- Ruco Chan will play Hui Chun Sam (許浚森), a detective of the Major Crimes Unit. He has a romantic storyline with Lin Xia Wei. He, Crystal Fung, and Lin Xia Wei are involved in a love triangle.
- Ben Wong will play 'Nic Sir', a Senior Inspector of Police in the Organized Crime and Triad Bureau (OCTB). He and Ruco will work together to solve cases.
- Lin Xia Wei will play Wing Ma Wing Si (馬穎思), a member of the Criminal Intelligence Bureau (CIB). She is Eva Lai's daughter.
- Crystal will play Ana Cheung Hei (張喜), a hacker. She is a Venezuelan orphan who lives in Hong Kong.
- Cheung Wing Hong will play the son of a wealthy family.
- Moon Lau will play Yau Nga (尤麗), Cheung Wing Hong's wife. There is more to her than meets the eye, and she has many painful experiences. In her recollections, Bob Cheung was an angel in her life who changed her a lot.
- Joman Chiang will play Chung Ka Yu (鍾嘉瑜), a barrister. She is a goddess in the legal world. She likes archery, so Ben pursues her through archery. She is not fluent in Chinese, so Ben teaches her Cantonese.
- Chin Siu Ho will star in a case as a Special Duties Unit (SDU) instructor. He trains Ruco in catching terrorists.
- Nina Paw will guest-star for one scene as an elderly person with slight dementia. Her granddaughter is thought to have murdered someone, so she is left alone. She is a pitiful character.
- Lee Sing Cheung will play Ngai Tung Hoi (魏東海).
- Gabriel Harrison will play a member of the CIB.
- Ku Ming Wah will play 「戚哥」, a member of the OCTB.
- Osanna Chiu will play Keung Yan Yan (姜欣欣), a member of the OCTB. She has a romantic storyline with Calvin Chan; they have an underground relationship, but it later gets found out, and then they break up. Later, she gets involved in a case. She is also called 「妹頭」.
- Lee Kai Kit will play a member of the OCTB.
- Wiyona Yeung will play a member of the OCTB. She has a crude personality and is rather straightforward and tomboyish.
- Terence Tung will play Chong Ka San (莊家新), a member of the OCTB. He is a single groupie. He is also called 「車神」.
- Andy Lin will play 「寡佬」, a member of the OCTB.
- Calvin will play a member of the OCTB.
- Alex Yung will play a member of the OCTB.
- Karl Ting will guest-star as a Thai Chinese in Spain who speaks Spanish. He is Erin Wong's fiancé.
- Vinci Wong will play 「杜狀」, a barrister.
- Ken Hung will guest-star as Pang Kwok Chung (彭國忠), a murderer, for two or three episodes.
- JW will guest-star in a case.
- Eva will play a fussy mother. She is Lin Xia Wei's mother. Poon Chi Man is her husband.
- Stephen Wong will play 「細華」, a store owner who also farms. He does some mighty things to protect his girlfriend. He and Rachel Lam are a couple who gets entangled in a rape and murder case.
- Rachel will play Liu Bik Chi (廖碧芝). She and Stephen are in the 'Vanished Bullet' (消失的子彈) story.
- Akina Hong will guest-star. She was raped in her early years, causing psychological trauma. She gets carried away by hatred, so she develops aggressive behaviour, including throwing toxins in the air and explosives.
- Jacquelin Ch'ng will play a pure social worker. She is in a case.
- Erin will guest-star as a Venezuelan orphan. She accompanies Crystal to Thailand while she is working on a case. She has a boyfriend in Thailand, which is Karl.
- Derek Wong will play Yeung Chun Hei (楊俊希), an arrogant rich second generation.
- Mandy Yuen will play a legal executive.
- Bond Chan will play Ngai Siu Yeung (魏兆揚). He is Lee Sing Cheung's son.
- William Chu a member of the OCTB.

- Matthew Ho will play Yu Yeung Kwong (余陽光), a useless youth. Due to a laboratory accident, be becomes a zombie who does not feel pain. He only transforms when he is hungry; he is usually a pretty guy. He has to eat brains when he is hungry. Ashley Chu is his elder sister, while Iris Lam is his younger sister. Arnold Kwok and Milkson Fong are his good friends. Kaman Kong and Hera Chan are his close female friends. He has romantic storylines with Kaman and Hera. He has a one-sided love for Hera. There may also be a guy who has a crush on him. He is also called 「喪B」.
- Kaman will play Mok Siu Chun (莫笑春), a person with lupus. Because of her illness, she cannot bask in the sun, covers her face, and has to carry an umbrella when she goes out. She is also the daughter of a gang leader. She is very domineering, always has a displeased look, and speaks without ending sounds.
- Ram Chiang will play Yu Cheung Kim (余祥劍), a huntsman who returned from Japan. He is a Japanese Chinese. He has a secretive identity, as he is also an engineer and a sailor. He is highly skilled in martial arts. He, Ashley, Matthew, and Iris are a family. He is the great uncle of the family. His family is in Hong Kong, and he has left them for a long time. Suddenly, he feels that his family may have some problems, so he needs to return to visit them. During this visit, there are many bizarre things that are encountered that have to be resolved by him. Because of his supernatural powers, he has to frequently resolve problems for his family.
- Ashley will play Yu San Hei (余晨曦), a lawyer. She is the big sister who appears mean, tough, and looks after her younger brother (Matthew) and sister (Iris), but there are times when she is silly. Suet Nei is her maternal grandmother, while Ram is her granduncle. She has a lot of boyfriends. She has romantic storylines with William Chak, Milkson, and Jackson Lai. William is her fiancé, but he is a bad guy, so she breaks up with him. She gets involved with Milkson; he has had a crush on her since they were young. She ends up with Jackson. She is also called 「大A姐」.
- Iris will play Cindy Yu Man Ha (余晚霞), a university student. She is interested in miraculous things, so she may study her elder brother, Matthew. She is the youngest daughter.
- Arnold will play Ku Tak Ming (古德明), a pathologist. He gives Matthew brains to eat. He has a romantic storyline, which may be a love square. He is also called 「古仔」.
- Milkson will play Warren (華倫), a funny junior Taoist priest whose family business is three generations of operations in the funeral industry. He is a funeral industry magnate. He is not interested in the funeral industry but only does it to rescue Matthew. His nickname is 「華倫癲奴」.
- Hera will play Leung Sin Tung (梁倩桐), a popular KOL. She, Matthew, Arnold, and Milkson are high school classmates. She and Kaman become good friends because Kaman protected her; they each have a romantic storyline with Matthew.
- William will play an actuary. He is a self-complacent, selfish, and self-centred man.
- Stephanie Che will play Man Chu (萬珠), the boss of a mahjong parlour. She is Kaman's mother.

Mimi Chu revealed that TVB is filming "Armed Reaction V" in February of next year, but it is not the original lineup. She said, "Reprising [the character] 'Yi Mui Jeh'".

Mimi revealed that "Armed V" no longer has 'Chan Siu Sang' Bobby Au Yeung. She said, "Heard that it also works for Joyce [Tang]. The other two daughters ('Sei Hei' and 'Ng Fuk') were said to have gotten married and gone abroad". Is there Marco Ngai? Mimi laughingly said in Mandarin, "How is that possible? If I have not guessed incorrectly, there should be Moses Chan".

Personal Note: What?! Another installment of "Armed Reaction" after so many years?! Although there is no Bobby, I would like to see 'Sam Yuen' again....

Are we supposed to forget that Moses already appeared as a villain in the third one? o_O'
