- The series is a co-production between Tencent and TVB.
- There is location filming in Foshan.
- Bowie Lam will play Ting Lok Fung (丁洛風), a detective. He pursues Yoyo Chen; they have a passionate relationship. He will have a hopelessly muddled triangular relationship with Monica Chan and Yoyo.
- Monica will play Ting Siu Wai, a crime scene investigator. She is Bowie's biological elder sister. She really adores her younger brother and wants to protect him. She exists to protect her younger brother. There are some things that he thinks are good but she thinks are bad, so she would slightly force him. She really despises Yoyo because she feels that she has snatched her younger brother.
- Owen Cheung will play Ying Hoi (刑凱), a detective with dual personalities. A part of the character is played by himself, while another part is played by James Ng; sometimes James would act as him, and sometimes he would act as James. He has many scenes with Bowie; he is in Bowie's team, and they investigate cases together.
- Raymond Cho will play Fu Yeung San (傅洋山), a psychology professor. He, Poon Chi Man, and Jack Wu are a family.
- Kelly Fu will play Yeung Chi Fei (楊芷菲), a psychologist and a profiler in criminal psychology. She is an associate professor of psychology. There are many professional terms in the dialogue, and there are a lot of emotional scenes. She will have romantic scenes with Owen.
- Yoyo will play Ho Miu Suet (何妙雪), Bowie's lover. Her scenes are mainly with Bowie.
- James will have some action scenes.
- Joey Thye will play Lee Yan, a university student with a rather gloomy personality. She gets violently beaten. She is Kelly's patient. There is no romantic storyline.
- Jack will play Fu Sing San (傅成山).
- Matthew Ko will have a special appearance as Cheung Moon Kwong (張滿光), a Superintendent. He is always wearing suits while investigating cases. He has many scenes with Bowie. He always finds ways to trick Bowie and Owen.
- Deon Cheung will have a special appearance. Only a few people say his name. He is neither a human nor a ghost.

Personal Note: No longer dual TV kings as was initially advertised, and while Kelly has been demoted from a leading to a starring role, Yoyo has been promoted to a starring role....

Weird that a part of Owen's role is being played by James....
