Kelly Chen Gives Birth to Baby Boy 'Chace'

Congratulations to Kelly for giving birth to 6 lb. baby boy Chace on July 10th, 2009. Kelly and Alex's son shares the same birth date as Jacky Cheung.

Prudence Liew: "Congratulations! I have to remind Kelly that, after giving birth, she needs to relax. And she must breastfeed because breastfeeding mothers lose weight faster. An hour of breastfeeding can lose 500 calories. It can make the baby have whiter skin, big, and tall".

Kay Tse: "Really? I'm very happy for her! Giving birth is such a great and happy matter. How many happy things actually happen in life? Kelly is very smart! She was very attractive when was pregnant, and she had an 'army' of people taking care of her. Thus, I'm very happy for her".

Andy Hui: "That's great news! Congratulations to Kelly! I'm not in Hong Kong right now, but I will treat Kelly to dinner when I return".

Miriam Yeung: "I'm exploding with happiness! Does Kelly's son look like her? The most important thing is that her family is happy and fortunate. Would I want to give birth? I'm currently recording songs right now, so I have to give birth to a music album or else I wouldn't be able to think about giving birth to a baby".

Aaron Kwok: "Congratulations! Kelly is officially a mother. I hope Kelly's son will be as smart and 型 as Kelly".

Qiqi: "I'm very happy for Kelly. She gave me daughter cakes when she got married, and now she has given birth. Her life is really smooth sailing! Kelly is very filial, and she understands how to treasure her entertainment career. I hope that she will have another baby, so she can have two in three years".

Mark Lui: "I'm so happy for her. Congratulations, Kelly! Now, my son has a friend because they are similar in age. My son is older than her son, so my son can bully her son. I'm just joking!"

Summary:

Chin Ka Lok Wants to Be This Year's 'Best New Singer'

Chin Ka Lok, Sammul Chan, Nancy Wu, and the rest of the cast of "A Bride for a Ride" were at a promotional event. After this promo, Sammul said that he will be leaving to Heng Dian to film a Mainland series: "Louisa So is in the states and Gigi Wong is back in Canada, so Ka Lok will be responsible for playing many characters at the later promos".

This is Chin Ka Lok's second time being main, and it is his first time singing a TVB theme song. He laughed, "I will be fighting for the award of 'Best New Singer' at the year-end music presentation ceremonies, and I will be fighting 'Chai Gau' Wayne Lai for TVB's 'Most Improved Actor' award. (Are you afraid that your singing would affect the ratings?) Actually, it is the producer who requested that I sing the theme song. Thus, there was nothing for me to be afraid of".

My sister told me that it is Wong Cho Lam singing the female part. Now that she had said that, it does sound like Cho Lam's girl voice. Ha ha....

Personal Note: No wonder Sammul said that the theme song was very hard for him to sing! It is because he had to rap! The theme reminds me of Jay Chou's "Huo Yuan Jia". He he....

Chin Ka Lok is very fitted for the character of Wong Lo Fu. Catherine Chau's character sleeps all the time, so you can see her in the back sleeping when Nancy Wu is acting. A female voicing staff dubbed all of Sammul's dressing up as a girl scenes in the series. Ha ha... This is going to be Louisa So's second time playing Gigi Wong's daughter-in-law. Ha ha....

Ron Ng & Sammul Chan @ 《變節》 Filming

Michael Tse, Ron Ng, and Sammul Chan were spotted in Tsim Sha Tsui filming Laughing Gor's movie. In the movie, Ron and Sammul are making special guest appearances as 'no name' police cadets with only a minute of screen time. As they are not playing their characters in "The Academy" series, they even have different PC numbers. Ron and Sammul both expressed that they are not taking any pay for filming the movie.

This clip was aired in 2003 during the anniversary month for the 2004 Sales Presentation. The series was not filmed.

I have watched all of TVB's Sales Presentation clips from the mid '90s to the present time, but this clip had slipped through my fingers until now (I've only seen pictures of it in Ming Pao Weekly).

The storyline reminds me too much of "A Tough Side of Lady" and "Eternal Happiness". I've also noticed that most of the costumes used in this clip were from "Find the Light". If TVB had filmed this, I think it would have been pretty clever to write Fong Sai Yuk as a girl instead of a guy. However, Shirley would not be my first choice to play Fong Sai Yuk though. Ha ha....
