TVB's grand production "No Return" will officially start filming in Hengdian at the end of next month. The cast and crew are going to Hengdian in groups to prepare. The story this time is totally unrelated to the prevous installments. It will be a completely new story and characters, but it will continue to use the 'heroine' spirit. Those before the screen and behind the scenes look forward to it making a new impact. Previously, on.cc was the first to reveal that the male and female leads of this series are confirmed to be Wayne Lai and Nancy Wu. The previous soul star Sheren Tang is not destined to reunite with Wayne. Sheren also responded to this on social media, clearly stating that it had been discussed for four years and was also disappointed that it could not happen in the end. She also emphasized that it had nothing to do with the pay. Regarding this, Producer Fong Chun Chiu said in an interview, "Worked on the script of this project for a long time. When preparing for it initially, did think of different candidates for the male and female leads. Certainly considered Sheren and had always discussed it with her; however, in terms of the conditions, found that there was a great discrepancy. The chances of collaborating were very small, so already decided to cast Nancy very early on". Speaking of Sheren's claim that the pay was not the issue, he said, "Of course, the conditions are multifaceted...not just one. There are many things to consider".

Currently, the supporting actors include Edwin Siu, Joey Law, and Hera Chan. Other actors include Lisa Ch'ng, Gabriel Harrison, et al. Hera, who is taking part in a series set in the early Republic for the first time, is wrapping up the new series "The Dead Will Tell". She said in an interview, "There are still a few days to wrap up. For these few days, I have also been working hard to shoot all day, only using the time after getting off work to do homework so that I would be able to get myself into condition as soon as possible to prepare for the filming of 'No'". Supporting actor Joey said, "Very happy. Actually already heard that [I] had a part in filming it last year, but there was no news after that. I am greatly looking forward to working with Wayne. Hope to be able to learn from him". Joey said that he has never left Hong Kong for a few months to film a series, so [he] is a little nervous. He said, "Usually also have to accompany my mom and cats and dogs, and also scared of forgetting to bring things, but heard people say that Hengdian has everything. I am greatly looking forward to it. Looking at the script every night now, and I also like it very much. Will work hard to delve into the role. Hope that there will be a breakthrough in terms of the styling". Joey also pointed out that the weather in Hengdian is very hot now, but it will be super cold in December, laughingly saying, "Thus, [I] have to bring a lot of clothes. Basically have to bring clothes for the four seasons".

Lisa said when interviewed, "Very thankful to the producer for giving me the opportunity! Also previously filmed the series 'The Ghetto-Fabulous Lady', which was set in the early Republic and was also produced by Fong Chun Chiu. This time, my main scenes are with Nancy. Previously collaborated in 'Mission Run'. Plus, we have common friends, so I know that she is a very nice and great person. Also greatly looking forward to collaborating with Wayne, Nancy, and Edwin this time. Can definitely learn a lot of things from Wayne! I believe that this filming will definitely be a great experience".
