The new TVB series "Speakers of Law" premiered with a peak of 21.1 points (approximately 1,360,000 viewers), becoming the series with the highest ratings in the second time slot this year. [Last] night, Producer Lau Ka Ho treated to dinner to celebrate. Kenneth Ma, who is currently filming "The QUEEN of News", rushed to the site after getting off work. Cheung Wing Hong, Joman Chiang, Jacquelin Ch'ng, et al. were also in attendance. Kenneth is happy with the series' ideal ratings...hope that viewers like it. If the ratings continue to be good, he is pleased to treat to dinner because the success of a series is due to the efforts of those before the screen and behind the scenes.
Speaking of being busy filming a new series but still having the time to go to Mainland for a stage performance, Kenneth expressed that is is very convenient to go to and from Mainland now; he immediately returned to Hong Kong after the perfomance that night. Is he going to become a husband, so he cannot stay overnight? He laughingly said that there's no need to think too complicatedly; it's just that there was outdoor filming the next day. If there are obstructions when going through customs, it would not be good to affect the shoot. "Due to the pandemic, stage performance jobs were suspended. Hope to have more stage performances now...very welcome. Due to recent financial constraints, have to make more money". The wedding costs a lot? He said, "Fortunately, there are quite a few sponsors, so not spending a lot of money. (Are you paying for whatever fiancée Roxanne Tong likes?) Yes, but she knows what is appropriate. I am busy with work; she is responsible for everything. After getting married, will he ask for a lot of time off for his honeymoon? He said that it has not been decided. At the moment, have to deal with "QUEEN" first. Is he referring to the series or the 'queen' at home? He laughingly said, "My mom. She is also a queen".
