TVB's annual event "TV Awards Presentation 2022" is held on the evening of January 8th. Kenneth Ma talked about his engagement: "Have already had many people congratulating me since I walked in today. I was thinking, 'I shouldn't have much of a probability of winning an award today!' Well, I think that it's because we announced it on January 1st. We have also received all of [your] blessings. Thank you!"
As for why [he] had chosen January 1st to announce [his] marriage, Kenneth frankly said, "Because I told everyone at the end of last year that there would be a plan to get married this year, so chose January 1st, 2023 to tell everyone. Then we really announced it. Announced this matter from our own mouths". As for the day of the proposal, Kenneth expressed that it is a secret, and he does not plan on telling everyone: "Leaving a little secret for us; however, actually, the process of the proposal was very simple. In fact, it was just the two of us...not a big group of people...simply two people". When asked if Roxanne Tong had cried on the day of the proposal, Kenneth expressed, "Was happy and also touched! Actually, I am not those people who are so incredible that they can arrange those secrets, and it is always easy for others to see through [me], so I don't know much about arranging these things, but the entire matter was a happy one!" As for the wedding date, Kenneth expressed that it has not been decided yet...will definitely inform everyone when the time comes: "We always said that we would tell everyone when the time is right". He is extremely thankful for everyone's blessings.
Regarding winning an award this time, Kenneth expressed that he is not confident, blissfully expressing, "Already got a big award this year, so very thankful to everyone". TV king Kenneth thinks highly of his "Big White Duel II" brothers, Roger Kwok and Moses Chan, this year. Personally hopes that Joel Chan has good results because he has also waited for many years. As for TV queen, Kenneth is torn, frankly saying, "Have collaborated with everyone and also good friends with everyone. All in all, also hope that everyone is happy. It's really difficult to choose...fond of everyone!"
