- The series talks about a fantasy love story between a 'mortal', Hubert Wu, and his exclusive 'bad spirit', Erica Chan. Hubert and Erica are people from two different worlds; she even brings bad luck to him every day.
- The series is about using another perspective to look at this world after a person leaves the world.
- The concept of the series is a new worldview. The setting is that, after people die, they no longer go to heaven or hell; rather, they go to a second dimension to complete post-mortem missions. As long as the life rewards are enough, one can go to the second dimension. The second dimension is the same as the mortal world (first dimension). It requires living, working, and doing good deeds to accumulate points. If the score is enough, one rises to the third dimension, and so on...up to the ninth dimension. The story is created based on this new worldview.
- Bad spirits have to do good deeds to upgrade, but why do they have to prank mortals? There is a big mystery behind it. Everything does not happen by accident, but the reason behind it cannot be revealed for the time being.
- The series constructs a new worldview, and it also discusses a theme: is it worse for people to die or to live in an existing world? This theme will be brought out by Hubert's character.
- Hubert will play Chan Bak Ho (陳北河), a takeout delivery person. He is a mortal who gets surrounded by a bad spirit. He is very miserable and unhappy all the time. His melancholic personality and a bad family environment make him feel that living is hell. On the contrary, people in the second dimension are happier, simpler, and more open-minded. When his bad spirit, Erica, sees how miserable he is, pity turns into love, and the bad spirit falls in love with the mortal. He and Erica have a restrained, accidental kiss.
- Erica will play Poon Siu Yu (潘小渝), a tragic person. She has a kind and cute aura. There is a rule for the second dimension bad spirits: they cannot let the mortals know that the second dimension exists. The love story of the male and female leads is dependent on her using a way to violate a prohibition of falling in love in the first dimension. There are scenes where Mark Ma teaches her how to prank Hubert.
- Mark will play a top-level bad spirit. He loves to build his happiness on the suffering of others the most. He flirts with every female.
- Mayanne Mak will play Bau Sau Yuk (包秀玉), who is already dead, talking about how one returns to the first dimension, which is the dimension that we are in now. She is a bad spirit who often has a displeased look. She is also called 「包包」.
- Helena Law will play Hubert's paternal grandmother. She often hits and yells at Hubert, but he never speaks up. She passes away from a fall.
- Lincoln Hui will play Dau Chit Yan (竇哲人), a painter. He is very stubborn about art, and he has mood swings. He has romantic storylines with Vivian Koo and Stephanie Au. He and Vivian are a couple; he really loves her, but it is an abnormal love, and he always hits her. He and Hubert have a hostile relationship.
- Vivian will play a foreign exchange student from Mainland. She is a victim of domestic violence.
- Darryl Chan will play Keung (強).
