Artiste Selena Lee became a finalist in 'Best Performance by an Actress' for her role in "Barrack O'Karma" at the "2021 New York Festivals TV & Film Awards", and 'TV King' Wayne Lai won bronze in 'Best Performance by an Actor' for "Death by Zero", both receiving recognition overseas. When Selena accepted an interview with on.cc, she frankly said that she was very happy, even expressing her thanks to the entire team's efforts that she had this performing opportunity. She said, "First of all, very grateful to TVB for applying for me. Secondly, 'Barrack! is a low-budget series. It was very difficult to shoot. There was not much support. It was originally a series that would air on Sundays, but it later changed to a weekday broadcast. Everyone also liked it. Now, even a foreign country recognizes this role...really very grateful. Hope that the second installment is able to air soon!" She also said that, when she received the good news from executive Virginia Lok, she notified Producer Yip Chan Fai and male lead Joel Chan right away; they were also quite happy and excited, even telling Selena to treat them to dinner!
