"TV Awards Presentation 2023" was grandly held at the Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau [today]. Kenneth Ma won 'Favourite TVB Actor in a Leading Role (Malaysia)' for "The QUEEN of News" and 'Best Dressed Male Artiste'. He expressed on stage, "Of course, I have to thank my wife because, [if] she is happy, then it will bring good luck to the husband!" The entire audience cheered. He also pointed out that there is no 'My Favourite TV Male Character' this year and said that he is a four-time winner; no one can break his record.
When Roxanne Tong went on stage to present 'Best Actor', she passed by Kenneth; Kenneth did not forget to touch Roxanne's hand to cheer her on. In a backstage interview, he said that he took part in the three highest-rated series and felt fortunate. Also very happy even if there is no award. The happiest thing was seeing Jazz Lam win an award, and even said that, when Jazz was giving his speech on stage, he was also teary-eyed: "Was happier about him winning an award than me winning!"
Leaving Being a Father to Fate
Kenneth also hopes to be able to meet with the "A Fistful of Stances" family to exchange New Year's greetings in the New Year, but frankly said that it is extremely difficult to meet. When asked how he would be celebrating with his wife, he expressed that they would simply be having a meal...already very satisfied to have a meal together. When asked when he would become a father, Kenneth expressed that everything is being left to fate, and said that, even if they have a child and work hard now, it still has to be the end of the year, frankly saying that the two do not mind having children and will not insist on it.
