- The story happens three months after the first installment.
- Ruco Chan has to woo Lin Xia Wei back. He has more case investigation and action scenes. There is also suspense in the story.
- Lin Xia Wei and Ruco already broke up and are ordinary friends at the beginning. Alex Fong is a new friend who helps her investigate cases.
- Alex Fong will play Tong Koon Fung (唐冠峰), a biology professor who is popular among students. He came back from a foreign country. He is an intelligent, clever, and knowledgeable person who helps the police, assisting Ruco and Lin Xia Wei to solve cases, becoming a 'triangular relationship'. He mainly has scenes with Cheung Wing Hong, Lin Xia Wei, and Ben Wong. He and Cheung Wing Hong were close friends in their youth. He counsels Lin Xia Wei, helping her let go of the unhappy things in the past. He and Lin Xia Wei are only good friends. He, Lin Xia Wei, and Ruco have a subtle triangular relationship; he has an ambiguous one-sided love for Lin Xia Wei, but it will not affect their stable relationship.
- Ben and Joman Chiang will have a crisis in their relationship, which lies in the obstacle of his father, Lee Lung Kei.
- Crystal Fung has become a faithful girlfriend who only loves Matthew Ko. She and Matthew are a sweet couple.
- Cheung Wing Hong has not died. He has to get revenge for his wife. He will encounter a woman who looks exactly like his wife.
- Matthew will play a surfing master.
- Kenneth Ma will guest-star as "Speakers of Law"'s 「金師爺」.
- Sabrina Leung will guest-star as a gangster in dire straits for a few episodes in a case.
- Mak Ling Ling will play a triad boss. She has action scenes.
- Rosita Kwok will play Wong San San (王珊珊), a mistress who has an extramarital affair with married man Fred Cheng; she does not know that he already has a wife. She is in insurace; due to work, she gets involved with Fred, having an ambiguous relationship with him, and causing him and his wife to have a marital change in the end.
- Gary Chan will guest-star as a good guy who has had a crush on Sabrina for 30 years.
- Cheung Lui will play a prisoner who becomes a fugitive.
- Fred has a wife, but the one he loves the most is Rosita.
- Rachel Lam is continuing from the first installment. She and Joman already know each other, as she previously helped her win a case; thus, she introduces a relative to find her to solve her case.
- Lisa Ch'ng will play Ma Sam Yi (馬芯宜).
- Carman Kwan will play Law Wing Kwan (羅詠軍), a member of the Organized Crime and Triad Bureau (OCTB) in the B Team.
- Frederick Cheung is a member of the OCTB in the A Team.
- Purple Ng has a romantic syoryline with Anthony Chow.
- Bond Chan will play an antagonist.
- HANA will guest-star as a pregnant woman for two episodes in one of the cases. Her husband is Brian Tse. She has many scenes with Wan Kwong.
- Niklas Lam will play an undercover cop who has to infiltrate a gang to collect criminal evidence. He has a quiet, contemplative personality. In order to get close to a triad boss, he uses his younger sister, Yuki Law, to get close to him; however, in the end, it is difficult for him to pull out his feelings for her.
- David Do will play 「邱仔」.
- Vincent Choi will play 「何大狀」.
- Dolby Kwan will play a member of the SDU.
- Gigi Yim will guest-star as singer Gigi Yim Ming Hei (炎明熹) for one scene. While shooting an MV, she gets attacked by terrorists.
- Lau Wai Man will guest-star as Ruco's father.
- Phoebe Pang will guest-star as the boss lady of a restaurant.
- Leonard Cheng will guest-star as a character who investigates Ruco.
