Affected by the pandemic, "Family Successor" was supposed to commence at the beginning of the year but had been postponed. Recently, it has finally been set to do location filming in Malaysia in July. It is estimated that the outside filming will take about two months, and the team will return to Hong Kong to continue working. Gallen [Lo] is confirmed to take part.
The script of "Family" is still being revised, but it is already known that Gallen has a lot of screen time, and the role is only second to the male lead, Raymond Lam, in importance. Reportly, he will play the father of Him Law and Toby Leung in the series, and has always hoped that his son becomes successful in life. This time, Gallen and Him are reuniting after collaborating in the series "Infernal Affairs" in 2016. The two naturally look forward to being able to battle in acting again.

TVB fa dan Kelly Cheung, who is collaborating with Gallen for the first time in "Family", expressed in a phone interview with on.cc that she is greatly looking forward this performance. She said, "Have not collaborated with Gallen before. We saw each other before, but have not worked together yet. I am also prepared to secretly learn from him! Every time I encounter a senior when filming a series, I always prepare a lot of questions to ask them for their opinions, so hope that Gallen does not find me annoying...ha ha!"
