TV king Kenneth Ma, Ruco Chan, Jinny Ng, James Ng, and other TVB employees attended the second night of the annual staff poon choi banquet held at TVB City tonight. Jinny and James even arrived early and prepared their own promotional leaflets and wore sashes to canvass for votes for the nominations that they were shortlisted for in "TV Awards Presentation 2023". Kelly Fu also prepared her own roll-up banner, diligently canvassing for votes for herself.
At the poon choi banquet, James was arranged to sing live, and Karl Ting, Archie Sin, and a few of the "Asia Super Young" students also sang and dance on the second night. As for Jinny, James, Kenneth, Ruco, Kelly Gu, et al., who are shortlisted for the anniversary awards, they were also arranged to go on stage to canvass for votes. Kenneth, Moon Lau, and Karl Ting even got people on site lining up to take pictures with them...were extremely popular.
When interviewed, Kenneth, who had just gotten married, said that he is very happy and shared that he and his wife, Roxanne Tong, ate crazily during Christmas, but the two exercise regularly; thus, even if they indulge occasionally, they would not gain weight easily. Asked if the couple has any plans to make a baby, Kenneth said, "We greatly welcome it. If the heavens give us this gift, we would be very happy to accept it. However, he also said that he would help canvass for votes for the series that he has a part in, saying that, whether it is "The Invisibles", "Speakers of Law", "The QUEEN of News", or "Narcotics Heroes", in which there is only one scene of screentime, he also hopes that the series that he participated in would all be able to have good results: "I have no selfish motives. Perhaps it's because I play soccer. As long as I am involved in the series, would also want it to have good results. As for how the awards are distributed, leaving it to the viewers". Actually, Kenneth can be said to be raking in money recently, making money by constantly going around to do commercial performances and stage performances.
