Selena's hair is different at this costume fitting. I like this look better than the one from the internal fitting.
You can tell Charmaine is the good and kind one from her hair and wardrobe.
Kevin Cheng's costume looks way better than the one in the sales clip, yet I can't help but picture Steven Ma, Sammul Chan, or Sunny Chan as the role of the imperial guard.
Looks wise, everybody looks good, but Tracy Ip's whole look is exactly Anne Heung's Lady Yang look.

Yep.. Selena's hair is different and better! From the hairstyle I assume that she's ranked above Tracy and Mandy? I'm not sure... But I think Tavia's look is also very pretty, the red dot on her face makes her look more evil :D
ReplyDeleteCharmaine's custom is so pretty, I can say it's much better than in Sales Presentation. I think Susanna's hair is better than Michelle. Susan Tse's hair is so exaggerated.. hahas
Selena's role seems smaller than I thought before. The four main female leads are Charmaine, Tavia, Michelle, Susanna? And then the two male leads Moses, Kevin? Then the group of concubines (Selena, Mandy, Tracy) with Mary Hon, Susan Tse, Kara Hui? What role is Crystal Tin playing?
ReplyDeleteif edwin plays 李瀍 that means he's going to be the emperor before moses... moses is his uncle... haha...
ReplyDeleteim guessing they're going to start the series with edwin as the emperor and then moses becomes the emperor later on... i cant think of another reason why 李瀍 would be part of the series...
also maybe some flashbacks or even cooler with the series starting with young李怡...
i kinda have moses' part of the series all planned out in my head... wish TVB did it my way... haha!!! :P
Mare, there will be scenes of little Moses in the series (by Lawrence Ng) - also heard that there will be many child actors in the series. Therefore the series should begin at the the main cast childhood/youth period.

I was wondering who the 4th Sheung Gong was.. I thought it was Kara Hui but she looks a lot different. I like her, she's a good actress!

It seems to me that Susan Tse might not be a Sheung Gong because she is dressed way too fancy to be one of the four Sheung Gong. Can she be playing Moses' mom?

ReplyDeleteThese are in the imperial group click (includes Mary and Susan), so they appear together.
Edwin is Moses' uncle and see this, Mary and Susan appear with Edwin. So one of them is Edwin's mother and the other is Moses' mother? I think that Susan's chance to be Moses mother is bigger.
Then the group of maids click (includes Kara Hui and Ching Hor Wai), can it be possible that these are the other 2 controllers, besides Michelle and Susanna?
This is another lower rank of maids click and controlled by Lee Lai Lai?
On wiki I read that Tavia is 淑妃, Selena is 賢妃, Mandy is 德妃 and Tracy is 貴妃 (No wonder that her looks resembled Lady Yang! Lady Yang was also 貴妃)
ReplyDeleteIn this wiki page, I find out that all four are same ranked under the empress (皇后), wonder who will be the empress? Or nobody is yet..?
Also, I read that Mary is 西太后 and Susan 東太后.
I don't know. First I read that Tavia is Lai Fei, but other places say she is Suk Fei. I need to watch the "Scoop" or payvision or something.

I was watching something else and Vin Choi said that he has a crush on Tavia even though he is a eunuch. Kara Hui was also there so maybe she is still the sheung gong and she was next to one of the ladies who always plays the mom in series so maybe she's the 4th one? by the way, who's susan tse?

ReplyDeleteI agree with sehseh, I think Susan Tse and Mary Hon will play those roles. I wonder what role is Ching Ho Wai going to play. Her look seems to be older. Can see be Moses grandma or one of the Sheung Gong? I don't really know.
ReplyDeleteChing Ho Wai walked out in Sheung Gong and Palace Controllers group, I think she is one of the controllers.
ReplyDeleteOtherwise, she could be the 3rd empress dowager, Empress Dowager Xiao because I haven't seen anyone else in same age rank who wore grand clothes like that.
But in the imperial concubines group, Lam Yi Kei also worn different costumes, I couldn't see it clearly. There's no way she could be Moses' wife, so she migtt be Xiao.
