One of the big draws of TVB's anniversary gala was a $420,000 deposit. The ones in the draw included Moses Chan, Juliana Kwok, Heidi Chu, and Kitty Lai. Later, Moses gave the chance to Kenneth Ma, who is about to marry Roxanne Tong; however, in the end, Juliana became the lucky one.
Afterward, Moses and Kenneth were interviewed together. Regarding not winning the prize, Kenneth expressed, "The prize money was not mine to begin with; Moses was the one who was drawn. (Could not help with the wedding?) It has nothing to do with it. The luck was not mine. I really believe these things. If the luck is not yours, it would not be given to you; thus, Juliana deserves to win. In fact, the four of them were drawn; that is, whoever wins out of the four of them also deserves it". Asking Moses if he felt that it was a pity, he said, "Also would not. Already knew that it was not mine the moment I put the ball in the box. Plus, it was snatched from the hands of Aimee [Chan]'s good friend, Heidi, so it is not a big deal". Kenneth, who was next to him, immediately laughingly said, "The main point is that the one with the highest salary in TVB does not care about these".
Moses immediately clarified, "Don't talk so carelessly! When I am giving something from my heart, it doesn't matter whom it is being given to. Originally, they said to give it to Aimee, but she didn't attend. Well, Kenneth is just getting married, so it's also good to give him a big gift". Kenneth immediately had a grateful look: "It has already been given. Even if not giving, it has been given; it's about the thought. I don't have any luck with draws...didn't even win glue when [I] was in school". Asking Kenneth whether Moses would be invited to attend his wedding, he said, "Even have to treat him to a meal. This friendship is more valuable than anything else. Can't believe he called out my name. Just calling it out was already a great gift".
