- The series is a co-production between Tencent and TVB. There will be location filming in the Guangdong province, etc.
- The series uses a jewellery family as its theme. The theme revolves around family inheritance and conspiracies. The plot is not heavy.
- The series centres on the jewellery king played by Roger Kwok, telling the story of the open strife and veiled struggle among him and his wife, his children, and the family members for the interests of the family. The series is also adding new elements, including the family office management trust executor played by Him Law, who brings even more unpredictable variables to the fight for the family assets.
- Roger will play Ho Ying Tin (何仰天), the chairman of a listed company. He is the helmsman of the family, and is the father of Matthew Ho, Andrew Chan, Joey Law, and Hilary Chong. He is a good father. He has a May-December romance with Hera Chan. He causes the entire family to be in chaos before he has died; not only does he take a young woman as his wife, but he also arranges for Him, who had a feud with his family, to be the executor of the family office. Did he have ill intentions? Was there a big change in temperament after meeting a young woman, or was there another reason behind it?
- Him will play Ko Sam (高深), the person in charge of the family office. He helps family members manage their assets. The executor of a family office has two major roles: help the family pass on their wealth and find a suitable successor for the family. At the same time, he must help the family members grow up healthily, intervening in their health, academics, and even their social life; thus, an executor has great power. He specializes in assets investments and handling family issues for super-rich families. He is a family housekeeper who only looks toward money. He is slightly evil. He is an outsider who helps them manage the family assets; however, he is greedy and hopes to have the opportunity to privatize the wealthy family's assets. His character mainly reflects people's greed and desires. He is unpredictable, and it is difficult to determine whether he is good or evil. His identity should be to help this family, but he is also closely related to the family members. Whether his actions in the process help or harm others is left to the audience to judge. He, Regina Ho, and Matthew have a triangular relationship, but it is only lightly touched on. He and Regina were fiancé and fiancée, but Regina abandons him and looks toward money by going to Matthew. He has little romance; he has no passionate scenes. He got hurt in love; it turns out that, when you have no status and money, even the woman you like the most will also get snatched away.
- Hera will play Roger's second wife.
- Helena Law will play Roger's mother.
- Matthew will play the eldest son of the Fong family. The father's assets are all distributed to outsiders, so the children rally together. He and his wife, Regina, use all means to fight for the family assets. He and Him are enemies. He, Andrew, et al. pull out all the stops to fight for the family assets and compete to become the third generation helmsman. He knows that Him has old feelings for Regina, so he uses his wife's beauty to explore what weaknesses Him has.
- Joey will play Martin, the third son of the Fong family. He is from the new generation of the big family; he has his own rebelliousness. He is more chill and does not really care about worldly affairs. He has a romantic storyline with Rosita Kwok.
- Andrew will play Fong Hok Kan (方學勤), the second son of the Fong family. He and his wife, Yvette Chan, hope to give birth to the Fong family's first grandson as soon as possible to fight for a greater say and influence.
- Regina will play the big daughter-in-law of a wealthy family. She, Him, and Matthew have a triangular relationship. She gives up her fiancé, Him, for money, and goes to Matthew, who is the son of a wealthy family. She hires her ex to help her fight for the family assets; however, she does not worship money, and she even manages a charity foundation. She and Matthew are already an old married couple, so there are fewer passionate scenes. She has a domineering aura.
- Rosita will play Ko Ching (高靜), Him's younger sister. She is quiet and has a strong sense of justice. She assists her elder brother in his work. She originally wanted to become a lawyer but could not for some reasons that are related to Joey; thus, she joins her elder brother's company and works in his office. She has a romantic storyline with Joey.
- Kaman Kong will play Fong Chi Kwan (方芷君), Mimi Kung's daughter. Roger is her uncle (i.e, her father's younger brother). She belongs to the senior branch of the family; she is the eldest daughter of the Fong family. Matthew, Andrew, and Joey are her elder brothers. At first, she watches her sisters-in-law make a move, waiting for them to be more-or-less done fighting and then making a move. She is from the new generation of the big family; she has her own rebelliousness. She often has dates with handsome guys, and she has a lot of nice clothes to wear. She has the most scenes with Him.
- Hilary will play Roger's treasured daughter who is well-behaved and acts cute. Hera is her stepmother. She is more aloof from worldly affairs. She has a good relationship with her father, Roger, and her third elder brother, Joey, because the others are focused on fighting for the family assets. She is from the new generation of the big family; she has her own rebelliousness. She is fixated on romance. She mainly has a university student look. She will be going to Shenzhen to film.
- Yvette will play a famous model who has a clear goal of wanting to marry into a wealthy family. She comes from a modest family. She wants to marry a rich person so that she can pay off a debt. She previously took part in a 'star wives training camp' and received training in getting a rich husband. In the end, she successfully gets to the top and marries the rich second generation Andrew, living the life of a young wife.
- Lee Sing Cheung will play Tung Yau Wai (董有為).
- Tsui Wing will play Kwong Wai Leung (鄺偉樑), an ambitious and high-achieving person.
- Skin Chow will play To Chim (杜占), a member of the family inheritance office. Rich guys are his long-term customers, and rich girls are his life goals.
- Eric Tang will guest-star.
