- In today's society, there are many people who choose to be spectators. Even if they encounter unfair incidents and people who need help, they would just sit on the sidelines and not help, making the incident worse. Pakho Chau's character refuses to be a spectator; he chooses to sanction bad people and seek justice in his own way. However, this killer develops a relationship with policewoman Venus Wong; the two have opposing positions, but they involuntarily fall in love with each other. The series talks about a poignant love story between the two that was destined to be a tragedy early on.
- Pakho Chau will play Wong Mik Hei (王覓希), a coffee shop owner with a hidden secret. He is a serial killer with dissociative identity disorder. He is a warm guy, but his part-time job is eliminating harm to society. There are killing and dismembering scenes. He is the manager of the café 'Rabbit Cave' (「兔子洞」). He is a good person, but there is a dark side to his personality: he will kill in order to help others. Actually, it cannot be said that he is a killer because he does not do it for money. In his childhood, he was forced by his parents to do a lot of unpleasant things, so when be grew up, he would warn people to refrain from doing evil and punish the wicked. On the other hand, a lot of people like him because he treats people well and always brings happiness to people. He is not willing to be a spectator; instead, he uses his own methods to take care of people who could not be sanctioned by the law. His childhood experience causes him to think of himself as a judge. On the surface, he is a coffee shop owner who likes to help disadvantaged groups; however, while helping others, he discovers the appearance of many unfair things, so he acts as a judge to sanction bad people. He uses chemicals and injections, and he would go up the mountain to grab medicines and mix them so that it becomes poisonous. He would hit people, but they are not dead yet and have lost the ability to move; unable to resist, he takes them to a place and slowly tortures them. He would also chat with the victim, even reasoning with him or her before he or she dies. He also has a special herbal medicine to purify the space every time he does it.
- Venus Wong will play Yiu Chi Yu (姚自如), a hypersensitive police officer who frequently notices voices and emotions that others cannot, and she also feels the feelings and fragmentary experiences of the deceased. She uses this gift to solve murder cases, and the deeper the investigation, the more suppressed her inner emotions are. She senses and discovers things easily, which helps her in investigating cases but prevents her from living a normal life. She and Pakho have a romantic storyline. Her and Pakho's positions are in opposition, so it is destined to be a bitter love. She believes that many of the murders were done by a serial killer; however, she, who is hypersensitive, also discovers that there was an unfairness in the case, but there was no substantive evidence. She gradually falls in love with the killer who uses his own method of sanction; unfortunately, on a moral level, she also knows that the police must arrest this killer, causing the two to fall into a bitter love.
- Jinny Ng will play Lin Choi Man (練采文),a loner and the only big boss behind the scenes in the series. She is a villain. She and Pakho are killers; they grew up in an orphanage together, and she caused him to become a professional killer. In order to have fun, she does things that she thinks would make her happy. She does not smile, and when she does, there is a story or she is thinking, "This is really fun". Everyone is a toy to her. Mark Ma is the most kindhearted person she has met.
- Shiga Lin will play Cheung Pak Yin (張柏妍), a social worker, but in order to get money to help others, she gets close to rich people and is not hesitant about sacrificing her body. She is a gentle girl with a lot of knots in her heart and pent-up frustrations. She and Brian Tse already knew each in university. Brian was a handsome guy in school, while no one really noticed her. She wanted to blend into the circle of the popular people in school, so she was forced to do a lot things that she did not want to, helping others to bully others. Thus, when she works in society, she wants to become a social worker to help others in society, but the job cannot really control many domains, so she becomes even more unhappy, causing her to have problems with alcoholism and sleepwalking. She professes her love for Brian but gets rejected, causing her to always yearn for him. She has sleepwalking and psychological problems. When she sleepwalks, she always sees Brian in her dreams, thinking that they are dating; thus, they seem to be together, but they were never together. Brian causes her to get raped and commit suicide. There is a scene where she gets raped by Daniel Chau. A lot of things happen, and she will suffer from depression and alcoholism.
- Joey Law will play Yau Chun Kei (丘浚祈), a cop. He is rather upright. He and Venus Wong frequently investigate cases and fight battles together, complementing each other's inadequacies. When he was in university, he was often bullied in school. He suffers from obsessive-compulsive disorder, so everything must be in order. He and Venus Wong need each other at work and are good confidants. They also need each other in their lives; he would help her with whatever she needs in her life, such as housekeeping, as he would help her with household chores. They both really need one another; she is the only one who really understands him. When he was in university, he liked Shiga, but he left school because he was bullied. There was an accident in the middle, which caused the two to cut off contact with one another. Seeing him when they have grown up, it is as though he has already become another person. Encountering her again, he still worries about and cherishes her. At the end, he has a lot of rage.
- Mark will play a little conqueror of Sham Shui Po who bullies people; however, he is kindhearted, well-behaved, and pure. He does not have anything, but after his father dies, he leaves him with a building for him to collect rent. He does not really have any talents. He meets girls everywhere, thinking that every one of them is true love. He likes Jinny; there is a scene where he says to Pakho that he "likes her because she is so evil".
- Brian will play Shiga's crush in university. He was publicly recognized as being handsome in school. You can say that he is a bad person, but he is also not a bad person. He plays basketball.
- Daniel Chau will play Wesley.
- Irina Tang will play a bad woman from when she was a student to when she grows up. She will do all kinds of deviant conduct; she gets snatched by someone. She gets entangled between Brian and Daniel; they both belong to her. She will have an intense action scene.
- Stephen Wong will play Tam Wai Man (譚偉文).
- Oman Lam will play a mentally handicapped person.
- Paisley Hu has eight boyfriends.
- Amisha Ng will play Abby.
- Janice Ting will play Viane.
- Maverick Mak will play 「阿勛」.

- Linus Ma will play To (濤). He and Venus Tang are a couple.

- Eric Tang will play Jinny's crazy fan. He treats Jinny like a god; his house is full of her pictures, and he is always playing her videos.
