- The series is a lighthearted comedy.
- The series talks about the adventures of Brian Tse and Danny Hung; there are also elements of brotherhood.
- The series starts with the immortal 'Lui Tung Ban'. He originally wanted to descend into the mortal world to enlighten a fraud who has been deceiving the world to amass fame, but he unexpectedly loses his magic powers and is stranded in the mortal world. The fraud even uses 'Lui Tung Ban' to swagger about swindling people, causing the two to have an inseparable relationship. The deity and the fraud encounter different characters and adventures in the small town, from which the deity and the mortal gain an understanding of different life principles: learn to let go of stubbornness, live at ease, and live happily like a deity.
- Danny will play Chan Muk Kwan (陳木昆), a mortal who uses the name of a deity to make a fortune.
- Brian will play Lui Tung Ban (呂洞賓), a deity who has descended into the mortal world. The relationship between him and Danny is inextricably linked; he has to reform the fraud, Danny, even though he has lost his magic powers.
- Erica Chan will play Pak Suet Fa (白雪花), an 18-year-old prostitute in a brothel. She got sold by someone to a brothel. In the middle, a lot of interesting things happen with Danny and Brian, but the both of them also like her; there will be a triangular relationship. Danny goes from pitying her to loving her, but she is attracted to Brian. At the same time, the new mayor, Stephen Wong, also has an ambiguous relationship with her. She has many complicated relationships with many males; she does not know how many people she will have kiss scenes with.
- Stephen Wong will play San Ching Yi (辛正義), the new mayor who hopes to rectify the town full of prostitution, gambling, and drugs. His character goes from being upright to evil. He is a major villain. He, Eva Lai, and Lee Sing Cheung are a family.
- Carisa Yan will play 「歸二娘」, the madam of a brothel.
- Eva Lai will play Stephen's mother.
