- 40-episode anniversary series for TVB's 50th anniversary.
- The series is using a tea restaurant as the background of the story.
- The background of the story is the conflict that arises after a family that is out of touch with society and a down-to-earth family merge, as well as the resentful change between the eldest son of the Wong family (played by Vincent Wong), and his uncle (played by Bosco Wong), triggering the power struggle between the families.
- Ha Yu will play Wong Wing Ching (黃永正), a milk tea king.
- Louise will play Ling Lai Ying (凌麗熒), who has a fiery temper. She is a very righteous person. Her husband owns a tea restaurant, while she has another job. She is also called 「火姐」.
- Michelle Yim will play Yu Sau Wai (余秀慧), a principal. She is extremely noble and comes from a prominent family, so she is a high class person. She and Lee Kwok Lun are a wealthy married couple. She is a neat freak who does not like her daughter, Eliza Sam, dating a commoner, feeling that others cannot reach them, and also looks down on Ha Yu running a tea restaurant; however, her husband collaborates with Ha Yu.
- Susanna Kwan will play Leung Sun Wah (梁順華), the wife of Ha Yu's younger brother. She is very feisty. She really likes to sing. She and Louis Yuen are a pair.
- Bosco will play Ling Sing Fung (凌乘風), a womanizing, wealthy guy. He has many girlfriends. Many years ago, he and his friend had their eyes on Priscilla Wong at the same time, but his friend was the first to say that he would pursue Priscilla, so he kept his feelings in his heart. Although his friend and Priscilla began a relationship, he worked too hard at his job that he suddenly died. Although his friend is no longer alive, he still thinks that Priscilla is his 'sister-in-law', but their relationship changes with time. He Louise Lee's younger brother.
- Vincent will play Wong Wai Ka (黃圍家), the son of a tea restaurant owner. He and Eliza are lovebirds who get broken up by their families; always almost get together, but because of some accidents, they separate, and get further and further apart. Later, he goes to Portugal to heal his heartbreak. He is the son of Ha Yu and Louise, going against Michelle together.
- Priscilla will play Fong Hei Man (方希文). She and Bosco are 'good brothers'. They are such good friends that Bosco would spend the night at her place after clubbing, and would sometimes even bring a female along, and he is indifferent when she wears a vest and shorts. Initially, the two have a brotherhood, but she later has a blatant crush on Bosco.
- Eliza will play Belle Hui Bui Yi (許貝兒), the daughter of a wealthy family. She and Vincent are a couple; because of family issues, the two fall in love but are unable to love.
- Sharon Chan will play Venus Wong Yi Oi (黃以愛), the daughter of Ha Yu and Louise. She falls in love with married man Michael Tong; apart from spiritual infidelity, there will also be intense bed scenes.
- Michael will play Cheng Lap On (鄭立安), a CEO who mediates the disputes between the two families. He is a university professor.
- Nora Miao will play a troublemaker. Back then, she, Louise, and another girl were the three beauties of a certain region. She liked Ha Yu, but he did not know; she felt that he should have chosen her, since she was also the prettiest, but he ended up choosing Louise. Disappointed, she marries a rather wealthy person and moves to Canada; however, her husband is very frugal, so she has to do everything herself; thus, she does not live as comfortably as expected. Later, her husband passes away, and his entire inheritance is given to her, so she becomes a wealthy woman. She returns to Hong Kong to see her friends. Seeing their family being so harmonious and happy, she is filled with emotions, feeling that the family originally belonged to her, and that the family would have been hers had Ha Yu married her. She becomes jealous of the affection between Ha Yu and Louise, so she tries to break them apart and causes trouble. In the end, she helps them overcome a difficult barrier.
- Ram Chiang will play a legal consultant.
- Lee Sing Cheung will play a troublemaker.
- Jacquelin Ch'ng will play a troublemaker. She is Lee Sing Cheung's wife. She and Michelle are the wives of brothers.
- Bianca Wu will play Michael's wife. She and Michael are a model couple and have a happy family. Later, she learns from someone else's mouth about Sharon's involvement.
- Jason Chan will play a pianist. He is Mary Hon's son.
- Liza Wang will guest-star as the ex-wife of the wealthiest man in Hong Kong.
- Steven Ma will guest-star for one episode as a Bosco's friend and Priscilla's boyfriend in a flashback. He has a romantic storyline with Priscilla, but in the end, she falls in love with his good friend, Bosco. When he appears, he has already died. He works too hard to make money to buy a flat that he dies from a heart attack.
- Ben Wong will play Yau Kei (友基).
- Yumiko Cheng will guest-star as one of Bosco's girlfriends for a few episodes. She is a wealthy woman. She and Bosco have an ambiguous relationship.
- Wiyona Yeung will guest-star as one of Bosco's girlfriends for a few episodes. She is a martial arts actor.
- Crystal Fung will guest-star as one of Bosco's girlfriends.
- Ashley Chu will play Sharon's friend.
- Michelle Liem will play Sharon's friend.
- Aliya Fan will play a secretary.
- Stephen Wong will guest-star as a maintenance technician in Portugal who is asked by good friend Bosco to take care of Vincent.
- Brian Chu will play Liza's son.
- Stefan Wong will guest-star as a government official.
- Fanny Lee will play Polly, who does not speak with high or low notes and is very boring; however, she is very observant and is diligent and attentive.
