Joey Meng and Ben Wong Fight to Be Junior

Yesterday, Joey Meng and Ben Wong were doing location filming for the series "Slave for Food" in TVB City. Joey, who was in ancient costume, had to do a fight scene...was convincing. She frankly said that it is her first time filming ancient fight scenes...the method of fighting is different from back then...must have better movements and posture. She laughingly said that she is able to fight in every scene: "Quite fun. When I go back [home], have to check whether there are injuries first. However, recently, also did stretching...want to train for the splits. (Your arms and legs are long. Did you ask the director to add some leg movements?) No! However, sometimes, the director tells me to not extend too long...afraid that the arms and legs are out of the shot".

In the series, Joey and Ben have a romantic storyline. When Ben was asked whether he gave Joey any pointers, he laughingly said, "Would not. She is a senior!" After hearing this, Joey immediately pouted and said, "What? Don't joke around! I am a junior!"

Personal Note: Ha ha.... Joey and Ben actually both entered the industry in 1989; it's just that one was through ATV's Miss Asia Pageant, while the other was through TVB's Acting Class. ;)

Yoyo Mung Temporarily Leaving TVB: Not Renewing Contract

Yesterday, Yoyo Mung did an interview recording at a radio station, where she personally admitted that she is temporarily not renewing her contract with TVB. She said, "TVB and I are maintaining a good relationship. At this moment, still my mother company. As for how I would be walking my road in the future, this circle is round. Can always go back. Temporarily leaving doesn't represent forever".

She frankly admitted that, when she was discussing contract renewal, the other party did not give any new work arrangements. On the other hand, when Ricky Wong discussed with her, would ask her what type of series she would like to film or what roles she would like to try...the chances of collaborating are high.

Tavia Yeung Feeds Kenneth Ma Fish Balls in One Take

On the 9th, Kenneth Ma was filming for "The Hippocratic Crush II". The scene was about Tavia Yeung feeding Kenneth fish balls. Took one take...had quite a bit of chemistry. During this, the director had to use different cameras to film, causing Kenneth to eat 20 curry fish balls. This time, "Hippocratic II" has the help of Queen Elizabeth Hospital. The majority of the scenes are filmed at real locations.

This time, Lawrence Ng's screen time in "Hippocratic II" is comparable to Kenneth's...has a part in the scenes for 25 episodes. In the series, portrays a consultant who is diagnosed with a terminal illness. In the end, also has a tear-provoking ending.

Regarding Lawrence being a scene-stealer, Kenneth graciously admitted, "This time, the screen time is not as concentrated, but it's a good thing because, in the second installment, I am with Tavia from the beginning to the end...do not have other romantic storylines. Having Lawrence will make the entire series have a fresh feeling. (Are you afraid of him stealing the spotlight from you?) Not afraid. What's most important is for many people to like the series...how much screen time I have is not important".
