Synopsis: 'Kwok Pak Fei' (郭柏飛), 'Keung Hei Man' (姜曦文), and 'Lau Lik' (劉力) had a profound master-apprentice relationship with Sergeant 'Law Yau Pong' (羅友邦) when they first left the academy over ten years ago. In an operation three years ago, 'Pong' was shot dead by a robber, and 'Lik' was seriously injured and fell into a coma. 'Man' blamed 'Fei', and since then, the friends have parted ways.
A mutilation murder case of a young girl occurs in the city. The victim was related to a human trafficking syndicate. The Intelligence Bureau's 'Man' is in charge of investigating the syndicate's incriminating evidence, while the Major Crimes Unit's is in charge of tracking down the murderer and has dispatched Probationary Inspector of Police 'Wan Ka Lei' (溫嘉莉) to infiltrate the crime syndicate. 'Fei' and 'Man' coincidentally receive mysterious mobile messages one after another, pointing out clues to the murder case. The superiors then merge the two teams to form the Anonymous Signal Intelligence Bureau (ASIB). The ASIB is led by 'Fei' and 'Man', jointly dismantling these mysterious messages that seem to come from the future and solving bizarre murder cases.
The messages are musterious and cannot be explained with science. The messages were actually sent by whom? By a person of the future? Or an unknown force of nature? Is the person a foe or a friend?
