- Aimee will play Angel Chiang Cheuk Kwan (蔣卓君), an impulsive forensic member who came from the United States. She does not like the fact that the Hong Kong forensic team does not use guns. She and Edwin will play an arguing couple.
- Edwin will play Ken Ho Ching Man (何正民), a responsible forensic member who does things by the book.
- Sammy Sum will play Lai Ming Wai (黎明偉), a cop.
- Ruco Chan will play Jim Fong Sai Yau (方世友), a psychologist. He and Maggie are good friends.

FYI: Charmaine Sheh was originally cast as the female lead; however, due to an arm injury, Maggie Cheung has taken her place.

Personal Note: In the first two installments, the forensic, the pathologist, and the cop have many interactions with one another, since they work on the cases together. Since Ron said that he doesn't have many scenes with Charmaine, his role doesn't seem promising, and he doesn't seem to have much screen time. However, this wouldn't be a surprise, since this is a Catherine series.
Ron and Kate also mentioned that they will have many action scenes.
