressed that he would like to be Kyra's godfather.

FYI: Chatchai Plengpanich played Sam in "Split Second".

Personal Note: Congratulations to Claire and Thomas! For some reason, I was guessing that they were going to have a boy! Ha ha....

Congratulations to Claire Yiu & Thomas Lam

After exchanging their vows, Thomas and Claire kissed for over 30 seconds.

Claire and Thomas finally ended their 7-year long run relationship as a dating couple and got married on Saturday, November 11th, 2006. Claire entered the entertainment industry by participating in Miss Asia Pageant 1998, and was crowned 2nd runner-up. Coincidentally, Thomas was one of the hosts for the event. They became acquainted while filming together in ATV's 1999 production "Ten Tigers of Guangdong". That was actually Claire's first television series.

Among the brothers and sisters were Christine Ng, Tavia Yeung, Rabee'a Yeung, Kate Tsui, Sharon Chan, Natalie Wong, Kasey Lin Hoi Tong, and Cheng Kai Tai. When Rabee'a caught the wedding bouquet, Tavia happily ran over to her and gave her a kiss.
