- The series title "OPM" is the abbreviation for 'Other People's Money', talking about how a group of victims of a money scam learn financial techniques to become the 'OPM' group to earn back their money. The finance-themed series is using a relaxed approach to let viewers understand the unfamiliar scope of financial techniques that are closely related to life. The characters will also follow the development of the plot, going the limit for money, transforming from a victim into a werewolf in the financial world, and engraving the change and impact that money has on human nature and values. In order to make fast money, the characters in the series are led to going to the wrong values, going astray, and burying their conscience to make money.
- The members of 'OPM' (Team B) include Roxanne Tong, Telford Wong, Benjamin Au Yeung, Bowie Cheung, and Lucas Yiu. The five of them go from being deceived to learning financial techniques, vowing to earn their money back. Ram Chiang is their mentor and the person in charge behind the scenes.
- The members of 'Smart Cap' (Team A) include Tyson Chak, Kelly Fu, and Hugo Wong. Ram is 'Thinking Sir', the boss behind the scenes. This group relies on their brains to 'capture money', extorting other people's money.
- The story talks about Telford, Roxanne, et al. joining an online group for various reasons. They want to make fast money but end up getting scammed out of money. They denouce Benjamin, who opened the group, later finding out that this incident was not a single incident, and that there is a higher level evil manipulator behind the scenes. Thus, they form 'OPM' to carry out a revenge plan, vowing to find the real culprit. In order to warn people to refrain from doing evil and punish the wicked, the group of people do things that range from taking down financial scammers to 'fighting big bosses' and going against financial crooks. Everyone falls into the abyss of money, from being deceived to deceiving and from being in debt to making ten billion. When they discover that money can be made in this way, how do their values change? Will they have a guilty conscience about extorting other people's money? Everyone has the mentality that '[you] have to make money fast, and also get out fast', and does not want to be the last one holding the lighted torch, but can it truthfully be satisfactory?
- Roxanne will play Katty, a young housewife who will later scam people out of their money using the financial techniques of ordinary Hong Kong people. She will get a breast augmentation. She and Stephen Wong are a married couple with a five-year-old son; he does not really treat her well, so they later divorce. Stephen not only has a mistress, but he also treats her like a sexual object and slaps her. She and Stephen have some rather intense naughty scenes. She later seduces Hugo Wong; she takes the initiative for everything.
- Telford will play Cho Ka Sing, a research student in university with poor financial management. He has experienced many failures. Originally having zero money-making experience, it is only until there is an urgent need of a sum of money that he is forced to come into contact with finance, turning into a financial 'madman'. In order to earn his tuition fee, he joins a financial techniques group. Later, he falls into a world of money and becomes utterly helpless. He goes from being deceived by others to deceiving others. His look goes from being a slovenly student who wears glasses to wearing suits, becoming like Leonardo DiCaprio in "The Wolf of Wall Street". He has a romantic storyline with Chloe So. He has an ambiguous plotline with Lucas. He sees how Stephen treats Roxanne, so he initially sympathizes with her and specially helps and supports her. He treats Roxanne as more than friends. He is also called 「哈利」.
- Ram will play Simon, a retiree. He planned to use his life savings to enjoy retirement, but there are a lot of scammers in the stock market, so he constantly gets scammed; thus, he shares the knowledge he has gained to young people. He is also called 'Thinking Sir'.
- Benjamin will play 「古大師」, an accountant. In 'OPM', he is mainly responsible for deceiving people into joining the group. He cannot even pay alimony to his ex-wife.
- Bowie will play Season Sze San (施晨), a financial reporter who searches and exposes some truths. She has a fiery temper and a sharp tongue. In order to get close to Benjamin, she helps him create fans groups, which causes him to misunderstand and be pleased with himself. She and Benjamin have a physical ambiguous relationship that does not have much dialogue; he makes eyes at him, slightly seducing him.
- Lucas will play Hook, a fitness instructor who is well-liked by males and females. He frequently flirts with people. He and Telford often battle in showing off their muscles.
- Miguel Choi will play a dignitary.
- Stephen will play Fung Chi Kin (馮智堅), Roxanne's husband, but he does not really treat her well.
- Chloe will guest-star as Tsui Ying (徐瀅), a research student. She is Telford's junior. She speaks methodically and is clever. She mainly has scenes with Telford in a lab. She has no romantic storyline.
- Bella Lam will play Telford's younger sister.
- Mary Hon will play Telford's mother.
- Kelly will play Irene, a former news anchor. She ís an instructor in 'Smart Cap'. She works in public relations and is also Roxanne's rival, so they compete in being beautiful.
- Tyson will play Law Ja, a monster instructor in 'Smart Cap' who teaches recruits how to make big money, but 'Smart Cap' is actually secretly capturing their money. He and Ram will fight over Kelly.
- Hugo will play an instructor in 'Smart Cap'.
- Eddie Pang will play 「滔爺」.
- Lee Kai Kit will play a dignitary.
- Henry Lo will play a dignitary.
- Joan Lee will play Chong Man Kei (莊文琪).
