Artistes Kenneth Ma and Roxanne Tong attended an event for the first time today since they announced their engagement, acting as ribbon-cutting guests for Lukfook Jewellery's new shop in Tsim Sha Tsui. The two wore off-white formal attire and came out arm-in-arm; it was like rehearsing for their wedding. Tse Moon Chuen, the Deputy Chairman and Deputy General Manager of Lukfook Group, gifted them a pair of dragon and phoenix bangles weighing over three taels as a congratulatory gift for their wedding.
Roxanne frankly said that it is their first time attending as fiancé and fiancée, representing a new chapter in their lives; she felt a bit nervous. Kenneth also feels that this identity is very special. He, who was in a cheerful mood, sweetly praised his fiancée as looking bright and beautiful: "She has a different beauty at different times...is also pretty without makeup or sleeping". The MC Maggie Chang could not help but tease him about his strong will to survive.
Regarding it being like a wedding rehearsal, Roxanne expressed that they wore light colours as requested by the organizer. Her wedding dress has not been finalized yet; as for the level of sexiness, will respect her future husband's wishes: "[If] he says it's okay, then it's okay". Previously let him take a look at pictures of foreign wedding dresses, and he thought that they were too sexy. As for the wedding dress for when she officially walks the aisle, won't be giving him a preview, but provided reassurance that it will definitely not be horrifying. He will do his best to complement his formal attire with Roxanne.
It is their first time attending as a couple partnership to make money. They revealed that it was a happy price and a price that is worth it. Hope that they will come one after another in the future, laughingly saying that they hope to have home design and furniture sponsorships. Kenneth frankly said that he has plans to buy another property for future baby plans; Roxanne praised her future husband for having great ambitions. As for having children, leaving it to fate; there is no pressure yet. She expressed that she is very happy to receive the dragon and phoenix bangles...even given earlier than her parents. Kenneth is currently busy filming the series "The QUEEN of News", and he may take on a new series in July, causing a delay in setting a departure date for the wedding pictures. He expressed that Roxanne has been organizing the wedding; later, he will participate more. Roxanne pointed out that he has been busy with work and has only had two or three hours of sleep each day...feels sorry for depriving him of his sleep time...extremely considerate. Asking Roxanne about having not married yet but already taking care of her future husband, she laughingly said, "Because it hasn't been officially registered yet! He is very good to me. Even if [he] is very busy and does not get enough sleep, would take the initiative in wanting to help. I told him to give me a date...okay as long as [he] shows up when the time comes". Kenneth also praised her as being a good wife: "Also say that she is great...helps me arrange everything".
In addition, Roxanne's new series, "Secret Door", is airing; they have not had time to watch it yet. As for Kenneth and Charmaine Sheh taking turns to treat everyone to food during the filming of "QUEEN", Kenneth felt that everyone had a hard time filming on set...hoped to show appreciation for everyone. Last night, it was also a belated birthday meal for Charmaine.
