Hubert Wu, Regina Ho, Joey Law, Michelle Yim, Shek Sau, Bella Lam, Alvin Ng, Dickson Yu, et al. attended a blessing ceremony for "Return of the Cuckoo". Hubert, who plays 'Man Chor', injured his right foot, so he appeared in crutches. It turns out that he had accidentally stepped on a puddle and injured his foot.
Speaking of having the outstanding Julian Cheung and Charmaine Sheh as a reference, are [Hubert and Regina] worried about comparisons? The two frankly said that there was pressure. Hubert said, "There is definite pressure. Doing my best on my own version. Adding some of my own new character". Regina said, "There is pressure in having to work with my senior, Hubert. He is very quick-witted; I can't beat him in a squabble. I watched the version from 20 years ago in hopes of finding a contrast and adding in my own new elements".
Bella and Alvin will have a moving love story in the series. Bella expressed being very happy and honoured to play the classic character 'Wong Hoi Lam', and congratulated Alvin for being able to collaborate with her. Asking whether the two have a lot of intimate scenes, Bella frankly said that there are a lot: "There are kisses and hugs. In the series, it is said that I am hurt by Alvin. I am sometimes pitiful and sometimes very sweet...going schizophrenic soon".
Dickson, who is guest-starring as the younger version of 'Chuk Chin Fai' in the series, emphasized that he is currently in good physical condition: "I have communicated with the company. Hope to film more series again, so the recent series have been guest appearances. Previously guest-starred in 'Gatekeepers'".
