Samantha is excited about leading a Lunar New movie for the first time: "Being the female lead in a movie for the first time, and it's a Lunar New Year movie, so it's even more worthy of being happy about it. I think that it's very prosperous. Going to watch our Lunar New Year movie would be even more prosperous". Kenneth felt the same way: "It's literally also my first time shooting a Hong Kong movie. Previously shot Mainland movies. Even my first time being the male lead...very happy. (Competing for the 'Newcomer' award?) I really don't know about this!" In the movie, Samantha plays a queen of mahjong who is very skilled at playing mahjong, but she does not even know how to count the score: "The past two years, have been going to my friends' place to exchange New Year's greetings...would find me to join in to make up the numbers. Learned some basic skills. Although I am not good, have some luck. Have won with a self-drawn 13 orphans before, but I just know to stack the tiles nicely. After winning, don't even know how to count the score".

Sleeping Wherever She Goes

Samantha, who has always wanted to pack her schedule, is very satisfied with her development in the Year of the Dragon. "Saw my assistant and manager the most. Also rarely saw my parents. Kept flying here and there, but greatly enjoyed it. After so many years in the industry, finally feel that it can so crazy! Very tiring but so fulfilling. Hope the luck in [my] career will continue". She made it clear that she does not go on vacation [if] there is money to be made. Even learned a special ability due to being busy, and is on par with Eric Tsang. "I have been trained with an ability, which is being able to sleep wherever [I] go and work as soon as [I] get up. (Like the General Manager?) Ha ha! Very happy to have this ability. Not everyone can do it. Thanks to the heavens for making me be able to do it". In the Year of the Snake, she wants to continue to work hard to make money, but leaving love to fate. "I believe in fate. Some things are beyond my control. Have been having luck in [my] career in the past two years. I will go with my destiny. If there is really luck in love given to me, I would not resist it, but would not force it".

Asks Charmaine Sheh for Advice

Samantha also pointed out that a metaphysician has said that snakes would bring her prosperity. "Snakes are my wealth. Luck for wealth would be quite good in the Year of the Snake...also looking forward to it". Kenneth suggested to her, "You should find a boyfriend born in the Year of the Snake...would also be quite good!" Samantha agreed, "The master said that, whether it is being born in the Year of the Snake or being named Ah Sheh, it would bring me prosperity; thus, [if] there is something, would message [Charmaine] Sheh to ask her whether [I] should do something or not, and she would also be willing to answer me". She also believes that, if there is a partner in the future, would definitely bring [him] to Kenneth to see because [she] believes that birds of a feather flock together. "People with the same values will hang out together. He is a good man. If [he] can communicate with that guy, then they are the same type of person". She also believes that [if] the parents of a fmaily are loving, the next generation would also treat their partner well. She and Kenneth are good examples. "His dad treats his mom very well, and he has been taught to treat women the same way; thus, have to find a guy with family that is also great. My dad and mom are also great, so I do not lack love. Happy to Be a Cat Slave Dad

Kenneth said that the Year of the Dragon was stable; Samantha could not help but tease him: "That was also considered stable. What is it like when it's prosperous?! Kenneth laughingly said that he only wants the Year of the Snake to get better and better, but when talking about being a Dad, [he] and his wife, Roxanne Tong, are leaving it to fate. Left the car on the street and did not care about getting ticketed. At that time, the cat had already peed in the car. I did not care and just carried him to the hospital. Was so out of control! Samantha has also seen his cat slave look. "He does not say anything when he is filming things, but would suddenly say that his wife sent some cat pictures that are very cute, and would show some clips for me to watch". Samantha reckons that, if Kenneth were to have a child, would not go out. Kenneth also agreed, "Should not be able to see me after getting off work. Have to make up for a shot?! I'm out of the tunnel...almost back home!"

Wife Accompanying Him on a Variety Show

Looking into the Year of the Snake, the both of them hope to shoot more variety shows, but Kenneth is not brave enough to do it alone. "A bit worried. Although [my] wife always encourages me, I am so scared of making the atmosphere become very boring. Have had a Mainland variety show look for me before, but I really don't know what to say. Also not good at Mandarin". Samantha suggested that he and his wife go on programmes that talk about marriage together. "[My] wife has also suggested that we go together. Then I would be bolder. My wife is quite humourous. If we went together, I would be bolder". Samantha wants to shoot travel variety shows. "A group of people going on a trip or living in a certain place. Can meet more friends. Filming series all the time really requires a life. Find Samantha Ko back in a natural environment, and slow down the pace, but also don't want to give up on making money! The best way is to make money while enjoying life through variety shows". Kenneth suggested that she shoot a dating show. "Ha ha! You make money while looking for a guy born in the Year of the Snake". Samantha was pleased to say, "Joe Chen was also like that. Can consider this one...ha ha!"
